Fear is an emotion that she is not uncommon with. However even she am not immune to such a feeling, and when such is felt, she generally will refuse to show it through normal means. When faced with fear Vena will often stand her ground, cautiously so, and each nerve in her body is on edge and ready to flee if things take a turn for the worse. The few times she has faced fear and broken down is generally when faced with a being who is far more powerful than she could even begin to comprehend or imagine, or when one she cares deeply for and is in danger. The one prominent time she has experienced this that has since stuck with her is when she was face to face with the Empress herself. How would your character respond to experiencing Stress? Emotions generally are not expressed in order to keep up the heartless and efficient persona, especially since Vena constantly tries to weave so many people into her lovely expansive web daily. However this can also stresses her out significantly due to the threat of someone finally seeing through her facade and realizing the motive to her actions. Vena generally handles her stress through secluding herself to her books and studies, or simply taking it out combat-wise through practicing on some poor unfortunate training dummy or foe. She will seclude herself to her chambers for days at a time to cool off and calm down before emerging once more, generally with some sort of plan in mind. How would your character express feeling Happy? Happiness… Her moments of happiness are usually brief, only being expressed with a mischievous cackle or a sly smirk. She takes great pleasure when her plans go correctly or when another victim falls into her web of lies and partial truths. To be honest her life thus far is being spent by having fun in her own demented, manipulative way. So with that in mind… Vena almost always is happy. How does your character view Law and Authorities? Law seems to be the ever-winning protagonist of the world. It is a finicky thing and Arya can’t imagine how nobody realizes how useless it is to cling to it. Law may seem to be the safehouse, but, it always collapses the second the Lawless world decides to rear its head and bare its teeth. Relying on others to protect you is exactly how people get stabbed in the back. Oh, don’t even get her started on authorities… To her, if you managed to crown yourself and seat yourself atop of throne of some body of peasants, good for you. She thinks you at least deserve an ounce of respect. But don’t be surprised if someone comes along to try and snatch that crown from atop your head. To her you are a target, a lamb among the wolves of the world. You should always be prepared to defend your title if you feel the need to give yourself one. If you can’t… Well. Then you weren’t deserving of the title anyways, were you? How does your character feel about Races other than their own? Kathar and the Dread Empire are those who are unafraid of consequences for their actions and are prepared to take measures to combat them. Everyone who scolds her Lady for her actions and for her existence are simply meager, brain-dead peasants who are jealous of everything she has and can accomplish. From what she's seen Ailor in particular seem to have a special affinity for jealousy. The other races Vena'llia is indifferent towards… However the Ailor seem to be strange fools, willingly to blindly accuse others and latch to the single word of another without a moment’s thought of if they may be wrong. Then again she believes every race in their own right are rather strange. It all depends on the eye of the beholder. Though she thinks we can all agree that Kathar are disgusting dogs with a stick up their rear, always seeming like they have something to prove to someone or themselves. How does your character feel about Religion for themselves, and other faiths? There is only one true religion and that is those who recognize the power and beauty of the Void. The Void is what feeds and nurtures the world, and is what will embrace those who recognize it when they reach their inevitable end to their mortal lives. Everybody are merely mice within a world housing gods and their children. It’s best people accept that fact before they find themselves snapped from existence. Estel is the Mother, and will lead everyone to safety. She wraps those loyal within her arms and protects them from those who wish to do them harm. That, at least, is what Vena'llia believes. She is a fervent worshiper of the Faith of Estel and will blindly put herself at Estel's will even despite the current gossip of the Mother's state and wrongdoings. Her opinion on other religions vary differently, though she generally sees them as stubborn and prudent. Estel is all that she needs. How does your character feel about the Arcane and Magical in the world? Those blessed to be able to wield the arcane essences are lucky, and they should realize their luck in being able to do so, otherwise they simply put do not deserve such a blessing. Aberrants are a special case… Those who are truly lucky and fascinating are those who manipulate the void at their fingertips. How does your character feel towards their family? Arya believes she has no other family but the Dread Empire. She would give them her dying breath if need be, just to ensure that her Empress’ plans are able to come fully to fruition. Vena'llia's family is her life… Without them, she doesn't really know where else she would be. She likely would have made some horrible mistake and would be rotting away in some dark corner of the world. Her sister has helped her through so many ups and downs. She especially remembers the very day she was born. Watching her bless this world is a moment Vena'llia will cherish for all of time. What is your character's biggest insecurity? To be honest Arya