Rather than being reckless, she is observant and calculating. A stranger would see Alya as extroverted, but she is truly ambriverted. Whilst she doesn’t enjoy the presence of most, she can handle them and give them the impression she is kind and sociable. Internal | Internally, Alya is assertive. If she feels she is good at something, she won’t be afraid to show it. This doesn’t mean she is arrogant, however, as she will admit to something if she isn’t very good at it/has no knowledge of it. The only thing that terrifies her is the thought of permanently losing her sisters. After losing multiple people in her life, she has started to push people away more often, becoming overprotective of those she chooses not to. In addition to this, she is always doubting other people and herself, making her pessimistic. Relationships | To friends, how Alya acts can vary. If she thinks she can benefit from the friendship in some way, she will keep being polite to that person. But if she does not, she will show her true colours and be brutally honest with that person. To anyone that sees her true nature and continues to want to be around her, she begins to show more respect to them. Morality | Alya has no regard for the law, or anything that doesn’t affect her. Whilst she can see other people as corrupt, if their corruption isn’t affecting her, she’ll leave them to it. The law to her is just a restriction and stricter than it should be. She has no problem with breaking most laws, but torture and the like is something she isn’t fond of and prefers to avoid unless in need of information. Due to this, her morality would be neutral evil. ʟɪꜰᴇ ꜱᴛᴏʀʏ ❧ Alya was born in Daendroc along with her two sisters as triplets. Her mother died at birth, but miraculously the three survived. ❧ When the father of the triplets heard this news, he was livid, always blaming it on the trio. He didn’t want to live with the cause of their mother’s death and decided to give them to an enslaver. The triplets had no idea, and at the mere age of fifteen, were sold to a coven. ❧ They were used as blood thralls, the sanguines in the coven that did feed on them having unturned-feeding. The triplets spent ten years with this coven. During this time, they had countless near-death experiences, and could only count on each other. Alya still has scars from where she was bitten/clawed. ❧ One evening, the coven invited some allies over. After discussing some plans, they all had gotten fairly drunk. This left sanguines who didn’t have the un-turned feeding mutation to feed on the sisters. Realising that they would get infected, Alya and the sisters managed to flee. ❧ They assumed the coven would be hunting them down, so they waited to turn. The symptoms were fairly familiar to them, as they had seen multiple people turn in the coven base before, but they were still unpleasant. After turning and getting used to the infection, they hopped on a ship to Regalia. ❧ She spent her first thirty years living in Old Town with her sisters, learning Common and feeding from the dwellers there. Eventually, they met a group of Kathar and joined their tribe. This didn’t work out, however, as the group became divided and their base burned down. After this event, her sisters disappeared, leading to her becoming lost without them. ❧ During her time in the tribe, she met someone whom she soon fell in love with. They travelled to the Shadow Isles, which was a dream of hers at the time. She spent fifty years of her life there with him, owning a business that sold alchemical products. Here, she thought she could start her life over, but it wasn’t the same without her sisters. ❧ Throughout the years, the pain of being without them got unbearable. A few Kathar she met during her stay were travelling to Regalia, and so she decided to go back to the city with them to search for her sisters. Her lover wanted to stay in the Shadow Isles to take care of their business and live out the rest of his life. She promised to return once she had found her sisters, and departed for Regalia. ❧ Upon arriving to Regalia, she found a place with one of the Kathar she arrived with, and took up residence there. Here, she would start her search for her sisters. Although she has been more focused on her newfound allies, she hasn’t forgotten about her sisters. Searching for them has become more of a secondary goal, as she wants to focus on settling down again in Regalia before searching for them full-time. ❧ More recently, Alya has gotten engaged to a fellow Kathar, returning to the Dread Empire for a few months with him. She avoided the area she formerly called her home at all costs, not wanting him to discover her past life. Upon returning to Regalia, they formed a coven, and the search for her sisters ensued.
