We haven't had a character study in a while and who doesn't like one (stolen idea from @MonMarty, sorry art man). I found this great list of questions while stalking Pinterest, so no I didn't make these- I don't have that type of ability as to make questions unless they involve when's dinner.

    1. How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?
    2. How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?
    3. Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?
    4. What type of disciple was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?
    5. Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
    6. Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?
    7. What was the economic status of their family?
    8. How does your character feel about religion?
    9. What about political beliefs?
    10. Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
    11. How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?
    12. How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?

How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?
Czys has a quite distaste for her father due to his part in the decline of their family. She would refuse to speak with him, or have any contact with him.
He was the cause of her being seperated from her siblings and her mother.

How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?
Czylle barely knew her mother before she passed away. They kep in touch whilst she was a child via letter, but otherwise, she had no strong feelings for her.

Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?
Three siblings. Hamelin, Ida and Solaine. Czylle has a love for her brother that can not ever be recreated. He is everything to her, and she would do anything for him. Say jump and she will jump. She respects him, relies on him.

For Ida, she sees her as a wannabe mother figure and she hates it. She despises that Ida feels/felt as though she needed to become involved in her life.

For Solaine, she never had any strong feelings for her, good or bad. She respected her, but she also became very stressed and frustrated with her at times.

What type of disciple was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?
Strict. Czylle was raised on a farm in Anglia, and was taught hard work and obedience.

Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
Not at all. It was far from opposite with her adoptive family. The caretakers from her family likely watched over her closely, but she was never raised in a sheltered life.

Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?
From her direct family, yes. Due to her being separated from all of them at a young age, Czylle could not often understand why she was there. Albeit, she received the affection from the couple she lived with on the farm, but that rejection still lingered until she rekindled her relationships with her kin.

What was the economic status of their family?
Originally their family had been crippled by debt. Currently, thanks to Hamelin, their family was growing and succeeding once more.

How does your character feel about religion?
Outwardly Czylle is a unionist and would never speak ill of the faith in public.

    What about political beliefs?
She leaves the politics to the politically minded. She really has little say on the matter.

Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
Book-smart would be the best way to describe Czylle. She is a lover of reading, fiction and nonfiction. What she learns and what she knows usually comes from books she has read throughout her years.

How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?
Czylle sees herself as switched on. She knows that she has had an education but believes that there are much more intelligent people about the place, and she wouldn’t class herself as one of them.

How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?
The womans dictionary is likely lacking, in some larger, fancier words. She’s quite direct with how she speaks, choosing to say things as she means rather than flirt with elaborate sentences and the likes.

Did they like school, if they went?
She currently attends the combat school of Griffer, which she certainly enjoys.

She was otherwise taught at home.

What did they study if they went to school? To what level?
Griffer combat, and is currently in her fourth, bordering fifth year.

What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like and dislike about it?
Her goal is to be a woman of the military, but her current profession would simply be a student, perhaps bookkeeper of her stores finances.

Did they travel? Where? Why? When?
The largest amount of travel Czys has gone through would be the trips between Opper Calem, to Anglia, and then to Regalia. The first trip was to deliver her to her adoptive family. The second was to join her brother in the capital.

What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?
Czys disillusions are with herself. She believed she could be much more to her family than what she is today. When she arrived in Regalia she had a bright eyed view on everything, and set herself unachievable goals. Now she sits dissappointed with herself.

What are your character's manners like?
Respectful. To those that she needs to be. To nobles and authority, she can be quite proper. Though to those that do not really matter to her, Czys comes across as very abrupt and rude.

    Who are their friends? Lovers?
Czys keeps very few friends though as she becomes older, she’s began to seek out those she believes she could keep very close. Augustin Reinard, Erwald Ravenstad and Garon Sfiso could be considered the people she values most. There are also various others, Klaus Emerik Kiel for example, who she gets along with. Her lover is, infact, Erwald Ravenstad which she currenly courts with the intention to marry as soon as they are able to gain permission.

What do they want from a lover?
Czys believes she has found everything she ever wanted in her lover. Support for her goals in life, her personal interests. Companionship, affection, and moral support. Her lover offers her a shoulder to cry on if she needs it, and they share a mutual understanding of their overall goal in life.

She knows that she can turn to him if she needs advice, knows that if she needs space or time alone, she could ask for it. She knows that he will support her, and encourage her in her dreams and aspirations, and knows that he will be by her side throughout anything else.

What are their hobbies and interests?
Her hobbies include reading, learning, sparring and drinking. Her interests are war and fighting specifically.

What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?
If we were discussing home as in where she was raised, her home would be a simple farmhouse surrounded by fields.

The house she calls home within the capital is very much the same. A small little place above the water with minimalistic decor.

The family estate is more elaborate. Decorated extravagantly in the family colours.

Her appearance more reflects the family estate than anything else. Dresses in blue, black and white, and with her hair very neatly braided and wrapped. She happily lives like a peasant, but dresses like a noble lady.

What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?
Physically, she lacks a lot of strength as her combat style is based on agility. She’s thin and toned, built to move quickly rather than act with brute strength.

Internally, she lacks self confidence, and depends heavily on the instruction of her brother or the guidance of her lover. She’s also racist.

Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?
Bitterness to her father, for plunging the family into debt.

Does your character have any children/plan to have children? Do you believe they'd be a good parent?
No doubt at one point she will become a mother.

Currently, she has no plans to be one.

Quite bluntly, alone she believes she will be terrible. She dislikes children, and eagerly avoids them however, with the support of her lover, she has belief they could be a strong family.