isn't sure if she really has any of them. If she were to pinpoint one, it likely would be that she is secretly failing her Empress and is branching away from the plans she had for her. Vena'llia's greatest insecurity is that she has yet to fall for another man despite how long she has lived. Not even those within her home village could manage to make her swoon. She's beginning to think that she may be destined to be alone as punishment for some mistakes she's made in her past. What is your character the most proud of about themselves? She takes great pride in all that she has been able to achieve. Her web continues to ensnare and trap those who fall into it with surprising ease to the point where even she has been shocked at its efficiency. Arya also prides herself on the fact that she can twist those around her about her fingers, to the point where some even begin to crave her very touch or voice. What motivates your character to move forward and better their life? Some might have differing opinions on what it means to better one’s life. To her, all she cares about is aiding her Empress and her Empire, and helping to further along her plans as much as she possibly can. If she can move forwards doing that, then she doesn't see how she can possibly better her life any further. Her family and friends are those who helped her to move forward from the mistakes that she has made. Her sister is always by her side and she will forever be by her’s even if she would rather her be gone. Vena'llia looks to rid the world of the evil that is corrupting it and to aid any innocents that she can along the way. You will never know how simply giving a starving child a fruit can make them suddenly smile with a glittering brightness and innocence. What is your character's biggest fear? She will fail in her deeds to help her Empire. She will fail in her attempts at twisting the Void around her finger and manipulating it in beautiful, magical ways. She won’t be as powerful as she has been promised and destined to be. The woman has multiple fears that nag at her head… However she refuses to let them dictate her life more than they already do. She has plans that need to be carried out with a clean mind. She also carries around a small, flexible fillet knife so that if someone was ever to present her with a body part she may take interest in, such as a skull with it's front scored by varghul claws, she could skin the bone and keep it as a sort of keepsake or antique. However the thin blade also serves as an easy way to get through the guards without them accusing her of having a weapon. After all.. What harm can a little fillet knife do? Skills - The only major skill she has developed is a knack for calligraphy. She has spent almost her entire life studying the Void and taking notes on such. Having written so frequently she has developed a rather cursive style that to some can prove to be intricate and difficult to read. Likes Manipulation - Most of her time is spent manipulating those around her. She sees this as a way to aid herself, and so takes quite a bit of pride and pleasure in the fact that she generally seems to be able to do so with relative ease. She enjoys worming her way into communities in order to befriend those around her and gain their trust, generally so that she can gain information from within their ranks. This has proven useful on multiple occasions and she will always jump at the chance to sell whatever information she gains to the highest bidder. Magic - She adores the Void. She will spend hours on end studying spell tomes and closely following the teachings of her current mentor. In fact, Arya tends to honestly fangirl whenever she witnesses any sort of magic. She is determined to become the most powerful of them all, and relishes the day she can easily use the Void with so much as the snap of her fingers. Powerful Individuals - Some may find it odd in the sense that Arya generally doesn't fear people. When she may be face-to-face with a powerful sanguine or mage, rather than shaking in fear, she instead holds a sly and respectful air to her that she usually doesn't wear any other time. She respects the fact that the being can so easily instill fear into those around them. After all, it is one of the goals she holds for herself when she becomes older and more experienced. Dislikes Belittlement - She strives for power and so absolutely loathes when others refuse to show her even the slightest sign of respect. Anyone treating her as a lesser of whom she doesn't deem worthy to do such she will generally react rather violently. This depends on the severity of the case, although typically she will attack them in some way, be it bone singing or with her cane This will go on until she deems the punishment fits the crime. In the most extreme of cases she may even resort to using her magic, although this is extremely rare and only when in a location where she wouldn't draw a crowd. Witchbloods - Her first encounter with the green-eyed aberrants was certainly a foul one. It instilled a great deal of disdain in her for their kind. As such she will often become harsh and unforgiving when she is around a witchblood. Although she admits they have their uses.. They are definitely outweighed by their faults. There is one single exception to this and that is only because she has managed to put a collar and leash upon the man. Varghul - Once more she has had a bad experience with their kind. Namely she has yet to find an efficient way to deal with the powerful sanguine. She despises the fact that she is forced to somewhat watch her step and tongue when around them. In fact, considering how frequently she seems to be around the sanguine, the constant need to watch herself only causes the disgust she holds for varghul to grow even further. She is an Aquarius. She worked under