''Étiquette et des bonnes manières divisé les classes.'' Etiquette and manners devide the classes Crest: The crest of the du Polignac family, was gifted to them by a noble Ithanian family. It displays two sceptres, one for the Unionist church also called the 'main de Justice', the other for the power of the family. The animal on the crest is an eagle, standing proud and tall as Ithanians would see themselves. Colours: The colours of the family are gold and white, yet this won't be very viable in their appearance, only on crests and a sash on clothing. Politics: The du Polignac family has always supported the Ithanian goverment, even in regalia, as they side with the more pro-ailor liberals of the Ithanian lobby. Family Trade: Besides architecture, the family has also been active in the real estate market. Château de Maisons This château is the only major propperty the family holds and can substain, here the bulk of the du Polignac family lives. Gracefully surrounded by gardens designed by the Matriarch, the château is positioned in the lands of Vixhall. Regalia: Haute Road - 15 Tucked away in a corner of the Ithanian district, this grand house is the private office and home of the Matriarch of the family. Haute Road - 8 The house that is currently being transformed to welcome the Ithanian Lobby. Besides these propperties, the family has more in the city yet non in private use. [du Polignac family.] Butler The highest ranking official servant, responsible for running the house. Also in charge of all the other staff, will be in charge of hiring, firing. Will prepare the other servants for certain events. [This is a paid position, seeing it has a heavy workload.] Lady's Maid / Valet The private servant of the matriarch or patriarch of the house. They are besides companions of their masters, the once who perform secretarial duties for them and keep track of their agenda. Governess A position for a schooled lady of the middle class, the job of the governess is to care for the younger girls of the family, teaching them and accompanying them. Guard The guards main objective is to keep the family safe, be this by accompanying them, escorting them or simply guarding the house of event the family attends. Guards may only be male.

The du Polignac family is a very Ithanian centered family, meaning that although the matriarch lives in Regalia, still uphold the Ithanian ways of living. This results in very strict rules. The family's main focuss is around Architecture and Realestate, yet since several of their members have been married into nobility, their ways have swayed more towards the court aswell. What I personally expect from a du Polignac: - Think of the family, than your character. Most of the family members will be drilled into keeping face. This means that every bad view on one of their members, could result into a bad view of the family, something that has to be avoided by all costs. - Ithanian, Ithanian, Ithanian. Northerners? Oh by the spirit, we didn't think there could be a culture with so little class. Just as those regalians. The Ithanian culture and mindset has a very strong presence and a very important place in the family. - Diplomacy before all. ''Haven't they tried talking..?'' Fighting is never the first solution. A tad barbaric. - Manners. ''Did you see that? She didn't even bow.'' Manners are key in the Ithanian court, therefor the family upholds their strong manners and rules at the Regalian court aswell, although it is barbaric compared to their beloved Ithania. Overall: We're Ithanian to the core, uptight with old mindsets of Ithania. We're a known family in Regalia, although no part of nobility, often invited or a welcome sight to see. This means she is expected to suppress her natural instincts and conform because of her Ithanian heritage and relatives. She longs to learn sword fighting and to be just as rough as the boys. She envies their freedom to do as they please and it looks so fun. While she is forced to watch in secret, as its not proper for a lady to see such things. A lady’s sensibilities are supposed to be delicate but deep down Elisebeth is far from delicate. She enjoys a good challenge to her intellect and wit. She considers someone who can that a rarity and worth her time. Her favorite way to pass the time is with something that requires thought and cleverness to work through. She’s extremely observant and notices details most people never see. This makes it difficult for people with unsavory intentions to trick or lie to her. While she doesn’t speak her mind often because that would be considered unladylike and improper, when she does no one can dispute her logic. Username: EndersGameboy RP Experience: One year on Massive, I started in July, but I have been on roleplaying servers for about two to three years. Characters: - Beni Yahdga - Nathaniel Astrophell (Deceased) - Anthonin Valeur - Characters Name: Francois du Polignac Character idea: Francois is fourteen, the only child of Charles and Jeanne. He has always been very intelligent and clever when it comes to solving problems, but overall he is an all-around-guy. This has lead him into confusion about what he should pursue in life. His father has pushed him since a young age into learning to become an architect, to continue the family but Francois doesn't feel that is his goal in life, but as for what his goal is, he is unsure. He's tall for his age, with his gorgeous blue eyes, perfect skin, bright blonde hair, athletic build, and overall stunning physique, he is considered the jewel of his generation. Personality-wise he is a very happy guy. This is mostly because his parents along with many others adore him for him. Besides his father's intense pressure on his career, Francois has no real source of stress. This actually doesn't make him feel superior to everyone else, rather, he feels as though he should share this happiness with others. This has made Francois a very sincere person. Despite all the above, he feels insecure about himself. Being "perfect" makes him feel fake. This has taken away largely from his confidence in doing things publicly. When confronted with these problems, he generally turns to his mother for guidance, but never his father, he doesn't understand in Francois's eyes. (I originally thought it was a maximum of 150 words, and I could only do 310, so I had to cut it down, until I realized it was a minimum of 150, so I killed myself and tried re-doing this, but I would like to say the previous thing was more detailed and nicely written. Along with this, I would like to say that with/and if I get to do the character app, I would include a lot of weaknesses and faults to go along with these "perfections".)
