Additionally, their racial height maximum is 7 feet and 5 inches, instead of the cultural height limit imposed by the other Ailor height limits. Versatile Instict : Racial Spell : The Bolven Ailor can change their Body Shape at will, depending on their levels of adrenaline. For example, when they are in survival mode, their physical prowess increases and their musculature grows to accommodate their need (this is however mostly just aesthetic). Hidden Stature : Racial Spell : The Bolven Ailor can change their height from their natural height downwards, or back to their natural height at will. The shortest they can appear as is 4 feet and 5 inches. This happens near instantly, but does not change the clothes along with them, while Physical Stat stays consistent regardless of height. Basic information Jarak has come to Regalia out of Wanderlust and excitement, leaving his home behind he hopes to find adventure and riches in a new and exotic land, he has only just arrived in Regalia and use to be a farmer, which has given him a boost to his strength and body type. Jarak was born near Kongehjem in the North Belt, his parents were farmers and owned a small reach of land which he spent most of his early years on, he had one elder brother who had left home many years before he had done so too, there is nothing much to say about his family apart from they have been living in the North Belt for many years. He once desired to make his parent proud, however after his mother’s passing recently, his outlook has changed. Visual Information He had murky green eyes with some brown mixed in. He had a dirty ginger hair colour which had darkened over the years. He kept his hair tied back loosely into an unkempt pony tail this connected nicely to his large beard. He had a pale skin colour contrasting with his red hair. Had many different outfits, however while working he would wear what you'd expect a blacksmith to be wearing. He stood at 6'5. Visual Information (Expansion) He was quite handsome but also messy looking, his eyes were a calming and relaxed shape and he had rather sharp features, his lips were only just visible underneath his somewhat unkempt beard, and his nose was medium sized. His hair colour was a dull ginger/blonde, he had originally been a bright ginger but the years had changed that. He was above the average height for his people at six foot five inches, he had a very muscular build but was also stocky, this gave him quite the presence, he had lots of body hair everywhere in a lighter ginger colour. He wore different things constantly, but usually chose what was most comforting to him at the time, however he always wore the same necklace around his neck which was adorned with a deep red gemstone. Personality: Option one The Core List Character Alignment: Neutral good Character Personality: Adventurer Character Religion: Unsure of his faith Personality and Abilities: Expansion Jarak often scratches his chin/head if he's nervous or confused, he will also often raise his left eyebrow when he is uncertain of someone, he will also always laugh during conversations, even if what has been said isn't necessarily funny, he will also usually shout ‘Eh?!’ if he’s shocked by something someone says. Jarak is skilled somewhat in metallurgy after helping out in a forge within Kongehjem, he also learnt how to fight during his time there, participating in athletic training too. He’d be kind hearted but if angered his rage is very difficult to subside. Likes: Going to the Inn, trying new things that get his adrenaline pumping, meeting new people and hanging out with friends. Dislikes: Snobs, Rats, letting his face get cold Life Story Jarak was born near Kongehjem on a small farmstead, they specialized in livestock, though mostly cows, giving the young lad a good idea of how to care for and treat animals... and to know when to slaughter them, only one event from this point in history (Age four) comes to the front of Jaraks mind. Intense screaming and wailing could be heard from the living area of their farmhouse as he was wrapped up in warm sheets within him and his brothers room, when he left the safety of his bed to see what the commotion was, all he caught was the front door slamming shut and his mother slumped against the wall weeping and wearing a red mark across her face. Their father left them and never returned, the reason? Jarak never knew until he was in Regalia, his mother hid the secret that she was the daughter of a slave Kathar and therefore disgusting to the majority of the Velheim population, with no man of the house the farmwork became even more tedious and rough, constant manual labour forced his body to grow. Because of his close proximity to the great city of Kongehjem the small lad would usually find himself wandering over when his mother didn't need him on the farm, this thrust him into society and allowed his charisma to grow exponentially, hanging out in the mud filled streets with his new friends he would always find some sort of trouble. Usually if there was some sort of savage street fight between children, Jarak was at the centre of it, however there were many times in which he found himself face down in mud because an older child came along, this eventually ceased to be a problem when he began outgrowing his peers incredibly fast. Around twelve, without so much of a word... his brother embarked on a journey across Aloria and never returned, on this day his mother was again flooded with tears, clutching onto her dark necklace adorned with a deep red gemstone, in his heart he was jealous of his brother, although he loved his mother, there was nothing more appealing than being able to seek out new horizons. Grueling and mundane tasks would await him in the years to come, toiling away in different smithies and still assisting his mother on the farmstead, by sixteen he was taller, more muscular and far more confident than even the adults around him, aging some years he could finally enjoy the delights of the many inns which Kongehjem had to offer and he loved it, developing a fearful level of alcohol tolerance and being known as the strong but loud and always drunk member of his group. The cold and unloving land of the North belt had to be left behind eventually, his mother knew that she would have to let him go eventually, and so with a weary heart she allowed him to buy passage south to the great city of Regalia, to perhaps find information on the whereabouts of his brother... and to find adventure, but he never could have realised what was to happen in his years there...