    • How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?
      • Effectively this. Jokes aside, Ulric has a begrudging respect for this father that arose primarily after his death at the hands of Andrieu Anahera. Key word being begrudging. In life, Hadrian prodded Ulric about his flaws, both in politics and in his personal life. But after his death, Ulric realized that some of what he said, even though he previously refuted his father's claims, turned out to be true to a certain extent. However, Hadrian continues to have a somewhat minimal influence over Ulric's day to day decisions.
    • How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?
      • Ulric had little to no interactions with his mother, being raised primarily by stewards, servants, tutors, and nannies. Ulric remembers Ayleth Typhonus neé Autenburg as a woman who was vaguely present in his life, but doesn't really find this unfortunate or really give it much thought at all. She has zero influence over Ulric at the present time.
    • Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?
      • Ulric has one sibling, Thoron Typhonus. Ulric admires Thoron, but more of as a fighter and a personal guard than as a brother. After "retiring" from the Viridian Order, Thoron became the sworn shield of the ruler of Calemberg, effectively managing the security of the Typhonus family. While Thoron and Ulric agree on politics and warfare, and can talk at great length about the subjects, there is little brotherly bond between them, and their relationship could be best described as "cordial."
    • What type of disciple was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?
      • Ulric was raised strictly on Unionist teachings, and through a staunchly conservative Calemberger worldview.
    • Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
      • All things considered, Ulric had a fairly free childhood. When not being tutored or otherwise educated on something, he was permitted to roam the halls of the Holzburg Palace as he pleased, mostly opting to interact with his younger sibling, Thoron. His education, and position as the Archduke's son and heir, often took him to the streets of Calemberg where he learned the dynamics of Regalian society at an early age, and was occasionally met with its less desirable aspects.
    • Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?
    • What was the economic status of their family?
      • The Typhonus family is horrifyingly rich.
    • How does your character feel about religion?
      • Ulric was raised on the creeds and tenants of Unionism since birth, and the teachings of the Emperor continued to guide him through his life up until the conclusion of the Lo Usurpation. Emperor Alexander the First began making sweeping reforms that removed the military from its central role in government, which made Ulric feel as if he was taking the Empire down a path it could never recover from if he persisted. Thus, Ulric gathered a posse of like-minded conservatives and sought to oust the Emperor, an act of great heresy. Internally however, Ulric thought he was doing what was right for the Empire. And while ultimately the plan was foiled, Alexander still abdicated, and Ulric was cleared of all charges, save for having the ex-Emperor declare that his soul was bound to the success of Emperor Cedromar's reign, and that if he wanted to ascend to Everwatch, he was to serve Cedromar faithfully and without question. Certain aspects of the Sancella, however, took a different approach and lambasted him as a heretic and attempted to derail his political career. This has lead to an interesting situation where Ulric is supremely loyal to the Emperor Cedromar and his personal teachings, but is personally very disenfranchised with the Sancella of Union / the Holy Synod.
    • What about political beliefs?
      • Ulric is a hardline Calemberger conservative.
    • Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
      • Ulric, while tactically brilliant on the field of battle and blessed with a certain degree of political eloquence, is often said to have the diplomatic ability of a toad. It goes both ways, really.
    • How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?
      • Ulric likes to see himself as an intelligent man, but also acknowledges his own shortcomings in certain areas, such as economics or fine arts.
    • How does they intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?
      • Ulric is concise and brisk in his communications. He prefers to get straight to the point rather than beat around the bush. While this is typically said to be the trait of more brutish individuals, Ulric does tend to add a certain refinement to his tone, typically by choice of words (unless he's upset, then it's swear words all the way down).
    • Did they like school, if they went?
      • Ulric attended the Regalian Marshal's Academy. While he wouldn't consider it the best years of his life, his time at the Academy was a relatively serene period, with many freedoms and good relationships with like-minded males in his class.
    • What did they study if they went to school? To what level?
      • Ulric studied the Discipline of General Command, teaching prospective generals the art of leading 50,000+ soldiers into battle efficiently and effectively.
    • What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like and dislike about it?
      • This is a tricky question. Ulric does several things for a living. He's the Archduke of Calemberg, a Regalian General, an popular figure in Regalian politics, and the patriarch of the House Typhonus. Generally, he sees all of his professions as his duty to further both the Empire, and the House Typhonus, like them or not. He occasionally tends to dislike the volatile nature of the Regalian political scene, especially in recent years, but such is politics.
    • Did they travel? Where? Why? When?
      • Ulric goes back and forth between the Crown Isle and Calemberg, but otherwise only travels to other places if he's leading an army there. He's rarely even seen in other places around the Archipelago, being somewhat hesitant to enter the Realm of another noble family for safety reasons.
    • What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?
      • Political power doesn't yield as much permanent influence as it seems. It comes and goes, waxes and wanes. Regalian politics are volatile and ever-changing, but regardless, Ulric persists in his quest for influence.
    • What are your character's manners like?
      • In simplest terms: Courtly. Ulric is a strong believer in the necessity of court etiquette in interactions with other members of the peerage. Bowing to superiors, collegiate dialogue, and etc. This opinion tends to degrade when Ulric becomes irate.
    • Who are their friends? Lovers?
      • The last person Ulric considered a friend was Percival Ravenstad. Unfortunately, Percy was assassinated after being ousted by his traitorous family. Ulric's only "lover" is his wife, Aleida Typhonus. But even then, the two mutually tend to abstain from over the top romance, while still retaining a soft spot for each other.
    • What do they want from a lover?
      • Someone who can listen to and understand Ulric's various troubles, stresses, and reservations, all while making him feel worth something and respected on a personal level. In his own opinion, Aleida does this quite well.
    • What are their hobbies and interests?
      • Ulric casually dabbles in a small instrument known as the "Organette", a small music box that takes patterns carved into wooden cylinders and makes music from them. In his spare time, Ulric will often sit at his desk and carve notes into said cylinders, attempting to recreate popular Calemberger and Alt-Regalian songs. As of right now, he's got a decent collection that includes the Regalian anthem.
    • What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?
      • Ulric has many homes. I'll go with the main two. The Typhonenburgh in the Crown Isle is an old fortress that was once an armory in the early days of the Empire. It was purchased by the Typhonus family and converted into their home and base of operations in the Crown Isle. The Holzburg Palace is the seat from which the Typhonus rule the Archduchy of Calemberg. It's a sprawling stone palace that sits on a hill at the center of the City of Calemberg. It was once the seat of the ancient and defunct House Cadar.
      • Ulric's personal tastes, at least in terms of living space, are simplicity. While Typhonus dwellings are often filled with works of art depicting military victories and portraits of Emperors and prominent Typhonus, as well as a vast collection of family and Calemberger relics, Ulric keeps his personal quarters fairly quaint. For instance, his room in the Typhonenburgh contains only his bed, a writing desk, a few bookshelves, and his wardrobe. His personal appearance however does not reflect this, as Ulric is often garbed in fine silks and expensive Calemberger pelts.
    • What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?
      • Physical: His right leg, after being crushed by a horse in the Battle of Lenna Bas, and then being damaged in an altercation with the Bastion Guard. Ulric was confined to a cane for a brief time, before having corrective surgery done by the Crown City Sawbones.
      • Internal: Any mention of his emotional shortcomings, such as his isolation from the rest of his family, and his distance from his own children.
    • Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?
      • Ulric certainly holds grudges, but none stand out at the current moment. Most of his rivals have all died. Though, ex-members of the Bastion Guard still hold Ulric's ire.
    • Does your character have any children/plan to have children? Do you believe they'd be a good parent?
      • Ulric has two children. His son and eldest child, Aldrich II, and his daughter and youngest, Riane. All things considered, Ulric has a fairly distant relationship with his children, too bogged down by political and military work to spend a decent amount of time with them. While he recognizes that he cannot abandon his duties to build up his relationship with them, he fears being perceived as he perceives his own father.

