Religion: (Shockingly) Khama faithful, favoring Ra'mut
〉〉〉 Appearance Information 〈〈〈
"Despite their initial appearance, Neri-ra is not an actual shrimp. They are rather a variant of insectoid Narim that looks strikingly shrimp like. Large black eyes protrude from their head, their skin patterned in shades of fleshy pinks and vibrant reds. A set of protruding antenna sway as they walk. They have a tail that bounces and sways with excitement and emotion not unlike a dog."
Eyes: Beady and black, seldom blinking
Skin: Various hues of red and pink with undertones of orange. Very shiny!
Hair: No Thanks! (Bald, Narim :-])
Height: 5'3 when slouching (almost always), 5'8 when posture is fixed
Body Type: Lanky, awkward limbs, fit but not muscular. Fast metabolism
Voice: Light and androgynous (think Crona from Soul Eater!) with an Ibeth (Ancient Egyptian) accent, although their accent is also influenced by those in the crew and whatever they pick up on in their travels
Additional Features: Light sensitivity/easy overwhelmed by excesses of light and color,
〉〉〉 Backstory & Plothooks 〈〈〈
- Swing and a Miss
Neri-ra was never much of a fighter. Even when kidnapped from their home and placed into a fighting ring at a young age, they often hid from combat and opted to help handle the aftermath; Caring for the wounds of those who protected them from having to fight on their own. This is how they met Khemenkau (another PC), who became one of their closest friends and acts as an older brother figure in their life. Khemenkau is also the reason Neri-ra follows the Khama faith, and the person who helped them pick out a new name for themselves.
- All Hands On Deck
After Neri-ra and Khemenkau escaped their lives in the ring, the two joined a group of fellow Khama worshippers (and elf/magic haters) the open seas in search of purpose and adventure. Here Neri-ra learned their love of cooking, and became the ship's chef and medic. While the job seemed simple and even useless in some aspects, Neri-ra is determined to make sure their new family is fed, healthy, and happy. This lifestyle also led Neri-ra to attach themselves to Ra'mut, Wayfaring God of Skill, to which they adjusted their name to fit generally into traditional Asha/Khama faithful naming conventions (as per 3/5ths of the crew being Asha, and them all being a family of sorts.)
- Destiny Deserter
Neri-ra once held their identity as a Hive Tender incredibly dear to their heart. Many people within the Hive Cities did not trust them or their families appearance, believing them to be terrible mutations caused by a mishap in the old Meraic Civilization's genetic engineering escapades. This did not sway the family away from their protective care for the cities ruins. However, when Neri-ra was kidnap, the framework of their mind shifted completely. Their purpose seemed to stray away from the duty their people were given, and this thought process was only cemented by finding and joining their pirate crew.

Hobbies and Talents:
- Cooking & Baking! (main passion)
- Medical Talent/Hobby
- Painting
Mechanics:
Heritage Mechanics
Narim Mechanic I - Narim can attempt to sense a discordant note from a deep gestalt consciousness with the living, when they focus on an Event/DM Character, to learn if they have dark/evil/immoral intentions.
Narim Mechanic II - Narim can Point Buy up to 3 Packs from Prayer Point Buy so long as they only have God Magic Dimension Alignment. Any other form of non-Mundaneness revokes this.
Narim Mechanic III - Narim have night vision and are able to see in perfect (mundane) darkness, never needing a light or some other sight implemented in the sewers or at night.
Narim Mechanic IV - Narim can manifest (or have) Wings (of specifically insectoid design), which while not in Combat, allow (Elytra) flight (including the use of Rockets). Combat or Ability usage immediately disables flight.
Narim Mechanic V - Narim can revert to a larval stage (not child-like, but grub-like) shedding their body, for 3 days. They can then change their arthropod species, and recover any lost limbs or remove scarring.
Khama Faithful Mechanics
Khama Faith Mechanic I - Any Believer of Khama, even non-Asha, gains access to the Remet/Savent Asha Heritage Mechanic regarding Living Metal. Living Metal is also called the Blood of the Gods among Khama believers and has great religious significance to them as a result. For more information about Living Metal, refer to the Asha Page. Additionally, Khama Believers, due to their access to Living Metal, gain the Living Metal variant of the Shapeshift Pack for free. For rules on Living Metal Shapeshifting, see the Page. Re-buying this Pack with Proficiency results in the normal variant being given instead, or the Magical variant if it is chosen.
Khama Faith Mechanic I - Believers of Khama can appeal to the Gods through a ceremony or in-game Event to deal Karmic justice to someone who has wronged them. These Calendar Events must be held with more than a few believers, but do not require Divinium. Staff should be notified of such an Event in a Ticket, and either bear witness to the ceremonial request or receive information about it in said ticket. The core function is that the faithful come together to lament about the injustices perpetrated by either a Player or Event NPC after the fact and beg the Gods to deal Karmic justice to them. For Player Characters, this will never cause permanent damage or death, but can cause them to become cursed, or temporarily receive debuffs. It will be very obvious to the target that the faithful of Khama requested they be punished, though the Gods may reject for a variety of reasons.
