(Native, Family tongue) Spoiler: Basic information Extended Beau likes to travel around the world and he’s been to Regalia once before. Now, since his family is here however he feels inclined to come back home and settle down. He’s seen a lot out on the sea and feels he should come and help with them once more. He in the past has worked on trade ships and with groups of hired muscle, but currently he works in the protection business, as in guarding nobles. Beau is an anomaly to Regalia, as he does not seek any notable position or title, he really just wants to go along with the flow. Beau lives both with his family and in a small loft he has where he can be alone whenever he wants. Despite being born in Daendroc Beau has few good memories of the Santigo town. It being a pirate town he had many run ins with death, and as such tries to get Daendroc out of his mind. He was born in a small fishing shack to Fawzi and Tyliss, his younger sister came a few years after him. Right now Beau simply wants to gain the trust of his noble house and prove that he is true to their mettle. He wants to really let them know that he is someone they can count on when they need anyone. This may also extend into him growing to fight crime in Regalia as he is somewhat used to a life of defending. Visual information Eye Color: Yellow Hair Color: Dark brown. Hair Style: Long Dreads. He has grown small tufts of hair that almost barely resemble facial hair and he has not filled out his face much. His eyes are small, they are slant and almost always seem to be glaring. The skin on his face looks well weathered with sea-spray and the waves of water. His forehead is of average size. He typically carries off an expression like he is disinterested, filled with ire, or simply has no emotion. He does however smile frequently when speaking. His hair is in a bunch of dreadlocks that tie back and are generally out of the way, a few tufts coming out over his shoulder or ears, and his hair color is naturally a very dark brown. The easiest way to express Beau’s body is that it is used to strenuous work from his employment and quite obviously has tufts of hair around his fairly muscular body. It is a medium frame and his skin tone is quite dark brown very close to black. He is six feet six inches. Due to his amount of work he has heavy amounts of muscle mass and an average amount of body weight. His body has a tattoo that spans around his arms, shoulders, back and chest of various creatures of the sea spanning their lengthy bodies around him along with various other abhorrent terrors of the sea, their style is reminiscent of late Ceardian tattoo styles mixed with Orcen styles. These are however hidden by his fur. Beau has little to no interest in fashion. He wears simple clothes bought for him by his father and mother. When he is casual he goes with a rough tunic, a blue scarf bought by his father, and pants. However, he enjoys and relishes in wearing the house armor of Sorenvik, and is almost never without it. He has an amulet around his ankle of a charm to the god Erai. He usually prefers dark green or anything that reminds him of the sea. He carries a standard sword that is within the permissible limits and on occasion a backup dagger in case he is to be disarmed or betrayed. Typically, he always has some siggs and booze on himself. He now also wears a gifted green hat given to him by his father. Beau changes his vocal patterns quite frequently depending the crowd. He speaks common in a somewhat broken state, and then other times speaks it quite well. He enjoys to say certain words in common like Aye and Hail along with calling people Kin. His voice is usually fairly deep and well spoken. He can speak common, Vashkularr and Zcorr. He hopes to learn a new language as well. Personality and Abilities Perceived by others: Beau is someone who from the outside view appears to be crude for his inability to adapt or ignorance, sometimes a brooding individual because of his cynical comments and ways, or someone who has a strong want to repent for their feelings and opinions as he thinks back to his mistakes and misdoings. When he meets others there is a visible distance with them until they’ve shared a drink and one might feel uncomfortable at his defensiveness which might appear like paranoia and standoffish and his un-gratified mistrust which can further develop an emotional barrier. One might also see him always with a drink in hand or smoke coming from his nostrils because of his fairly addictive personality. Others looking from the outside might see his undivided loyalty to friends and family along with his willingness to act out in selfless manners. People may watch him act in a protective if not aggravated sense when his friends are in trouble or made fun of, however they can notice how slow he is to anger. People can also notice the diversity in his friend groups as he lacks any such means of judging someone based on their identity, rather by their character as he has a great tolerance and sympathy to those around him. Along with this people have come into aw with how he is overly merciful, yet also fearful in his unyielding and inability to stop. Sometimes his other traits are overshadowed by his intense gregariousness, as he always likes to talk with people wherever he is. Sees himself: Beau is not one completely in tune with his emotions, instead in par with his addictive personality he feels it is best to drown it away with a drunken stupor and stop remembering. He notices and feels his intense paranoia, and this paired with his alcohol makes his depression worse and only suffers with the drugs he uses. He has met many people he’s not been able to put a lot of trust in because they just left him or mistreated him. Being on the sea for a while kept Beau away from his feelings, and now that he has returned to the land he cannot seem to find an outlet to relieve his sadness other than booze. Despite recently connecting back with his father, Beau still feels estranged and there are certain times and moments where he will feel like he is not as good or that he is not worth as much as his father due to how much his father has accomplished. Because of this he feels the need to strive to be better than him, possibly quitting alcohol--but then he goes back to the bar. He questions his own morality, because there are points in which he has done some things in his past where he deeply regrets his actions and there are other times where he wishes he dropped his false