Reflecting on the Summer and Autumn Seasons the Masters of Celebrations wish to make some announcements in regards to its future plans and goals for the peerage as a whole.

The theme for events hosted by the Imperial Court this early winter shall be Comradery & Kinship, which shall focus on building new bonds and encouraging personal growth within the winter season.

    Frost’s Pairing Competition
A twist on the typical debutante ball, lasting the course of multiple events. May the peerage learn secrets and find friends, or more.

    Hunter’s Grace Retreat
An opportunity for the peerage to unwind and show their skills as hunters and storytellers.

A Night of Intrigue and Mystery
A night of subterfuge and deduction in the fire-lit halls of the Imperial Estate.

For those wishing to host their own events within this time period, the Master of Celebrations Merdoc Slumberwood has compiled some tips and suggestions for a successful event.

Events should strive to be unique. While not necessarily in concept, as many masquerades and hunts may be hosted, in detail and originality. One should endeavor to provide their own ‘spin’ to the event - perhaps with a theme, peculiar activity, or targeted audience.

Guests partake in events to be entertained, not to entertain themselves. While it is not entirely the host’s duty to provide each and every guest, providing them with the tools necessary to do so themselves is of utmost importance. Activities are the easiest way to do this - a game, a competition, a performance, anything and everything can give your attendees something to speak about or partake in.

Before you host your event, ensure all preparations are taken care of at least a day in advance. Any musicians that need hiring, venues that need decorating, food that needs making, should be done with a buffer to give any mishaps time to be solved.

While much of the peerage’s events are entirely peerage focused, you may consider expanding the attendance of your events to include others. This bridges the gap between noble and commoner, and reminds those of the importance of a governing body.

Many events work best without some sort of prior attendance or sign up required. Things where anyone might show up regardless of past experience or actions are much better received, both attendance wise and enjoyment wise.

The Imperial Court shall begin hosting monthly, if not bi-weekly, private dinners and soirees for those who have shown themselves particularly influential in court life. A list shall be maintained by the Masters of Celebrations, with attendance switched after every event to include new and interesting faces. Those that are recognized by the Imperial Court as favoured artists shall also be included within the membership list. Topics and activities at these events shall depend on the instance, with no two being the same.

The old man sat crisscrossed before the fireplace, bringing a wooden goblet of spiced wine to his lips as he shivered in the winter cold. Upon becoming aware of the news of his invitation to future Imperial Court events, the man tightly gripped his chest as his heart swelled with honor.

"Argh, EUREKA!" Leuthar gasped, spilling some of the wine onto his coat in the process.

He would go on to read and re-read the announcement for many minutes afterward, a joyful smile on his face as his hands shook in a combination of cold, excitement, and anxiety.
