Alais Crimson Form. Juno's shift, while still relatively recognizable to her original form, grants her an array of feline-oriented features. It twists her posture and joints to her fours, granting easier mobility from the ground (as distorted and uncanny it may look). Her teeth, now pronged and elongated into needle-thin layers, find themselves comfortably sitting within an easily unhinged jaw. The Alais' eyes, stretched and widened to the verge of visible discomfort, consistently swirl and waver with an irritated burgundy red save for the slots of black that stand for her pupils. Contrasting with the sickly tone of her flesh & nigh-perfectly matching her eyes, the Sanguine's ragged hair bears a striking red upon transformation. Juno additionally sprouts jagged claws in the stead of her nails, which are purely for aesthetic. Life Story Spoiler: A Ribbon Unraveled. Born to a Varran mother and an Ailor father, Juneau took her first breath of fresh air in their family-owned inn. The youngest of five siblings, she would soon learn to survive and ultimately win the constant battle for her parents’ attention. Raised in a household of slowly declining wealth, Juno grew to understand that riches meant everything. Her eldest brother often pushed her into the windows of strangers’ homes to take their belongings - given that she was small and quiet enough to do so. Even on the rare occasion that she was caught, none had the heart to beat a child or accuse it of burglary. Only with this and the income from the inn, her family survived barely just. As Juno aged, she yearned for adventure and independence. She’d begun to gather her own coin by taking advantage of what she deemed to be “sad old men”. If there were any consequences to her actions, she surely didn’t remain to find out. Over the years, the halfling had heard stories of Ithania and its romantic opportunities. Enthralled with the idea and exhausted of her demanding family, she broke off from her small city and sweet-talked her way onto a boat. Setting foot in the city of love, Joyau-vert du Nord, Juno began the routine that would conclusively stick with her for the rest of her life in one form or another; leeching and robbing. She remained in Ithania comfortably for five years before being publicly ousted for her cons. Unable to continue her work, she headed straight for the Crown City itself. Admittedly, though she spent countless nights justifying her actions to herself, the guilt had eaten away at her confidence. She pronounced that she could and would change; that no longer would she ruin homes - and that Regalia was the place to begin this new life.