    • How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?
[*]Emilia doesn’t care about her father at the moment. She’s stopped trying to impress him when it took her to the front lines in Lusits. He holds no influence over her decisions, Emilia would like to think.
[*]How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?
[*]Considering Emilia is beaten with a shoe everytime she comes home a mess, it’s odd that Emilia wouldn’t hate her. Emilia does love the person who raised her alone (more or less), but could do without the shoe beatings.
[*]Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?
[*]Emilia was actually an only child until her half brother Juan came to be. Emilia hates the screaming child who sounds like a void demon and keeps her mother up at night.
[*]What type of disciple was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?
[*]Very strict. One wrong move, and the sole of a shoe was in your face.
[*]Did they feel overprotected as achild? Sheltered?
      [*]Emilia never felt that way.
[*]Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?
[*]Emilia almost always feels rejected by those she’s close to for the littlest things. It must stem from her childhood.
[*]What was the economic status of their family?
[*]Dirt poor. Being a maid service for tenants barely gets food on the dirt floor of your home.
[*]How does your character feel about religion?
[*]Currently, Emilia has turned scornful over Unionism and it’s teachings, finding it stupid and unjust. This came about from a friend talking sense into her.
      [*]What about political beliefs?
      [*]Stupid. Irrelevant for a commoner.
[*]Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
[*]Emilia is definitely on the thicker side when it comes to intelligence. She has some bearings in the slums and the streets, but is overall poor and lacking in that department.
[*]How do they see themselves: assmart, intelligent, uneducated?
[*]Emilia doesn’t see herself as anything more than a fighter for what’s right and what’s wrong.
[*]How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?
[*]Emilia has a slight slur when she speaks in her obvious commoner accent. Half of her vocabulary has gone missing due to being a candle mouse several times.
[*]Did they like school, if they went?
[*]Emilia did like the Tenpenny school, yes.
[*]What did they study if they went to school? To what level?
[*]Emilia picked up a short sword and a shield, and made it to Warrior level before departing to join the Inquisition and then Guard.
[*]What does your character do for aliving? How do they see theirprofession? What do they like and dislike about it?
      [*]Emilia is a professional nutcase.
[*]Did they travel? Where? Why? When?
      [*]Nope.
[*]What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?
      [*]Nope.
[*]What are your character's manners like?
      [*]What manners?
      [*]Who are their friends? Lovers?
[*]Her friends are all around, yet seem to be nowhere in sight for Emilia. Her lovers consisted of Petrov and her Shield (Drunkard.).
[*]What do they want from a lover?
[*]Someone who will love her back, and not make it illegal.
[*]What are their hobbies and interests?
[*]Emilia has been trying to learn to read and write, but it’s truly pitiful and slow going.
[*]What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?
[*]What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?
[*]Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?

    • How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?
      • Diethardt only knew his father for the duration of his childhood. He had a great impact later on, and especially when he disappeared, which Diethardt letter discovered the reason for. His father was often absent however, and only has an effect on the way he views himself, not on how he acts towards others.
    • How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?
      • His mother had a large role in raising him, though she was a very passive woman who also dabbled in mild alcoholism. I could imagine that most of his etiquette and especially his schooling is influenced by her, since she convinced his father to save up for an education for Diethardt. He loves her dearly to this day, especially because of that, though he has grown a bit disconnected from her over the years.
    • Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?
      • He was a twin, his brother died at childbirth.
    • What type of discipline was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?
      • He was left to his own devices most of the time, but had been taught a very stalwart perception of "rights and wrongs" and so he got by in his own culture fairly well. He wasn't a problem child, but he did have a curious ear, and a tendency to stick his nose in matters that didn't concern him.
    • Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
      • Quite the contrary. He was quite often told to take care of his own problems, instead of going for help.
    • Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?
      • He had some girlfriends, and his mother loved him. He always wanted to associate himself more with his father, but was dismissed for the most part, and sometimes even scolded.
    • What was the economic status of their family?
      • Middle class. They have enough money to buy food and pay taxes, but only just barely.
    • How does your character feel about religion?
      • Unlike most other unionists, it is not a topic that he likes to discuss. It only gives incentive to arguments and fights.
    • What about political beliefs?
      • He doesn't consider politics a topic for the common folk to worry themselves too much. He has faith that the authorities will make the proper decisions, and that he himself will get by. In terms of political values, he leans more on the traditional norms, especially those of Calemberg.
    • Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
      • I'd say he is a combination of all those things to a certain point. He is intelligent enough to plan ahead, and do so carefully. He has experience enough to know how to emulate a culture/street-culture and fit in, and he also has a very decent education at his back. He can be slow-witted if a person is acting irrationally or unpredictably towards him, or if his plans and forethought take a turn for the worse.
    • How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?
      • He doesn't consider himself stupid, that much is for sure. He thinks that he has done stupid things in the past, ironic things even. He sees himself as uneducated in most of life's lessons, and so he doesn't try to do things that he doubts he will be able to accomplish. He prefers to plan around it.
    • How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?
      • It depends on the company he is in. His personality can differ vastly, but for the most part, his speech is very casual. He knows a lot of fancy words, but doesn't see the point in using them, as he knows that the common person wouldn't understand him. He doesn't put any real effort into his speech, as long as the person can understand what he is saying.
    • Did they like school, if they went?
      • He enjoyed it. Of course he grew bored at some things like any teenager would, but in the end, he has very few regrets that he took up these courses of study.
    • What did they study if they went to school? To what level?
      • That's a find out IC.
    • What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like and dislike about it?
      • He tends to do a bit of investigating and information gathering. He often sees his profession as a part of his ironic fate and as a neutral thing, neither bad, no good. His opinion of the work can vastly differ based on the commission as well.
    • Did they travel? Where? Why? When?
      • He traveled once to Daendroc, to visit an elven lord. About 15 years prior to now. He traveled once to Songaskia, to observe the Songaskians and their culture and so on. He went there, just prior to the first Hadravian war.
    • What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?
      • He believes strongly that all is done for a reason, it is not our job to try and change that, but it is our job to try and question it, and come to terms with it.
    • What are your character's manners like?
      • Depends who he is with. He has a decent knowledge of finer etiquette, but he also knows how to fare in the streets with rougher individuals.
    • Who are their friends? Lovers?
      • This is still a fairly new character, and doesn't have any attachments yet.
    • What do they want from a lover?
      • N/A
    • What are their hobbies and interests?
      • He likes to dance and collect antique weaponry, besides not knowing how to use them.
    • What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?
      • Everything is placed in a way that is practical to him. He picked up an ideal in Songaskia that says to always place your items back in the first place you put it down, that way you can still find your items in the night, or during a sand storm.
    • What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?
      • He questions himself too much. He can also be very anxious at times, causing him much stress on a daily basis. He also isn't as strong as most other men, due to his lack of physical exercise.
    • Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?
      • He is. He does not know whether he can forgive it and he prefers not to think too much about it.
    • Does your character have any children/plan to have children? Do you believe they'd be a good parent?
      • He wants to have children, but is afraid of hurting them, due to his own experience of parental neglect. I do not personally think that he would be a good father. He is too afraid, and has too little confidence in other people. He could not bear the pressure of having such a beloved thing running around on its own.

    Alright, let's crank this out.

How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?
Khalid never met his father, only having envisioned him through his many exploits in Regalia. Though Khalid has lived a fulfilling life and understands his Father's reasons for a nomadic lifestyle, and is more than content with the kind of man he was - he can't help but hold a grudge for not having had him in his life to begin with. This is especially the case as he is now aware of the lasting impacts his Father has left on the majority of other Silven and Mages.

