    Personality and Abilities

First Paragraph: Wolfgang, at first glance, seems like a stereotypical New Regalian. Very proper, very focused on himself, and very focused on expanding his own power. He has a harsh tone with people, but even with his tone, has a more relaxed being when he is with people socializing. His posture is almost knightley constantly, reminiscing back to his days as a Viridian Knight, and he keeps it up by trying to be charitable and honorable. Every chance he can take to do some good, whether that’s for the Empire or the Spirit, he will take it. While him being honorable is true, he is obviously rash when it comes to decision making. He often seems like he does not think ahead at all, often drawing the ire of anyone who is unfamiliar with him.

Second Paragraph: Wolfgang cares about everything, almost to an obsessive extent. When he was being raised, Wolfgang was told to be a mindless drone, but eventually his training as a Viridian opened his mind up more. This constantly makes him think about whether he is right or wrong in situations, with him asking his mentor, Harald, and other family members to have them confirm his actions. He is incredibly fearful of bringing the von Drachenburg name down, and this shows when he is around Dietrich, where he tries to keep himself as emotionless as possible. With the disappearance of the only woman loved two years ago, and consistently breaking the code in the pursuit of expanding the Empire, Wolfgang decided to change by becoming a Curate and leaving his oath of knighthood. Even with his change in occupation and lifestyle however, his constant uncertainty about life creeps in every now and then.

Third Paragraph: Wolfgang is very much a people’s person but also someone who likes to be alone. He really loves his family and always will drop everyone for them. He finds solace in being around other people and helping other people out. He loves to be around his friends and tries to treat them as best as he can, though, always lower than his family. The one exception to someone he treated better was Natasha Celyreos, who he loved more than anyone. That being said about him loving his family and friends, Wolfgang often likes to be reclusive. He loves being around nature to get away with people, and often will leave conversations he feels awkward in.

    Fourth Paragraph:
Wolfgang has a mixed moral code. Before he undertook being apart of the clergy, Wolfgang very much did whatever he saw was fit in helping his family and the Empire. He broke his code constantly by torturing and unnecessary killings. Upon reflection of his actions against his fellow Ailor, he has felt guilt and decided to retire from the military life to become a Curate. This past behavior still haunts him, where it leaves a constant melancholy expression to him and also causing him to try to be more good by helping out with charity and trying to lighten the burdens of the von Drachenburg family.

    Life Story

Wolfgang Drachenburg was born on October 30, 281 AC to Karoline and Sir Johann Drachenburg. Wolfgang was rather obedient kid, but was considerably more soft than his cousins. Johann consistently punished Wolfgang for this behavior, which never fully worked. As a Viridian himself, Johann trained Wolfgang to become a Viridian, to which Wolfgang eagerly accepted. He loved being a knight and the concept of fighting for the Empire was one he really loved. During his constant training, he learned to love his family, but also developed depression as time went on. Then, his father went to fight in the Chrysant War, and was killed in it by a Slizzar, leading to Wolfgang’s eternal hatred for the Slizzar. Wolfgang was struck with grief, but his grandfather, Erlabald, pushed him into military service. At the age of fourteen, Wolfgang packed up his things and said his goodbyes, and went to join the Viridans.

Wolfgang fit rather well with the Regalian clique of the Viridians and was a pretty great fighter. His training took a while, but eventually he became a Paladin. This is where he began to fight for the Empire in several wars including the Ranger Crisis and the First Songaskian War. Eventually however, Wolfgang took up a position under William Howlester as a Captain for his guard and eventually as an head Inquisitor for the White Order, and a position he is unable to speak about to this day and courting Natasha Celyreos.

Wolfgang’s life was doing well until his actions caught up with him. When he was working with his friend, Bangsi, they executed a kid who was accused of being a Sanguine with no evidence. In their bloodlust, Wolfgang and Bangsi executed the kid with no remorse, finding out later that they were wrong about the kid being a Sanguine. He sought emotional help from Natasha, but she left to Ithania and went missing. With all the pain Wolfgang has felt, it started avanlanching to the point where Wolfgang rashly decided to join the clergy to get away from it. He asked the High Reverend, Claude du Pont, to absolve him of his oath, to which he did and accepted him into being a Curate.

Wolfgang spent a few years training as a Curate andwas assigned to work with Jürgen von Drachenburg. He spends most of his time trying to help around the Drachenburg Tavern and just trying to lead as many people to glory.

    One Note:
    • The application is solid until the life story. Just want to make sure that these things all either happened IC or you had approval from the players mentioned for them to have happened. Not sure if this was a previous character or if it is a renamed one. I believe you also use eventually a lot more than necessary.