morals. However, because of the variety of people he meets he always has someone to drink with or talk to about his problems, so he sometimes puffs out his chest in order to impress those around him with his boldness or strength. Sometimes he is on shaky ground, but everything throughout the past, like his drinking problems and his inability to attach to his father he notices this and feels a confidence in his character to outlast the tests of time. Beau can recognize his talents, and he knows his way around words, despite all his flaws he understands his incredible yearn for romance, even though he understands they mostly end short because of his stresses. This want for another person might be due to the fact that he needs someone around him to know he is worthwhile and also have someone whom he can trust and confide in. This is supported by his inability to overcome the fear that one day he might die single and alone. Friends & Family: Beau, while extremely mistrusting at first, once with family and friends can open up and trust those he is close to fairly willingly. With people he shares a drink with he could consider a friend and suddenly be trusting them with his coat. He also quite enjoys to strike up banter with friends in manners he would not with strangers, he can be a lot more inappropriate or rude towards friends and family once he understands their boundaries. Over his friends and family he is extremely protective, not wanting them to have bad things to come with them, he is not over protective, but still very protective of them whether that be from harm or bad people. His gregariousness will stay about the same with friends or families, but he will become a true story teller, easily opening up to them and giving them personal details as he lets his guard down for once when with family. However, having Beau as a friend can also mean that he also judges them more harshly for wrongdoings or character traits that don’t work well with him. With a lover, Beau truly looks at himself and begins to reflect, and this requires him to communicate a lot with the other which might make him seem needy, which he is due to his fears of abandonment. However, he makes up for this by being extremely creative as he is one helluva romanticist. Morality: Beau does not know how to define his morality himself as he mainly acts out on instinct rather a define set of code. He usually changes his greatly flexible morality to the social climate and/or society that he is living in. That is how he has survived. When he was working under a captain if they wanted to murder someone he would have very likely gone through with it even if he thought it was wrong, but he stretched the inner linings because it was his captain. However, in Regalia he has changed in a sense that he no longer had much tyrannical and cruel people surrounding him and has had a positive influence with the people he hangs around. So as such, he has changed it to reflect what they believe. Beau is more in the middle and cannot be defined plainly as good or evil, instead, I would say he is deeply conflicted between sides. Sometimes he wanted to steal and pillage without his morality getting in the way, and other times he felt mixed with his emotions towards doing things like that, and declared it as wrong. However, it is constantly changing with whatever is going on. Beau likes to look upon evildoers merely as those who have fallen and can be redeemed no matter the crime, or at least most of the time. He is much more merciful than he should be and will be less inclined to chop someone's head off and torture them to instead sit down with them, talk to them, drink with them or sing with them--however this does not make him someone to get light punishments. He is merciful to those who he believes are deserving, and those who are not by his own definition therefore deserve none if they cannot be reclaimed. Spoiler: Extended Personality View of the world: Beau views the world like someone who is standing outside from a window. He enjoys to watch it go by, what happens with time, and how the things around him change. Sometimes he wishes he could disconnect himself from his own reality and take the shoes of another, walk a few feet and see how they feel about the same thing that he saw. He definitely understand the concept of perception and how everyone's paradigm is different. This is one of the reasons he likes to speak with very many people about the same subject because he can learn more from their wisdom on the same thing and possibly change how he views it. However, this also implies to why he sometimes feels depressed and mistrusts those around him because he hears all kinds of stories and honestly, sometimes thinks about the darker parts of people's lives. Despite claiming to be a unionist, spoiler, he is not. I do not even believe Beau worships a real god. The closest thing Beau worships or deities is the sea because she kept him alive whilst he went through so many perils on her, he grew into a man through her waves. She pushed him to be great and allowed him to view a lot of the world, and for that he is grateful. Beau fills extremely connected to the sea, and yearns to go out everyday and look at her waves lap against the rocks. Despite people paying such close attention to the last names of others and how much materialistic value someone has Beau is almost blind to it. Beau judges people almost essentially on their character alone, so the difference between Noble and Commoner is not that different for him. He’s had high up people be mean to him and he’s had the lowest people talk bad to him. He judges both equally. Beau feels very privileged to still be alive after traveling on the sea. He almost has an insatiable thirst for knowledge after surviving the journeys. He however, once again ties back into looking from an outsider view, and doesn’t exactly place himself anywhere on the spectrum, he just is in the world, he doesn’t fit above certain people or things. He just is. Spoiler: Weaknesses Overly proactive mind. One of the reasons Beau has problems with his distrust is because his mind likes to take him places he does not want to go, and sometimes he just cannot help but delve into the rabbit hole and ask, “What if…?” This mainly affects him during stressful events or times when he is not feeling very secure. This can become quite a burden when he is drunk or feeling depressed. Anuptaphobia. Beau is someone who has had a very little amount of time in order to settle down with