How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?
Khalid's mother was strict but understanding, and he thanks her for all of his charisma and eccentric influence over others - as the Gypsy Woman had raised him into just that manner of an environment.

Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?
Khalid has many siblings, though cares very little for them, and is unaware of most of them.

What type of disciple was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?
Under a stereotype strict Arab household.

Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
The opposite. They were left to the elements of humanity's worst traits, albeit under a watchful eye, and matured with resistance against it.

Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?
Neither. Khalid was a very solitary and self-serving child, never depending on the approval and affection of others. In the same way, rejection never hurt much either.

What was the economic status of their family?
Gypsy lifestyle, so enough to get by and hold festivities. It really depended on how much the troupe 'raised' through activities legal and otherwise in any given trip to a Town or City.

How does your character feel about religion?
With each passing day in Regalia, he finds Religion to be an excellent way to control even the most affluent of the masses with a well crafted lie. Especially as Khalid comes from a culture where his religion is rooted in tangible magics and clockwork.

    What about political beliefs?
None of his business. Khalid sticks to the shadows and follows his own set of rules - the politics of Regalia never really affect him unless the food prices drop and the effects of such reach the Slums.

Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
Street-Smart and cunning - only scholarly in aspects of the Arcane and some Clockwork, though that's more of a cultural aftereffect than his own choosing. He was raised into it.

How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?
Khalid views himself as a survivor, be it in a cunning or cowardly way. All ends justify the means.

How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?
Khalid is educated in smooth-talking, and it shows - he speaks to convince and butter people up, occasionally cracking a joke or pulling an accent. All to either leave an impression or sway favour back into his court.

Did they like school, if they went?
Khalid enjoyed their nomadic travels on which they learnt most of their Soul Magic, though he was expelled from the Spires of Fortune on the grounds of meddling with Void Magics.

What did they study if they went to school? To what level?
Khalid studied Clockwork automation, Soul Magic, and how the two can be woven together to craft a new breed of arcane technology.

What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like and dislike about it?
Khalid is a professional crook, often breaking into homes, conning the wealthy, pickpocketing and performing low-brow crimes to scrape by. They enjoy the thrill of the challenge it provides, which is why they stray from an actual job - even if the oppurtunity presents itself.

Did they travel? Where? Why? When?
Khalid was nomadic by nature. He travelled around Farah'deen, to Daenshore, Anglia and beyond. Though initially he travelled to learn Soul Magic, his exploits in New Ceardia, Fendarfell and even Jorrhildr were for the reasons of tomb-raiding Seraph Ruins and temples. Uncovering artefacts and so on.

What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?
Khalid is disillusioned by how some Silven throw themselves at the State to be wrung dry of use whilst also being treated like a hot pike of garbage - tossed into Fort Loyalty on the Emperor's temper-tantrumed will. Then being offered great promises literally days after to combat Dragons. It's a wild, weird Holy City to Khalid.

What are your character's manners like?
Pretty well kempt. Khalid presents himself in a sharp manner so that he leaves a positive impression on others - makes it easier to con folks in his eyes.

    Who are their friends? Lovers?
The majority of Silven, Mages, Thieves, Rogues - really just the underbelly of the Regalian Slums. He has no lovers as of yet, and is deathly afraid of commitment of any kind. Especially blood pacts.
    @SupremeCripple cough

What do they want from a lover?
Emotional attachment isn't a relevant part of Khalid's vocabulary, and so right now they'd settle for physical gratification and wise council.

What are their hobbies and interests?
Tinkering with Clockwork, weaponising his more utilitarian magics, swimming and climbing. He also enjoys reading historic recollections, poems and myths. Dragons are a frightening fascination of his - more relevant now than ever.

What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?
Khalid's home is an organised stew of stolen items, counterfeit coins, and numerous other atrocities that would land him in the Black Tower. In respect to this, Khalid keeps a neat appearance that would instead make others assume that he atleast has a study or a laboratory.

What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?
Khalid is a kleptomaniac - he doesn't just love to steal, he often can't help it. Alongside being a pathological liar, he is also far too daring for his own good. So far it's gotten his face kicked in.

Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?
Aside from the loosely held grudge against his father, none.

Does your character have any children/plan to have children? Do you believe they'd be a good parent?
As it currently stands? Terrible parent. Khalid loathes commitment of that sort and has enough trouble keeping his trained Streetmonkey happy. As is, no plans for children.

❧ How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?
Olivia adored her father. He always helped her understand the harder aspects of life and to keep sailing forward. Yet, she always resented him for leaving all the time. As a child, she couldn't understand why her own parents wouldn't want to spend time with her. As an adult she understands why, but even after his death, she finds her heart aching and missing for a childhood with actual parents.
❧ How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?
Olivia and her mother had a complicated relationship. They rarely ever saw each other after moving to Yang-Tzu, with her mother deciding to remain in Ithania most of the year to care for her grandmother, supposedly. In reality, or at least Olivia's reality, her mother abandoned her to party and play in Ithania. Sure, they still saw each other a few times a year, and those times were fun, but they never felt genuine. With her death, Olivia regrets that they never got to spend more time together.
❧ Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?
One younger brother was all Olivia had for family on their constant trips and voyages to keep company, and even then Côme wasn't born until she was seven. The short time they spent together, before he was sent off to Regalia for training, was nice and joy filled. He was always able to bring a smile to her face with his rebellious antics. Nowadays, however, Olivia feels as if she barely knows the Viridian Knight.
❧ What type of disciple was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?
Olivia was more or less allowed to do whatever she wanted as a child. Up until she was eight, their family lived in Ithania where her mother threw extravagant parties constantly, and when not partying, exposed her children to the many aspects of Ithanian culture. In her mother's world, there was no time for discipline; and her father, always out at sea, had no say. Moving to Yang-Tzu only worsened the situation, as Olivia was utterly and completely spoiled. Her father felt guilt of some kind and always came home with gifts for the heiress, and did everything he could for his little princess. The staff of the home obeyed Olivia's every command and so she was raised free from discipline - save, for her nanny. The old woman scolded Olivia from time to time and one can only hope that was enough to stave off a spoiled brat mentality.
❧ Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
Extremely so. Her father and mother tried so desperately to keep their heiress safe from harm. While she was mostly free to do what she wanted on the estate, leaving was strictly forbidden without a chaperone. This faux home arrest may be what led to Olivia's unconventional love interest - one that had her planning escape after escape from her sheltered home.

❧ Did they feel rejection or affection as a child?

Both. Olivia knew her parents loved her, that much was obvious by the endless gifts and letters, but material things can only do so much. There were nights, not too many if any ever asked her, where Olivia felt

❧ What was the economic status of their family?

Very wealthy. Olivia's mother being a famed socialite from a recognized Ithanian family while her father was a man of minor nobility from Regalia.

❧ How does your character feel about religion?

She was raised on Unionism, both Priscelle and Sancella sects by her mother and father respectively, and may have even believed in them for a time. Yet, having spent the majority of her life in Yang-Tzu, surrounded by their culture and religion of Dragon worship, brought doubt into her life. The death of nearly all of her immediate family saw the woman lose all faith in religion, especially Unionism. Nowadays Olivia will still sing the hymns and speak the sermons she was taught, but her heart is not really in it.

