Hello! I actually applied for staff a while ago, but later retracted my application because I thought there would be an infinitesimally small chance of being accepted (due to a few reasons, the most prominent being the race of my character). Seeing that you are now actively searching for staff, I thought I'd give it a shot anyway, if that's okay!

How comfortable with lore are you? Very. I've got a very in-depth knowledge of the racial lore, vampire lore, magic lore and other basics like that, and reasonable knowledge of things like alchemy, noble houses, areas in the Archipelago and human cultures.

Though my negative traits are obvious and perhaps condemning, I feel that my positive traits make me perfectly suited to the job offered and perhaps counteract the negatives.

Firstly, and necessarily: I am highly skilled in combat. Having trained for more than fifteen years as a wielder of the Ebhula (a blunt-force weapon commonly employed by the School of Ha'kix), I feel that I would be ready to take on most, if not any, opponents that I could be pitted against. I feel this is essential to the functioning of a proper House Guard.

Secondly: I have experience in war and in battle, and so am no "theory warrior" fresh from the academy, yet to take into hand their weapon or face battle. I fought long and hard in the Chrysant War, as many here in Regalia did - I risked my life on several occasions for citizens of the Empire, and would be honoured to do so again.

Fourthly: I have experience with nobility - I have talked on many occasions with them and learned thoroughly the way in which it is acceptable to behave. I am no longer an uncultured insect to be scraped off the bottom of your shoe - instead, I feel that I am well mannered and not unpleasant to talk to. I can provide reference to this effect if required.

Finally: while my species is not to be admired, I can certainly say that my culture and mindset is one of hard work - trickery, sabotage and stealing are not in my nature, less so than most others to walk the streets of Regalia. You can expect me to work very hard, and never to deceive or betray. Again, it is simply not in my nature.

I feel that I am very fit for this opening, and I would be honoured if you would consider me. If you are unsure, I would be more than happy to attend a meeting, interview or physical test in order to prove my authenticity.

I've checked over your character application and needless to say, it seems like you'd make a good fit. Your apparel would need to be adjusted while on duty. I personally find myself surprised you haven't put this character in the application to be a guard, I do however understand that one might not be too fond or comfortable with CRP, so this is understandable.
