    Life Story (Required)


    Childhood (0-15)


    • Siegfried was born to a soldier and a seamstress in the city of Calemberg with two sisters (Adelheid and Mathilda) in 267 AC.
    • The young man was a quiet, intelligent sort. Not too geeky or silent, but he did prefer the disciplined focus of training to the rabble of the city.
    • This training, specifically, was combat. Being the only son of the family, Siegfried was groomed from birth to be a soldier.
    • He excelled in elegant swordsmanship, being a particularly agile and composed fencer.
    • Siegfried often had a “battle of the sexes” dynamic between himself and his sisters, often competing in virtually everything from athletics, schooling and the like. It was, of course, all in good sport, and motivated the young Siegfried to work hard and push himself.

    Early Adulthood (15-20)


    • Siegfried decided to get work as a bodyguard and bouncer for some taverns. He was rather good at it, with his swordsmanship and combat capabilities .
    • The man one time blinded a drunkard’s left eye by smashing a bottle into the side of his face, when he started attacking customers.
    • Overall, he did not have much activity in his life beyond being a bouncer. Though he was quite content with it.
    • Another thing he did have fun with, however, was hunting Vampires with his sister. Albeit his family disapproved of a fighting woman, she neglected these wishes and joined the Darkwald Knights at the ripe age of 14. Siegfried was often invited to hunt Vampires by the Darkwald order as an ‘outsider’.
    • He soon proved himself favorably to that particular detachment of Darkwald knights, and ended up learning some pointers from them on hunting Vampires and a tad on Silven.




    Army Years (20-34)


    • Of course, the time for superficial games and the enchantment of childhood must come to an end. Calembergian law states that a family must provide at least one male for the military per generation. At age 20, Siegfried was conscripted into the army.
    • He was sent to Dragenthal during the Drachenwald Crisis in a futile attempt to stabilize the region. He saw firsthand how desperate and cruel people can be; like a cornered, wounded animal, almost.
    • The crisis was short-lived, and soon enough Siegfried found himself off-duty back home in Calemberg. He spent a few years caring for his ill father.
    • This was, of course, before the Chrysant War. Siegfried was assigned a squad, and they carried out orders.
    • He and his squad did just this. They carried out morally questionable orders, such as attacking spiritual persons and civilians. They were just that, though; orders. Fear of punishment kept Siegfried in line. Soon enough, he became dulled and nullified to the notion of battle and killing.
    • Over the course of his 5 years in Hadar, he developed an interest towards Alchemy. This stemmed from him looting alchemical textbooks from houses before they were razed to the ground. Overtime, he acquired many potion formulae. Although, he didn’t really know how to craft potions.
    • Eventually, he spent the last 2 winters of the war in a medical bay. He had come into contact with poisonous gas concocted by the Allar. It left him sluggish, weak and bedridden.
    • To pass the time, he had the military translator, essentially translate the formulae into Common. He dabbled in potioneering, creating some basic brews.

    Life as an Aberrant Hunter (34-50)


    • By the time he had recovered from the poisonous gas, the war was already over.
    • Siegfried was honorably discharged and returned to Calemberg, where for 16 years, he perfected his Alchemy.
    • Siegfried felt lost outside of his military career, unable to cope with regular civilian life. He craved the action and fulfillment of fighting. Therefore, Siegfried found his sister, whom was still in the Darkwald Order.
    • While Siegfried was far too old to join as an initiate, he did ally himself with them. He would go to use their counsel, advice and arsenal to become a fully devoted hunter of monsters.
    • He'd also employ the teachings of a Unionist Reverend for the purpose of learning Unionist rettist miracles for the purpose of protecting himself against darkness.
    • He’d trek across the Tigrunn forests, hunting aberrants by his lonesome.
    • Siegfried continued this lifestyle for a good 14 years.
    • And so the roleplay begins. . .

    Present Day

    • Upon arriving in Regalia, Siegfried encounters the People's Militia, a vigilante group. After chatting with the members, he helps them out.One night, he goes vampire-hunting with the People's Militia. Everything goes to hell; the major leaders of the Militia are kidnapped, leaving a confused and lost Militia.
    • Siegfried helps with an assault on the sewers in an attempt to save the leaders of the Militia. They fail once more.
    • To make matters worse, the Violet Order interferes and threatens to have the Militia charged with treason.
    • He narrowly avoids punishment.
    • Therefore, Siegfried enlists in The Good Company, where he continues his work as an alchemy and aberrant lore consultant.

    @Arendan Decided to change Siegfried's Athletics to Magical Knowledge, explaining it his backstory. I also changed his body features as a by-product.

    @Arendan I filled in some gaps on Siegfried's life story and changed his weapon of choice.

    @Arendan In the light of the new +15 ailor get, I decided to put it into Unionist Rettism to fit the whole "religious monster slayer" theme. I adjusted his backstory in accordance to this.