    ❧ What about political beliefs?

Mostly liberal. Olivia's mother engrained liberal beliefs into the girl as she grew up in Ithania, and on Yang-Tzu, she found their own cultural views and beliefs shaping her own; yet, she does have her own reservations about certain things.

    ❧ Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?

Olivia likes to think herself a scholar, having been in some kind of formal education most of her adult life. Yet, outside of her focuses of study, and anything book related, she isn't as comfortable. She, in a sense, lacks street smarts.

❧ How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?

Again, Olivia sees herself as an intellectual.

❧ How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?

Olivia's oversees education is obvious in the way she speaks; her Ithanian accent ever present. She is articulate as best she can be, and her conversation is often littered with metaphors, allegories, and quick witted remarks. Her vocabulary is robust and while she could try and speak in such a way the common or uneducated may find difficult, she does not. Olivia prefers to use words most will understand, and if they don't, she is more than welcome to teach them.

❧ Did they like school, if they went?

School had always been an escape for the Ithanian girl. Her formal training in Alchemy allowed her to delve into the complexities of life and matter, and ignore the outside world. Then, in her later years, the training in Montania allowed her a literal escape from her past in Yang-Tzu.

❧ What did they study if they went to school? To what level?

Olivia studied alchemy up until she was a scholar in the noble art, and then pursued independent research and studies until she was an expert. She also attended law school in Montania, where she graduated.

❧ What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like and dislike about it?

Olivia is many things: an alchemist, lawyer, diplomat, politician, advisor, merchant, tea connoisseur, general, captain, but most importantly she is the matriarch of House Ombre. Her duty is to her family and she cannot fail them. This has left her with a sesse of pride, which she enjoys, but also an uneasy burden. The tolls and terrors of Regalian nobility and politics have began to leave their mark on her and she dreads the next assembly, political dinner, or event she finds herself at.

❧ Did they travel? Where? Why? When?

Often. Olivia was born in Ithania, moved to Yang-Tzu, moved to Montania, moved to Regalia, moved to Pays Sud, and back to Regalia. She is almost always out on a ship - her ship - and finds comfort out on sea. The drastic move from Ithania to Yang-Tzu was because of her father's business as a child, while all else after was her choice in her adulthood. Even now, Olivia is traveling to and from the Crown Isle to the war front in Daen.

❧ What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?

Olivia is disillusioned with the Emperor, and his supposed holiness. A private thought, one she wouldn't dare share with any of the fanatics of Regalia, but true. She has met him, and others like him: leaders and rulers of foreign lands. It's her job to deal and speak with those such as him.

❧ What are your character's manners like?

Polished. Olivia was raised by an Ithanian socialite, the Ithanian socialite. She strives to be as polite as possible and layer her casual conversation with compliments and sickly sweet distractions. That is not to say, however, that she is a pushover. Olivia can become quite... passionate, and her temper can get out of hand where she will not restrain herself from clocking the first to irritate her with cruel and cold words.

❧ Who are their friends? Lovers?

Far and few in between. Olivia may be charismatic and charming, but she doesn't trust many people. Especially in Regalia. Her last friend, and even a lover in some ways, died a traitor's death. Since then she has become even more reserved in being open with others. Although, a certain elderly Yanar has become a dear friend to her.

❧ What do they want from a lover?

Support. Olivia is tired of feeling so alone and helpless. Every time she opens herself up to a man in such a way they never seem to stay. Stay alive that is. Her first husband was murdered, leaving her a widow. Her lover in Regalia died a traitor. And now? She is alone, again. She just needs a partner who will support so she can rise high.

❧ What are their hobbies and interests?

Olivia always enjoyed dancing, picking it up from her mother in Ithania. She likes to glide about the ball room of her palace, her cousin's voice filling the room as she sways and dips across the floor, dancing with an invisible partner. Or sometimes she forces one of her Oakenshield guards to join her on the dance floor, to the amusement of all.

❧ What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?

The Ombre Matriarch has many homes spread through out Aloria, but the one she has been spending most of her time in as of recent is the Trouve Palace. Once owned by another Ithanian family of nobility, now lost to irrelevancy, the palace serves the Ombre well. It is polished and pristine, surrounded by fields of flowers and the sea.

As for her personal taste, Olivia enjoys incorporating aspects of her many homes into her life. Ithanian dresses, Chi accessories, and the tell tale colors of her House almost always present.

❧ What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?

Olivia is, unfortunately, a woman with no physical prowess. She has no skill with any type of blade, and while she may carry around an ornate dagger, it's mostly for show. Any man, and most trained women, could easily over power were it to come to a battle of strength.

She is haunted by the death of her family. Varran are triggers to the woman, and she will vacate the premise should one find itself in her presence. Pirates fall under the same category, and terrify her. This paranoia is enhanced with her concern for her family and she almost always tries to flee from violent situations, or at least find herself protected by others.

❧ Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?

Olivia most definitely holds grudges, and does what she can to enact her revenge should it prove necessary. Can she forgive? Maybe, depending on the severity of the issue against her.

❧ Does your character have any children/plan to have children? Do you believe they'd be a good parent?

Motherhood was a blessing for Olivia, and she absolutely adored her daughter, Natalia. She wanted so desperately to prove to herself that could be a good mother. Or at least a better mother than her own. Yet, the one she held dear, her precious daughter, was taken from her, presumed dead after a pirate raid.

    Character Study: Erwald Ravenstad

How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?

Erwald barely had time to know his father before he met his demise during a skirmish at sea. Despite not really remembering the man, Erwald nevertheless feels love and respect for him; largely due to his uncle's stories about his brother. It was how he imagined his father and how his uncle described him that lead to the Ravenstad following the same path of naval command later in life.

How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?

Erwald respects his mother due to her position at court and how she seemingly always seems focused upon her occupation and the state of the family, though ultimately has not spent as much time with her as he would have liked. The majority of his mother's influence came through inspiring him to remain dedicated and focused towards what was important, whilst ensuring he allowed time for his family as she did not.

Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?

    Medard
    - Erwald's oldest brother, left the family home to pursue Unionism whilst Erwald was very young. Whilst he still respects Medard, he despises how little he has seen his brother and his lack of compassion towards the family unless conducting a wedding or funeral.

Bastien - Erwald always got along well with Bastien during their childhoods, with his other brother being his go-to partner for sparring and advice due to his advanced years. Bastien allowed time for his siblings, which Erwald appreciated due to the absence of his parents, although he would later despise his brother's party-hard attitude and tendency to do whatever he pleased that eventually resulted in his disownment from the family and demise.

Valerie - His younger sister by three years, Erwald has always had a close bond with Valerie. Both maintain a stoic but respectful attitude towards life and continue to look out for each other to this day. Whilst he dislikes her willingness to throw herself into danger for the pursuit of knowledge or due to her status as a mage, Erwald also admires this quality though would never admit it to her face.

