The Regalian Trade Union was formed in 308 AC during the Clicker Crisis by Gochnipunchni Ver, out of many of his previous business affiliates through his other company, Gochni Investments and Imports as a resurrection of the ideals of many previous trade guilds (Eg. The Open Ocean Merchant Guild, the Regalian Trade Conglomerate, etc.) It comprises a conglomerate of Regalian businesses (big or small) who have rallied together for the common goal of profit.
It brings totally unrelated businesses together to discuss and participate in matters relating to the economic situation of Regalia and Regalian Empire holdings across the globe. Members are offered aid from other members in times of crisis, opportunities to participate in mercantile and business-related events, and a steady banner and community under which to do business. Members are expected to show the utmost courtesy to other members, and infractions of this will result in immediate expulsion from the Union. The Union is governed by a democratic council, each business capable of one equal vote towards any issue at hand.

Members of the R.T.U. are granted a vote at the table of the Board of Directors, who decide which direction to take the union in during times of crisis. They are also granted economic support, metaphorically "carrying" ailing businesses until they get back on their feet. Members also are given a delightful environment to engage in Business RP with other businesspeople, where they can lobby for support for things like a new overseas expansion or a greater access to opium or a raised price on the cost of flour. There are also plans in the works to make the Union an Approved Charter which will be applied for when we hit enough members.

♔ The Chairman of the Board ♔
The position of the Chairman of the Board presides over Union Meetings,
as well as acting as a "face" for the union, if needed. New Chairmen are
able to be voted in by the Board of Directors.

♕ The Vice-Chairman of the Board ♕
The Vice-Chairman is responsible for keeping the Chairman and Treasurer
in check, as well as organizing Union Meetings and keeping an eye on all
Union Members. The Vice-Chairman is appointed by the Board.

♖ The Chief Investigator of the Board ♖
The Chief Investigator is responsible for mounting investigations
on Union businesses on behalf of the Board. They work closely
with both the Treasurer and the Vice-Chairman of the board. The Chief
Investigator is appointed by the Vice-Chairman.

♗ The Treasurer of the Union ♗
The Treasurer of the Union is responsible for making sure that
all collective Union funds are flowing to the right places, as well as
lobbying for additional monetary support from the Noble Assembly

♙The Members of the Union♙
The Members of the Union are granted the privilege of participating
Union Meetings, as well as all the associated benefits. Each Union Meeting is attended to by
one or more representatives of each Union Member. New Members of the Union are
inducted by the Chairman of the Board.
