As well as this, being ridiculed by people who haven’t done anything to benefit the world. ╔══════ | ❖ | ══════╗ ╚══════ | ❖ | ══════╝ _______________________________________________________________ Spoiler: Life story Childhood: - She was born 286 AC in the small village of Abritter near Dandorf. - She was born to Madeline Burkhardt and Thomas Burkhardt and she also had 3 brothers and a sister. - She's always taken an interest to masculine things and by the time she was two she learned how to run, despite falling often. - At age 4, she started to run really fast and took an interest in climbing too, also taking a fascination to the animals she discovered and hunting them but could never learn about them as she found reading quite difficult. She was always a physical woman. - At 6 years old, she started taking an interest in the art of the sword but her mother never allowed her to train with one as she was to become a proper New-Regalian ‘woman’ and be Conservative. - At 9 years old, She was able to read better, dress like a proper woman and her vocabulary increased. Spoiler: Life story Teen Years: - Turning 11, she had grown accustomed to the looks people pulled at her whilst she was training herself to run and climb. - But at night, when people were asleep. She kept her training up, and pushed herself to become fitter and stronger and faster. - Her family one day went to celebrate Cader's Day, a glorious day for the culture. After around 1pm, her family was going to take a stroll in the park when Murielle got distracted by some little cakes decorated beautifully. - She took out her money, paid for it and went to turn back to her family, who have seemed to disappear. She ran off, in search of them, weaving in and out through all the strangers and climbing over different things. - After about an hour of looking, she sat down on a bench, giving up, slightly out of breath. This prompted an older man to approach her, telling her that he could help her find her family. Being a silly twelve year old, she accepted and followed the man closely. He led her through alleyways and back streets, the people there giving her nasty smirks and looking at her up and down. - Not soon after, she and the man approached a wooden door. It seemed scratched up, old and it gave Muri a bad feeling. She tried to get out of his grip that he had on her left forearm, but he was too strong. She started to panic and scream, this was the scariest moment of her life. The man took out a dagger, a sharp steel blade that glinted in the ever-fading sunlight. She tried her hardest to use all techniques she taught herself, her feet pushing off him, her other arm punching but nothing seemed to work, she was still too weak. - After a couple minutes of struggle and the man shouting at her, he finally used the knife, stabbing into her right forearm as she grabbed his wrist. He pulled it down, dragging the dagger further down. Leaving a gaping hole from her wrist to her elbow. She screamed in pain, alerting the people around her. This caused the man to let go slightly, Muri used the opening and sprinted off. She may not have been stronger, but she was faster. But she was becoming slower with the blood loss. - She broke through final exit, crumpling to the ground in front of spectators. Her light green dress now a murky brown from all her blood. Swarms of people crowded around, just in time for her to pass out. - A couple days later, she awoke in her bed back at her house. Her arm wrapped expertly and a lot of medicinal vials filled with strange coloured liquid on her bedside table. She went to move her arm, but a sharp pain rippled through it causing her to wince. She felt hazy, dizzy, but it did not faze her to go downstairs to see her family; who seemed to be disappointed in her for believing a random and causing her family large medical bills. - After the whole ordeal, Murielle kept feeling pain in her arm for many days, which turned into months. During this time, she learnt to hide it as to not make people worried about her. She also learnt how to do this with any other wounds she obtained from her training. - Turning 15, the memories still haunted her but with this, she trained harder and became colder; hiding her emotions. She was a stronger climber than anyone in the village and almost as fast as a horse. She kept this training up, through thick and thin but always wanted more. Some fighting skill, something to make her feel powerful compared to others. But she kept this desire hidden. Current (17-present): - A couple days after she turned 17, she decided this really was not the place for her to become her true self. In the dead of night, she could not sleep. Her thoughts to wild and her body too energetic. She got up, hoping for a midnight stroll, however, Her father’s sword caught her eye as it glinted in the bright moonlight that seeped through the windows. She took it down and held it in her hands, she nodded to herself and decided this was her destiny. - Of course, Murielle never wanted to become what her mother told her to do. She never wanted to become a woman who listened to her husband’s every word nor even be controlled by someone. She craved the power that she couldn't grasp in the tiny village. - Around about then, she discovered the city of Regalia, somewhere where she could join a guard charter and become someone who defied the standard of women from her homeland. - Deep in the night, exactly a week after her birthday, she snuck out, armed with her father’s sword by her side, a grey hooded jacket to conceal her identity along with a backpack filled with food and anything necessary to help her along the perilous journey. - Along the way, she discovered that life was extremely different to that of the village, it was tougher, meaner and definitely not what she imagined it would be - During her journey, she encountered orcs who harassed her for any coin, a new species she had heard of but never seen called kathar who always glared at her and tried to pickpocket her. And finally, Cielothars who were kinder than the others and offered her places of rest. which she politely declined. As well as many others. - Through the perilous travelling, she tried and tried again to use the sword but could not figure it out. If she came into any contact with someone looking for trouble, Muri has to use her fights and her athletic prowess to try and defeat them. Through this time though, the attempts paid off. And she eventually learned to guide her sword to become one with her. - The journey to regalia offered many falls, fights, and dangers which made her speed especially necessary. but eventually, she came to regalia, and is now known as ‘M’ to most. Her identity, hidden away. Regalian Life: -During this time, she had created a true life for herself. Friends, an amazing job as a house guard to Kreiburg and more experience as a bartender as well as studying animals. Rising the ranks and eventually becoming Captain of the Kreiguard. The Inquisition having being dismembered in her memory. - As time passed, she managed to lose her eye in an honour duel. Hurting both herself and her pride. Sick of being some runt that is taken for granted. She wanted more. -This is what she was meant to do. _______________________________________________________________
Alright @m00m1npl8yz this is what I have for you. Life Story It wouldn't be possible to train alone with a sword, because, well, there wouldn't be anyone to show them how to use it correctly. With how taboo Genevaud culture is when it concerns gender roles, the characters brother would not have given them a sword as a gift, since women doing anything remotely breaking the standard gender roles is impossible. Because nothing else is out of place, and it's mainly the cultural standards of the Genevaud that are breaking in the Life Story, I would suggest this. Have the character not train with the sword until they decide to leave Genevaud to become a guard. Have them steal the father's sword and then learn to train with it on their journey. I know you want to have the character portrayed a certain way, and I think it's great, but in order to do this they would need to leave the Genevaud culture. Mind you this is only a suggestion and you can approach it any way you'd like, but a woman in Genevaud cannot learn to use a weapon. Make the above edits in a color of your choice and tag myself once completed.

There is no explanation of where they learned Frontline Command in the Life Story, additionally I'd like you to explain why you are opting to begin using Frontline Commander for the character when they hadn't had any tactical skill before. You can explain it in a reply here and if we reach an agreement then you can add it to the Life Story. @Maeovika
I don’t want her to just be a soldier anymore. I want to finally be able there with the commanders and generals and actually have a say in where she goes instead of being tossed around like a rag doll. As well as this, I want her to begin commanding soldiers and hopefully make a difference in wars which hopefully makes more people want to hire her as a commander. @Wumpatron