What type of discipine was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?

Erwald's upbringing was very lenient, since it was mainly left to his brother and the servants to look after him whilst his mother kept an eye over everything from a distance. She installed values into him and his siblings from a young age then let them do as they please as long as they abided by the rules of the state and family.

Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?

Despite being part of a noble family, Erwald felt far from sheltered or overprotected and largely did as he wanted as long as he returned home for dinner and studying at the correct times.

Did they feel rejection or affection as a child?

Whilst he could have felt rejection from the lose of his father and his mother's distance, Erwald instead received affection from his siblings and his uncle, Vincent. They gave him self-worth and the support he needed to achieve what he wanted to do in life.

What was the economic status of their family?

The Ravenstad family has always been wealthy, meaning that the money for tutors and education only needed to be approved by his mother before being moved from the family funds.

How does your character feel about religion?

Erwald is a firm Unionist, along with the rest of his family, and is likely to turn to the Church when faced with an inner conflict that cannot be solved so easily.

    What about political beliefs?

Erwald largely leaves politics to the rest of his family, though will always give his perspective towards current affairs if prompted.

Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?

Intellectual would accurately describe Erwald as he engages in critical thinking and reflects upon society from an outside perspective, rather than a personal one.

How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?

Erwald would think himself as smart due to his continued interest in books and how he approaches both life and his occupation with a tactical mentality.

How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?

Whilst Erwald speaks rather directly, he tends to use a large vocabulary when he wants to and is happy to use it to show his intelligence or dominance over particular opponents.

Did they like school, if they went?

Erwald was initially taught at home by tutors, although he later joined the Mariposa School to continue learning its fighting style. Whilst he found enjoyment in the teachings and practical aspects, the young Ravenstad felt his intellect being wasted away unless he honed it with the continued reading of books. However, his time at the Girobalda Naval Academy was entirely what he wanted in all fields.

What did they study if they went to school? To what level?

He studied the Mariposa fighting style for four years at home with a tutor, then for four years at the Mariposa School until graduation, where he came a warrior. Then he studied for seven years as a Admiral, graduating at the Learned level. He now works towards Scholar.

What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like and dislike about it?

Erwald is currently an Admiral for the Crown Armada, which he enjoys and feels proud of, although wishes it was a more frequent occupation due to his love of sailing. In his spare time, he holds the title of Officer Supreme in the Ravenstad Houseguard and helps to manage it. Whilst he is grateful for the opportunity to keep his fighting skills up to scratch, Erwald also feels that it requires a refocus on protecting the Ravenstad family and home over offering assistance to other matters in the city.

Did they travel? Where? Why? When?

Erwald travelled to the Fonseca estate and the shores of Girobalda for his education (Mariposa fighting and discipline of admiralty respectively), then spent a number of years engaging in skirmishes against pirates and the Qadir in order to gain some experience in his field. This was mainly focused around the coastlines of Farah'deen though he occasionally spent time on land to gather more supplies and study the culture.

What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?

The Ravenstad's disillusions lie within himself, usually surfacing in a lack of confidence and self-worth until he is otherwise reassured. Erwald wonders if his current actions would please his father and whether he is actually making a difference despite his insistence that he puts duty before everything else.

What are your character's manners like?

Erwald usually maintains a respectful though distant manner, though is prone to snapping or coming across as entitled or rude if he is approached the wrong way (such as being distracted or caught in a bad mood). To those who have gained his trust or should the situation call for it, he is likely to be very accommodating and pleasant in order to make them feel welcomed or to achieve what he wants from the exchange.

    Who are their friends? Lovers?

Erwald can count the number of true friends he has upon one hand because of how difficult it is to earn his trust, though he has many acquaintances that he regularly checks on for their wellbeing. Despite this, his friends include Czylle d'Vaud, Avynn Ignace and Jaecar Typhonus. The love of his life would be Czylle d'Vaud, who he currently courts whilst waiting for permission to marry her.

What do they want from a lover?

When looking for love, Erwald desires someone who shares both his outlook on the world and his interests. He requires a woman who can act as his support, his reassurance and his stability when he most needs it and somebody who can ultimately keep up with him whilst understanding where his faults lie. Czylle d'Vaud has offered him all that and more, with the both of them sharing goals and ambitions for their future ahead.

What are their hobbies and interests?

Erwald's hobbies involve sailing, reading, sparring and drinking. Much of his spare time is spent at the tavern or reading (particularly tactical or history books) either alone or in the company of others.

What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?

Buerg Eleng is neatly maintained and extravagant in interior style, although this is not due to Erwald's effort. His own room, however, is kept clean and tidy whilst keeping to the Ravenstad colours of crimson, black and purple. Erwald's own appearance reflects this as he is usually seen in practical but well-kept attire in the family colours, whilst his facial hair and hairstyle are also kept neat and tidy.

What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?

Erwald's physical weakness lies with his bulk strength, which is why he favours wearing heavy armour as he has become used to fighting with it. Whilst his agility and reaction time is fairly quick due to his Mariposa training and his physical appearance is large and tall, the fighting style he prefers has less of a focus upon strength and his usual position behind the wheel of a ship means the manual labour is left to his crew.

His internal weakness lies with a lack of confidence in his abilities and decisions away from his occupation and a tendency to keep such inner conflicts to himself unless directly prompted. Whilst speaking to his family or his lover can counteract this, Erwald can often find himself wishing he was elsewhere when faced with particular difficult decisions, which prevents him from acting quickly.

Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?

He continues to feel anger for Bastien's decisions in life, wishing his brother was still with him today even if he had chosen to leave the family, but deeply misses him and wonders if he could have done anything to stop what happened. On a related note, Erwald also feels suspicion and bitterness towards Ania Howlester, previously married to Bastien, as he feels she might be hiding something related to his death or could have done more to prevent it. Despite these suspicions, he has managed to keep them bottled up inside for the sake of his nephew.

Does your character have any children/plan to have children? Do you believe they'd be a good parent?

Erwald would personally like to have children sometime to start the next generation of the Ravenstad family, although equally feels wary about the decision due to thinking that he could be a poor father. However, knowing that he would have his family, servants and his lover behind him in raising any children, the Ravenstad believes that any current doubts would pass with time and experience and looks forward to having a family of his own.

I play as Gazini "Gazi" Sfiso, a Rubah Songaskia, who has since been enslaved by the Regalian System. He was in the service of Lady Czylle D'Vaud and the Wider D'Vaud Family, where he was renamed 'Garon' and passed his exam to become a Marked Citizen. He has since been on a tour around the Regalian Archipelago and recently returned to the Capital.

