Choose your Character's Religion Faith of Estel ↬ 7/10 Life Story ↬ Life began for Yuma in a small town in Daendroc. This town was moderately secure and possessed a low crime rate. The town mainly consisted of Altalar settlers but it was not unusual for Ailor to migrate here as well. ↬ Yuma’s childhood was by no means rough. Her parents cared for her dearly. She was also considered a golden child to her fellow peers in the town because of her father’s reputation as a skilled warrior who participated in many honourable battles in his time. ↬ Knowledge of writing and reading was drilled into her at the age of seven. Constantly having to study which was something she did not enjoy to a degree. Though whilst looking in her mother’s book cabinet she discovered scriptures that conveyed the use of alchemical substances and how to produce them. So in her spare time she played around with low level potions without her parents discovering her deeds. ↬ At the age of fourteen Yuma was employed into a guild of which her father was allied with. The guild trained few capable fighters and were in need of someone who possessed potential. Yuma didn’t really enjoy learning to train with weapons at has been practically been rookie level at best with all weapons she wielded. She brought up her quarries to the guild master at the time, who directed her to the medical unit that was being trained. ↬ Very few people wanted to be a medic within the guild. Since the training was very demanding due to the guild master himself training medics but also expected them to be able to fend off enemies as a last resort. ↬ Yuma sucked it up. She decided to be the apprentice of the guild master who was revered as the best combat medic in the town and a little beyond its borders too. Yuma struggled here however, not being able to wield weapons very efficiently wasted time for when her strict medical training regime started. This problem would persist for years. ↬ A few years beyond her enrollment into the guild she finally found a balance that wasn’t so demanding as being able to wield multiple weapons and use them at standard efficiency. She decided to take up the offer from her fiance at the time, Calgrith Jalscio. But things only got tougher from there. Now she had to juggle both her ability with one specified area of combat and her prowess in the medical field. ↬ Months after her decisions she participated in her first big battle. First began as a stalemate between her fiance’s friends and a bandit group who camped a little away from the town ended as a battle on the outskirts on a nearby bridge. Seven members of the rogue group met up with five guild members who resided in the town. Yuma and her fiance Calgrith were present, Yuma being the only medic there she felt under pressure and nervous. After a few threats back and forth the bandits initiated the fight which went on for a good hour. The guild members achieved victory but at the cost of Calgrith’s life. ↬ Yuma grieved for weeks after the passing of her beloved. Only spending a few more years within the guild until she decided to leave. Pursuing the nearest seaside village which offered jobs for medics. She remained here until she felt she learned all she could. Practically travelling around Daendroc to train young students herself to employ more medical tactics into battle. ↬ Unfortunately the memory of her fiance lingered. She needed an escape from her haunting visions. The only good solution she could come up with was a change of scenery. So she packed up her belongings after her mother passed away and relocated to the crown city of Regalia. ↬ She adapted well to city life, definitely allowed her a distraction from the occurrences in Daendroc. In order to further fit into life here she had her ears rounded to fit in with Ailor culture. She obtained some friends here too, all of them with their own special quirks. ↬ Currently in Regalia she goes around as a wandering medic to provide assistance in some circumstances. She also has her eyes open for any apprentices she can locate.
