  • Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

On the 31st of May, 308, House Playero is recorded to have plead guilty to conspiring to stage a coup d'etat alongside the Marienritter Order and Hengest Harhold. While the verdict remains irreproachable in the eyes of the Judiciary, it is unfortunately far from the truth. Since the day House Playero arrived to the Crown Isle, it has served this city and its Chancellorship loyally. Manipulated by the seditious and surreptitious strings of the Baron Hengest Harhold, who sought to take advantage of House Playero's influence and rally a vote of no confidence, our kin was kept uninformed of the Baron's and the Marienritters' intention of violently seizing the state. After these individuals had foolishly alerted the March-Elector of Drachenwald, of all people, about this coup d'etat by way of written letter, it was only inevitable that House Playero fall to guilt by association despite it having no part in this most nefarious ordeal. Sabotaged and betrayed by their own Trial Maker, there was little that could be done to mend such a sour turn of events.

In the name of justice and clearing the name of Playero, the following documents serve as written evidence of House Playero's loyalty to the Chancellorship of Louis Delmotte. This previously classified information is presented not as an attempt to change a guilty verdict to innocent, but rather for two more distinct, critical reasons:

One: To distinguish political fabrications from the truth.
And two: To alert the populace of Regalia about trivial matters which were unanimously unmentioned during the trial for the sake of preserving national security.

House Playero was initially responsible for uncovering The du Brierust Controversy. After Xabi and Isidoro Playero brought to light Milena du Brierust's connection to the Lich Xilthruum, the former Countess was cornered into confession. House Playero has been working to protect the State from the Lich's endeavors for months.

House Playero has worked diligently to keep tabs on the treasonous affairs of underworld factions, more importantly including the growing Kathar guilds and Xilthruum's  execrable coven of miscreants, The Solifuge. In doing so, House Playero strictly abided by the legal parameters established by the Chancellor at the time, and, as agents of the Holy Divine Inquisition, kept close communications with the Guard Charter Adjudicator regarding permissions and boundaries.

NOTE: The purpose of revealing this information is not to raise alarms about William Arnyn, as that investigation was closed a long time ago. Rather, this information is intended to erase doubts about the intentions and loyalties of House Playero. House Playero has never once gone beyond its authority.

House Playero has been slandered and bogged down by the malicious intentions of many, most notably from enemies like the Tordove Tribe, and the suspected heretic, disgraced Admiral Abelhard Latimer. The public deserves no less than to at least be able to gaze on some of the evidence.

After House Playero received confirmation that Sanguine agents had infiltrated the Noble Peerage, former Chancellor Louis Delmotte personally appointed Xabi and Isidoro Playero to investigate the matter and report to him directly. Later, House Playero moreover discovered a plot by Xilthruum's coven, The Solifuge, to exact revenge on the city for the burning of the library. A powerful Kathar known as Lyra was identified by Xabi Playero as Xilthruum's right hand woman and leader of the Solifuge. The brothers Playero worked as the former Chancellor's personal informants regarding this ordeal for some time.

The documents for Exhibit 5 are being presented for no other reason than to serve as proof of House Playero's repetitive efforts at lobbying for Guard Charter centralization and a stronger system of checks and balances. These notions often resulted in members of House Playero, namely Isidoro Playero, being targeted by unlawful arrests and and political fabrications which were brought up to the Chancellor. Victims of constant harassment, arrests, and with later rejections from both former Chancellor Delmotte and the City Council, House Playero had no choice but to attempt to rally a vote of no confidence through legal means. There never was and never will be any evidence of House Playero attempting to seize the state through violent means, and this entire publication serves as ample evidence of this fealty.

For fear of losing his office to a legal vote of no confidence, Louis Delmotte sought to have House Playero eradicated. Members of House Playero were wrongfully kept imprisoned for days, tortured, abused, squeezed for confessions which did not exist, and threatened with death. Louis Delmotte had every intention to slaughter House Playero, and had Isidoro Playero not been able to get out a letter to the Regalian Judiciary requesting that limits be placed on Louis's ability to execute political enemies, House Playero would not be alive today.

[CRUCIAL PUBLIC INFORMATION]
All of the information above can be tedious to process, given the sheer amount of it, but here is what the public needs to know.
  1. Vampires, and more importantly, agents of the Lich Lord Xilthruum, have infiltrated Regalia's noble peerage. Allegedly, there are vampiric bloodlines which allow the host to remain undetected.
  2. There is an impending offensive from The Solifuge and its Undercity allies against the State.
  3. Abelhard Latimer is a corrupt heretic and is not to be trusted. He is also responsible for the illegal framing and political demise of ex Grand Arcanist, Alexis Morgan. For whatever reason, his debauchery has led him to pursue the installation of supposed "Leyline Constructs" which may aid him in whatever draconic affairs he is plotting.
  4. House Playero played a key role in several pivotal engagements over the last few months, such as revealing the Sanguine breach in the peerage.
  5. The Kathar guilds of the undercity are growing stronger and are working together with vampiric covens. The end of the Clickers is unfortunately not the end of  the threats that this city faces.