How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?
    • "Gazi's father had earned the status of a Songaskian General, fighting battles in the harsh farah'deen deserts... At the start of his young life, Gazini did not initially wish to step into the footsteps of his father, wishing to look into the arts and music. However, upon the eve of his tenth birthday, Gazini was inducted into the School of Alrra-Alhis." - Character Sheet.
      1. Gazini regards in father with some regard, mostly his prowess as a great warrior for his people, but he did not 'Love' him.
      2. Whereas his father was far more stern and martial, Young Gazini was far more gentle and forgiving.
      3. On this note, his father wished to toughen him by sending him into the Sultanate's most esteemed martial school, which Gazini initially detested but nonetheless adapted to. In this respect, Gazini has a Neutral view of his Father.
How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?
    • "His mother was the daughter of a Fisherman in Diernali." - Character Sheet.
      1. Gazini holds his mother fondly in his own memory, having spent a long time with her before his father sent him away.
      2. His mother was a far more gentler soul, preferring the arts and music to working in Diernali under her own father. Gazini loved her for her soft touch and gentleness, having nursed him and raised him. His only hate would be her insistence on staying close to her, which often chafed at his own childish independence.
      3. His mother's greatest influence on Gazini was his practice with music. Gazini is able to play some instruments, mostly string instruments, which were paid for by her share of her husband's income.
Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?
    • "He also had have a younger brother, named Khimari, who was 3 years his minor." - Character Sheet
      1. Gazini only has one sibling, a brother named Khimari, now believed to be deceased.
      2. Gazini liked his brother, but they tended to have a brotherly rivalry as they grew up together, often fighting for their mother's attention.
      3. Gazini does not despise their sibling, although they often fought over the pettiest of things, instead he feels regret/jealousy/despair. Khimari had joined the military, but whereas Gazini was captured as the Siege of Massoilagui, Khimari is said to have died during the Second Songaskian War. The news of the loss hit Gazini hard, even though it is unverified.
What type of discipline was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?
    • "The School of Alrra-Alhis demands high levels of discipline from its students. Strict adherence to all orders forms a base for the many rules that the technique has. Sahaq-Shae cannot attack others unless ordered to, and due to their great loyalty, will serve their commanders without any question as wholly as possible." - School of Alrra-Alhis, Code of Conduct
    1. At home, before he went to the school, Gazini and his Brother lived a relatively leniant life, being able to do as they wished within the Masaya within due reason. Discipline usually came as a reprocussion from him and his brother fighting.
    2. After he went to the School of Alrra-Alhis, Gazini was thrown into a far more strict regime, forced to adapt to new situations time and again. This initially sat very uneasily with Gazini, but he still adapted and became a skilled Sahaq-Shae within his own right.
Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
    • "His only hate would be her insistence on staying close to her, which often chafed at his own childish independence." - Previously Answered Question, Q2,P2.
    1. As a young child and with due hindsight, Yes, Gazini did feel fairly sheltered. He was a much more free-roaming soul until his father sent him to school, after which, the protection was ripped away and Gazini was forced to make his own way in life.
Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?
    • "His mother was a far more gentler soul, preferring the arts and music to working in Diernali under her own father. Gazini loved her for her soft touch and gentleness, having nursed him and raised him." - Previously Answered Question, Q2, P2.
    1. I would argue that Gazini has known more affection than rejection in his own lifetime. Whilst he has had to deal with the stresses of slavery, both within his homeland and in Regalia, he has only ever known rejection in the form of the innate racism in Imperial Society.
What was the economic status of their family?
    • "His father had earned the status of a Songaskian General...his mother was the daughter of a Fisherman in Diernali" - Character sheet.
    • "Rubah Songaskia are the third highest ranked on the Songaskian position of their caste system and are the core of the Songaskian military. Rubah caste members either work for or are incorporated into the army structure." - Wikia, Songaskia.
    • "Jenne Songaskia are the fourth ranked on the Songaskian position of their caste system, and are the core commoner population of the Songaskian Masaya. They represent the citizens, craftsmen, merchants and the pasture goatherds as well as scribes and entertainers." - Wikia, Songaskia.
    1. Strictly speaking, Gazini is a member of the Rubah Songaskia, the same caste as his father. Gazini's family was propped up by the status of their father, who was often away from home and left within the care of their mother, herself being a Jenne Songaskia. Due to this match, the income often came from the father, whereas the mother was able to live in relative comfort. The mother only had to work when it was absolutely essential, which was rare.
How does your character feel about religion?
    • "The official religion of the Songaskia is Shambala, the faith of the Sun. The Songaskia have no other form of religion, even void worship is almost non-existent among their people largely due to their unwillingness to admit their faith is wrong, and the difficulty Planar Essence has in affecting the ruling classes as they do not fall prey to the seduction of the Void. The faith of Shambala dictates that the sun is a conscious being that is all-holy and all-powerful. The sun shines brightly on those who worship her and burns and blinds those who turn away from her warm gaze. " - Wikia, Songaskia, Relgion.
    1. Again, Strictly speaking, Gazini is a follower of Shambala, the faith of the Sun. However, he has had to conduct his own worship in secret and away from the prying eyes of Imperial Society, but this faith has been slowly strained by the circumstances that life has thrown at him. As such, he has contemplated converting to the Regalian Unionist faith, in an attempt to make his own situation easier in Regalian Society.
    What about political beliefs?
    • "The Songaskia, much like the Regalians, follow a strict caste system dictated by the Ashanti Songaskia, the Massya and his inner court. The Massya is comparable to the Regalian Emperor in power, though while an important religious figure, he does not have divine status among the Songaskia." - Wikia, Songaskia, Politics
    1. Gazini can be considered to the political mind a complete and utter mess.
    2. Initially conservative in his views, in so far that he believes that there should be a social hierarchy in society that is dictated by a Monarch, Gazini does not wish to ripthe fabric of society like a revolutionary.
    3. However, he does have some psuedo-liberal/reactionary values towards Slavery, having been a slave himself in both the Farah'deen Masaya and the Regalian Empire.
Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
    • "Exercising - 'A Healthy Body means A Healthy Mind.' Gazi will likely do exercises in his quarters or could potentially be found running a morning constitutional before working for the d'Vaud Family. Anyone who shows similar interest to exercise earns Gazi's curiosity." - Character Sheet
    1. I do not believe that my character can be considered to have street savoir-faire. Whilst he is able to navigate around most places on land, he does so on his own, as he does not tend to talk to most people.
    2. Gazini is by no means literate, having never really picked up a book in his life that was not a sheet of music, he is uneducated in this regard.
    3. He is neither intelligent nor unintelligent, his cognitive abilities of analysis and evaluation are average by intellectual standards, aimed more towards practical solutions rather than advanced thought processes.
    4. Is Gazi Intellectual? No, if your definition of Intellectual refers to current one's academic standing. He may have potential, but this is otherwise untapped.
    5. Slow-witted... Well, no, not really. Gazini can think and he can think well enough to be able to adapt to new situations, as previously stated, he is of average intelligence.
How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?