anyone. While he is only 20, he has had limited access to sexual/romantic encounters with females--typically where he landed from the sea for a little bit in his life and then left them forever. So he has developed a fear of never being able to stay with a woman, one that he knows is irrational, but still has despite that. The only relationship with a woman where he has had a relationship that have lasted longer than a few weeks is with his mother and sister. That fact scares him more than anything. Spoiler: Personality and Abilities Extended Whenever Beau cannot break the ice with someone or has a lack of thought for a question to ask his almost instant go to is "Mmm", ordering a drink, or offering a sigg. Beau is an apiarist, and he actually keeps a hive of bees for their honey. He also has Hadarian beetles which he is breeding for fun along with a puppy named Balenski. He uses this honey when he makes siggs, and he also turns out to be a real good gardener. He enjoys horticulture quite a bit, and would like to bring it into his life some more. For the most part of his life Fawzi was not really there for Beau as a father and he can really feel that estranged the both of them. However, Beau still feels that his father wishes to connect with him, albeit a bit late, he is willing to accept that as an equal, rather than his son. He loves his father, but cannot forget the times he was not there. Tyliss Kra’zzla @IGutThaMidasTouch Tyliss is the person who watched Beau the entire time that he was without Fawzi. She was the one who went through his major experiences like learning to walk and that. Growing up she spoiled him, but still dealt with him in a very stern and firm manner. Beau is willing to open up much more with his mother because of what she went through with him, but he still likes to have a good amount of distance from her much like with his father. Nala Kra’zzla @HeyoBiggum Nala is someone Beau somewhat remembers, but kinda does not really. Sure, she is his younger sister, but he left to the sea at a young age and remembers only her very childish side when she was really young. Coming back home in drawn out intervals he missed much of her growing up out of a kid. Now that he is back in Regalia and her being a single mother he feels as if he did not protect her well enough, and really wishes he could have come back sooner to save her. There is more family but these are the only ones he has met at this time. Close: Ospery T'almer @averyness Now simply a woman who had attempted to con him, Beau no longer wishes to put any time into her apart from having her as a friend and possible information source. Anise Malady @AlektoWolf A woman with whom Beau by chance encountered on the very streets of Regalia whilst being off duty, Beau has spent less time catching crime and more catching time with Anise instead. She is someone who has caught his interest and someone who has held it. He's grown especially close with her, even performing a Blood-Bond with her. Becoming close to Beau is a hard thing to do. Friends: Nilth Mustang @MrSnowbal Someone whom Beau has shared quite a few drinks with, the two seem to be from similar walks of life as Beau puts it, and wishes to get to know him better. He enjoys the company he's shared with Nilth like when they all had a Skagger Vodka challenge. Juribrami Sanmaro @mayino Juri is someone Beau likes to speak to and share views on the world with because he finds him to be a somewhat wise, interesting and exotic person. Generally he has sought him out just to speak with rather a drink or anything of the likes. Beau was born on the night of December 25th, 281 AC Beau was born into the pirate town of Santigo, Daendroc. Childhood (1-10) Beau spent most of his time with his mother because his father spent all his time working In the town of Santigo he would frequently find ways to cause trouble and his mother taught him a lot about what he needed to know to stay safe On a typical day his mother would send him outside telling him to stay safe, but he did quite the opposite as he roamed around the town full of pirates picking fights. Beau met an elder orc in town and spoke to him, learning the basics of his culture, language, and the arts of Graklak. By the age of ten Beau would begin to get on ships and leave his family whilst voyaging the open ships on a trade ship along with the elder orc as a guide, learning how to sail and fight. Adolescence. (10-20) Beau would go all around the sea learning the trade of sailing and defending shipments along with hard menial tasks. He spent most of his time with Orcish crew and proceeded to learn Graklak and Vash. Throughout these trips Beau would marvel at the various ports of places and the flora/fauna he could see. Along with this he saw beasts in the sea, causing him to shave himself and tattoo his body. Beau had been taught how to speak common and Orcish better, along with his general combat skills as they issued training with grappling and boxing. Beau transferred through many ships, each were either defending trading ships and doing menial labor, to working on shore leave for a few weeks before joining back. After many sails on the sea Beau would come back to Regalia once his orcish tutor had passed away on the ship. Now in Regalia he has become the guard to a noble house and an affluent gardener. Adulthood (20-25) Spending time as a guard to both nobles and the common rabble of Regalia, Beau had learned how much he disliked general crime and abhorred the idea of it. Currently, he spend most his time working with cigarettes rather actually guarding people. He has been in and out of San Velen where he overlooks various Varran families that work a few Tabacca fields he owns, finding himself better suited to entrepreneurship instead of guard work.

You can only know two Languages plus Common so please correct the Languages section to reflect this. My Review: Being 25, he can only know two languages so please remove one of the three. His Life Story is a bit odd in how it ends off on considering he is a Yarran Varran: While it is not explicitly stated anywhere in lore, I believe this runs somewhat contrary to their role in Varran society and certainly also runs contrary to Regalian prejudice. Please change his stated "few Tabacca fields" for one as I do not think, in a region likely made up of Daendroque Ailor and likely other Ailor, a Varran would be able to properly accrue the finances needed to own more than one plot of land, let alone whole fields of Tabacca.