her aunt Viessa from age six to twenty-nine, of whom was the local healer and magician of the settlement. It was here that Vena’llia learned everything she could towards the magical side of the world they lived in, even dabbling into becoming a magician herself. Young Adulthood Once reaching the age of thirty the Altalar set off on her journey through the Allorn Empires, studying and traveling through the ruins that so many following the Faith of Estel worshipped, eventually reaching the Moon Pools. It was there that Vena'llia decided upon continuing her travels and study, as she planned to help her fellow Altalar with the budding Ailor threat. Once returning to her settlement and family, Vena'llia planned briefly to reside there, aiding Viessa in her tasks of keeping the children content and families healthy. However she never found an affinity for alchemy or plant life, finding it rather boring, and thus it wasn't long until she decided that enough was enough. Now nearing forty-three years old, she set off for the great city of Ríë, eager to help aid her people. It was here within the capital city that Vena'llia was taught all that she now knows as to the world of secrecy and spying. She was taught how to wield her magics and a blade, how to move about without drawing the eye or getting caught, and most importantly, how to twist her words and position her body in ways to draw in even the most disinterested individuals. The woman was crafted into a skilled eye, sorcerer, and fighter for the capital over the span of a multitude of years, trying her best to aid in the Civil War, until the devastating Orc Invasion. She was not within the city of Ríë when the explosion happened, instead having been trying to deal with the aftermath the Orcs had caused during their rampaging slaughter to the capital. When news of it struck she was devastated, unsure of where next to go. She ended up finding herself within the state of Ríë Rivaëlla. It was here that she once more offered up her services, spying on the Ularen Hordes and relaying information as to their movements and foreseeable plans. Adulthood The Altalar was seventy years old now when the Ranger Crisis struck. She was sent out once more as a eye and consort, attempting to gather information for her state and prepare them for what may inevitably come to be. However in doing so the Altalar was also sent to scout out the Kathar as well and make sure that no actions were going to be held against them due to the fragile state of the Nelfin people. This did not last long before the Dread Empire discovered the Altalar and rather then slaughtering her, a Kathar mage by the name of A'eollaja Ello'janna decided to Dread Corrupt her. The once Altalar awoke from the horrifying experience with a slightly altered mentality and a completely new body. She was now a Medorr Saivale... However the Empire planned to put her abilities to use and didn't bother giving the newblooded a name. She served her new Empire and Empress diligently, refusing to let anyone accuse her of failure, and even took on a fascination with the ritualistic void abilities granted by her race. She studied and worked for years, practicing her ritualism, however it came at the price of her own fighting capability, as she was unable to practice as much with her sword as she generally did prior due to focusing on both it and ritualism. She no longer could sneak about like she used to, and as such, the woman relied more heavily upon her sly tongue to get her way. During her time spying for the Empire she was slowly given a name through gossip and whispers of her deeds. Arya. Present Day It wasn't long until the Dread Empire began to turn it's attention more fully towards the city of Regalia, and as such, their little agent was sent to the city in order to gain information and just overall learn how their politics and people worked from the inside out. This was in hopes to give the Empire a better idea of how to more efficiently deal with Regalia. She also was sent to help aid the budding group of Kathar residing within the lesser districts of the city. It was here that she met back up with her mentor A'eollaja, and helped the woman to gather up the Kathar of the city and create the society of Kathar now cemented in time as the Dread Loyalists. Arya forged her web of lies and partial truths within the city, ensnaring those she could both to aid her mentor and to aid her Empire and Lady. She even worked her way into a quickly growing coven of Sanguine for protection and information. The Saivale soon after finally gave her oath of loyalty to the Empress herself alongside her mentor and several others, and since that night, she has not rested without making sure her deals and trickery succeed. After all, the Dread Corrupted woman believed that she was a true Kathar, and she would serve her Empress until her dying breath. It took a considerable amount of time for it to happen, but then again, it was inevitable. Arya eventually ran into her sister of whom after a bit of distant staring her down soon recognized her features and tattoos. Because of this, it was finally given away that the Saivale was indeed a Corrupted Altalar, and before long she was captured during a fight due to friendly fire and restored to her normal state by the Altalar mage and priest Leironse Jacyrin. Vena'llia was in control of her body once more. After some time to get over the terror and trauma of the horrible acts she had committed the newly-restored woman left the Holy City to return to the Allorn Empires and complete the pilgrimage once more in order to re-obtain her sanity that she had lost when she had been enslaved to the Kathar. Once having done this she returned to those that she had befriended, determined to right the wrongs that she had done, and to end those who had done her wrong.
