Such as sashes, vests, leather straps, etc. Height: 5’10 · · ─────── ·· ─────── · · Alignment Lawful Good: Allannia is a fairly good person, in the eyes of others. She rarely does anything dishonorable and hardly tells a fib. In her own view, she believes it’s her duty to honor her people by never making a poor example of herself. While she can be rather arrogant at times, she doesn’t put other people down in the process. It’s a path that’s hard for her to stay on at times but she does her best. Personality Type The Visionary: She doesn’t live in the present. It’s always about the future to her, she is always preparing for the next attack, transgression, or disaster. When one talks to her, they might notice her inclination to start talking about how the way things will be, not how they are. She has many theories and ideas that, while may be good, can get a little disassociated. Religion Faith of Estel: If there is one thing in Ally's life that she is passionate about above all else, it is her love for Estel. She is a devout believer in Estel, and a loyal one at that. Ever since she was able to walk she has been taught about the Patrons, Talea, and Estel. While it’s not the only thing in her life to love, her faith has brought her out of dark periods of her life stronger than when she went in. While others may pray to Ellea to prevent their continuity from being threatened, she prays for the constant change of events in her life. · · ─────── ·· ─────── · · Early Years ~ Allannia hails from the beautiful coasts of Daen, her mother and father both were Maritime Altalar and stuck to the sea. Her mother, Ithuriel, was a martyr for the Faith of Estel. She dreamed of the Allorn Empire and the golden days of their proud race. And, that is what Allannia was mainly raised on. Day and sometimes night, Ithuriel would have her daughter studying Estel and preparing her for the thirtieth year pilgrimage she would have to go through one day. On her downtime, she spent time with her father on the ocean. As she got older, around age nine is when her father asked some family friends that also lived on the coast to teach Allannia how to defend herself. Every weapon possible didn’t grab her interest, and she was a stubborn child so if she didn’t have an interest in something she would put forth no effort. Finally, she was introduced to the crossbow. It didn’t require as much time and had a more aesthetically pleasing look to it for her. After getting a crossbow made for her, she spent a lot of time tinkering with it and figuring out how it worked. Her mother disapproved of her only daughter spending the majority of her time learning to fight. Important Middle Years Experiences ~ Allannia was twenty-five when her mother passed away from sepsis, she’d had an infection in her lungs that never cured. It poisoned her blood and suffocated her. To put it simply, Ally was devastated. When she was twenty-nine, her Father encountered some men out on a hunt with two of her four brothers. He thought nothing of it and came straight back home afterwards. Those same men had followed him home and in the night they ransacked their house, thinking they might find valuable items in the Altalar home. Her father resisted and was killed, one of her brothers was clubbed across the head and never got back up from the floor. She jumped out of a two story window to get away while they fought, and injured herself in the process. Ally stayed with her eldest brother who had moved out of the house long ago. At age thirty, she decided she wanted to honor her parents and made the pilgrimage to the Old Allorn Empire. She visited all the shrines of the courts, and she enjoyed the trip to the ruins of her people. It was beautiful, and a symbol of what could be for her kind. Then she went to the shrine of Talea, remembering what her mother had told her to do. After some hesitation, she laid down in the shallow waters and stayed that way for hours, gazing up at the ceiling until her heart chose a patron. She chose Ellea, since she was the patron that she believed responsible for the now constant change in her life, and destroyed the continuity of her solitary lifestyle. When she received the ring on her right pointer finger, she continued to lay there for a while longer until she felt ready to leave. Later Years ~ Immediately after the ring she went to Regalia. Allannia thought she might be able to find some of her people there that had not found their path with the Estel Faith. She believes that, maybe, by being in the heart of the place that holds the Crown of the World she might be able to help her Kin. After being in the city for a while, it shaped her and softened her heart a bit to other races. Having to be around them all the time, she felt less uncomfortable with their presence and more friendly. In short, being in the city helped her mature a great deal. She met another Altalar by the name of Kenya, for short, and learned parlor magic and how to make a phade gauntlet for herself. The two spent a great deal of time together. She enjoyed making connections and meeting people, so she stayed.
Please make the following edits: The additional ten points for being an altalar is a racial boost, not a point boost. I'd like you to specify which proficiency is being effected by this. Keep in mind this may alter your body stat total as racial boosts don't allocate to the body stat sum. Tag me once you've made the following edits.
I took it out of the total Points, and just have it as a separate boost. The affected proficiency is Parlor Magic. @JarrettdaCarrot
Howdy! I'm afraid the altalar boost can't be used for parlor magic points. That would require raw points from your age allocation. I'd add the racial boost to a different proficiency where all ten are allocated to the same skill. Make the following edit in a color of your choosing and tag me once finished! @SouthernComfort_
Here, this should help: You technically have 10 more points to spend, Altalar have 70 points, and a +10 racial boost to allocate. @SouthernComfort_
