For the first four years of her life, Morgaine lived with both of them at a du Poncaire estate in the countryside. Life was good. Every story has a turn. When traveling to the Slumberwood Rumvalia estate, their carriage was attacked by Cahal and Morgaine was the only survivor. She ended up in the hands of her aunt and uncle, Selena and Damon. Merdoc, her other uncle, was also there. There was some negotiation between the families with who should take care of Morgaine, but ultimately with Selena unable to produce a child Morgaine was given to the Slumberwoods. Morgaine was enrolled with a tutor as soon as her ABCs were established. She was trained in military command, diplomacy, and light training in sword combat. It was drilled into her, at this point in her life, that she should not feel emotion. To feel emotion would be to fail. At the age of eighteen Morgaine was at a small family gathering to celebrate her birthday. Her uncle Damon took her to another room and filled her in on their family secret; they were all vampires. She was bestowed the same gift that very night. The first time she came to Regalia she was twenty four years old. She came to support Merdoc and Damon’s pursuits in Regalia. Up until this, she had never experienced doubts with her family before, but upon befriending Harlow and a chance curing, Morgaine’s guilt over her actions while in service of the Slumberwoods finally caught up with her. Morgaine fled from Regalia, abandoning her social life for the first time and hid with the help of the du Poncaire family she had just met and barely knew she had. The second time Morgaine came back to Regalia, she was now a du Poncaire. Unfortunately, only after a week of officially being home, the vampire occupation happened. Morgaine was locked in. During this time she became a Cahal and spent a majority of her time locked in Greygate. When the occupation was over, the man who infected her as a Cahal cured her. With new fresh wounds, she left Regalia again to escape the cursed city. With the disappearance of Florian, Morgaine had to come back and find her missing cousin. Upon her re-entry to the city, Morgaine was reinfected with vampirism, and complicates her goal to find her family.
@Nesstro i changed her crimson form, bolded and made it pink to make it easily seen EDIT: i was a fool. a foolish fool to have ever been fooled kind of fool. it was a much bigger update, i completely redid her proficiencies and backstory as well as changed her lineage. i am so sorry.