Here is my review: Personality and Abilities Rework some of your first paragraph so we get more of a feel other than 'she sleeps around/flirts'. How might she act around women, or figures of authority? Does she behave in any other form, or does she strictly flirt? What other forms of manipulation might she use? In your second paragraph, I would like for you to consider the following: Does the thought of her being a vessel of potential ever cause her internal strife? Does she ever get anxious because she has not been able to cast magic? In your third paragraph, consider if she ever gets lonely or if she ever. say. has occasional epiphanies on how lonely her life really is, given she has not formed actual bonds with people. And if she does, how they might show themselves within her or around closer peoples. Expand on your morality paragraph. How does she view corruption, figures of authority, Orders, etc? How does she feel about the criminal world or the lawful one? This paragraph has good base points, but I'd just like to see it fleshed out a bit more. Life Story Expand on your life story. Talk about the things she could've experienced for herself aside from the magical experiments. Consider any personal ventures she might've undergone, or how she might have chosen the prefect of pleasure as her main religious view. Only changes made were updating the spells listed and the link to the new spell list, plus a new set of bullet points for mutations she has for being a mage. I do have a question regarding her race though from some skins I've seen around Massive. Are black scleras cannon for all Saivale now? Or is it still only black scleras for Medorr Saivale, and the other two sects still have white scleras.

Massive overhaul of the character incoming due to both special permissions being revoked. Will tag when finished.
Overhaul completed. Aged up the character and modified her proficiency points to match that, as well as redirecting those made available by the lack of magic. Removed her Mage spellbook and replaced it with a Magician one. Removed her Silven mutations, as well as her magic mutations. Re-wrote her life story slightly to remove mentions of being a Mage and Silven. Magic is still mentioned multiple times, though her studies have now instead resulted in her being a Magician and Kathar Ritualist. Basically, for the life story, I just turned her to a parlor mage who is utterly obsessed with legit mages, and who likes to pretend that she is actually one for the sake of others leaving her alone out of weariness like she used to be. @HydraLana
Re-approved but two things to mention. 1) You're missing out on possibly having more Magical Knowledge as with 30 points invested, you should be able to know about 6 subjects though you only have 5 down. But ofc, that's a personal choice, I just wanted to mention it to you if you weren't aware. 2) Next time you update this application, you will need to add in the new Personality section to replace the old system of Paragraphs.

@QueenOfKarma Helloooo sunshine! Arya is not a half-breed and does not benefit from multiple languages for free from her parents. Given that she is an Altalar, please remove Daen or Kathar Dialect from her languages or invest another 6 points to free up one of the additional languages. Being corrupted from an Altalar to a Kathar does not grant Kathar Dialect as a free language. Please change the personality paragraphs from first-person, Arya answering herself, to you as the writer answering. Be clear and concise. I'm not quite sure what you mean in your life story that the Ritualism came at a cost of her ability to spy. Elaborate on that, if you would, as no part in Ritualism makes someone unable to sneak or spy. Make these changes in blue and tag me when you're done.
Requested changes made: Removed Daen from her languages. Altered the personality paragraphs from first person to third person.