    • "Art & Music - Gazi is a secret Art & Music Lover. 'Art is made to be beautiful, food is made to be delicious, fashion is made to be daring and gorgeous, and language is spoken with pleasure.' Looking at art or listening to music places Gazi in a good mood." - Character Sheet
    1. Gazini does not see himself as 'completely' uneducated, he does know a few things, and his knowledge of art and music is potentially the best example of this.
    2. However, Gazini knows that he is not as smart or intelligent as some of the Regalian Ailor around him, due largely to the fact that he is completely and utterly illeterate in both his own Sofaal and Common.
How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?
    • "Gazi is not likely to be the first one to ever strike up conversation. Quiet and Conservative, he prefers to cross his arms and watch a scenario unfold, only acting when he has to. This can make him seem daunting to some people who are more gregarious, like a stoic statue of some Gargoyle outside a building." - Character Sheet
    1. As one might expect from his lack of formal, academic training, Gazini does not speak often. The few times that he does speak, he speaks in a strong Songaskian accent, rarely talking longer than a single sentence. His voice is deep and foreboding, but never antagonistically-so.
    2. Lady Czylle d'Vaud spent a great deal of time attempting to teach Gazini to talk more frequently and with a better vocabulary, often not standing less that three word replies, so to integrate him better with Regalian Society. As such, he speaks better now, but remains illiterate.
Did they like school, if they went?
    • "Songaskian Military Training: As part of his training at the School of Alrra-Alhis, Gazi underwent an extensive physical training programme, making him the musclar Songaskian that people see today. He is Athletic, often going out on training exercises to make him a more durable soldier. Gazi is also very Alert, from his time as a Songaskian guard. He is able to often detect those in close proximity, provided that he stays still. His training as a guard makes him a perfect sentinel. Songaskian mentors have taught Gazi to ever be vigilent and keen of mind, which may help in survivalist situations, such as knowing the way North and recalling information some forget." - Character Sheet
    1. No, Gazini did not enjoy attending the School of Alrra-Alhis, even though he did benefit from learning from there. The way the school was structured and the way the students were treated left much to be desired in the eyes of Gazini.
    2. Gazini managed to earn respect/admiration from his peers, due to being one of the tallest in the class and from being able to adapt to his new surroundings, enabling him to become a skilled warrior in his own right.
What did they study if they went to school? To what level?
    1. As is natural for a Sahaq-Shae, Gazini was trained in the use of the Kadmus Shield and the Spear. He was trained at the School of Alrra-Alhis for 15 years, until the Second Songaskian War with Regalia broke out.
What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like and dislike about it?
    • "His arms crossed and a blank stare wandering into some distant ether, many may find his personality somewhat threatening or unwelcoming, particularly should he be in the process of guarding someone." - Character Sheet
    1. Gazini used to work in the service of House d'Vaud, as a bodyguard for Lady Czylle d'Vaud and sometimes the wider family, but he has since used his saving to go travelling. He has now returned to Regalia to try and find new employment, potentially as a mercenary or as a Guard.
Did they travel? Where? Why? When?
    • "Before he knew it, Gazini found himself in a cart, with shackles over his limbs and being sold off to the Suffran Order. At the time, Gazini knew nothing of them and cared less. But, these importers of flesh and chattel took their newly acquired purchases to Etolia. The fates would drag him away from Etolia when he was purchased by a Regalian up-and-coming Minister, called d'Vaud. The d'Vaud received Gazini in Regalia, where they affectionately nicknamed him "Gazi", but he could only watch in silence as they talked over the latest edition to their household" - Character Sheet
    1. Gazini has travelled a fair distance in his lifetime. Starting off in the Farah'deen Masaya, he has covered the majority of the land between the Western coastline & the capital, during military service.
    2. He was then captured by the Suffran Order, who then took him as a Prisoner of War and later enslaved him. During this time, he cannot recall where he had been, only that he spent a small amount of time at some form of complex, before being shipped over to the Imperial Lands.
    3. Gazini spent a small amount of time in the service of House d'Vaud, until the examinations came about and he was maded a Marked citizen, enabling him to travel. From this, he used the money he saved in their service to travel in a large loop around the Regalian Archipeligo, within the space of a year. He doesn't know exactly why he did this, but considering that he chafed under Regalian rule and Masayan rule alike, going home wasn't much an option.
What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?
    • "Being treated like one reminds him of his lowly status and makes him dwell on this failure, and on the questions which surround it and his being. Gazi feels lost at times when confronted with this reality, before pragmatism kicks in." - Character Sheet
    1. Ouch, this is a tough question... I guess Gazini's deepest disillusions stem from Society's practice of slavery, believing it to be completely anathema to the natural order, for does the lion enslave the zebra or any lesser creature?
    2. That being said, I would also comment that Gazini is, himself, a disillusioned character. As a former slave and a Marked Citizen, he is disillusioned with Society and does not feel he has any power to change it, therefore he does everything in his power to merely survive and continue on.
What are your character's manners like?
    • "Gazi is very tolerant of the society that he is now being forced to live in. Snidey comments and dark words from passersby may hurt others, but not Gazi. Instead, he is willing to take an awful lot of punishment, before finally walking away." - Character Sheet
    1. His manners? Oh Jeez, these are getting harder... Well, I guess the first and foremost thing to say here is that Gazini is a very tolerant and empathetic character, despite the hardships that have befallen him. He is able to feel for others of many different races and religions, and is also able to suffer their injustices upon his person without much regard for his own safety.
    2. On a small sidenote, Gazini has a rediculous sweet-tooth. He loves sweets. Particularly chocolate. A fact that Lady Czylle would later abuse to get him to learn more and more about Regalian society and his place within it.
    3. This aside, he is a rather stoic, still and stoney-faced character. He is rarely the one to start up a conversation.
    Who are their friends? Lovers?
    • Lady Czylle d'Vaud & Sir Keral Darovec are the only two people that Gazini would consider his 'Friends'.
    1. As a rather unsociable person, Gazini does not tend to make friends easily, let alone lovers. He often sits upon the sidelines, observing the mannerisms of others, unless someone attempts to interact with him. If someone does, he'll open up slowly, but not consider anyone a friend until they prove their friendship to him.
What do they want from a lover?
    • "Body Types: Female - Females are often Curvaceous or Femmefatale" - Wikia, Songaskia
    1. Well, call Gazini a slight hypocrite, but he is yet to have any 'loving' emotional connection with anyone, so it is therefore much more likely that he would seek a female Songaskian to find solace in. Societal conventions have imposed his own wishes that they be curvaceous in the body and strong-willed.
What are their hobbies and interests?
    • "Building/Tinkering - Gazi likes to build objects of all shapes and sizes. Given the materials, he can occupy himself constructing a small gift for an individual without much hassle" - Character Sheet
    1. Aside from his love for Art & Music in almost all its forms, Gazini is particularly good with his hands when constructing and tinkering objects. Particularly, he is quite happy to sit and carve small pieces of wood into different shapes and objects, which he can later gift onto people. Aside from this, he exercises to keep him fit and attempts to stay out of trouble.
What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?
    • This Character is Currently of No Fixed Abode.
    1. Gazini's personal tastes are somewhat subdued by Regalian Society. Once used to wearing red body paints and wearing little beyond leather armour and a tunic, Gazini now finds himself wearing trousers, a suit and a shirt. He, however, keeps his white hair braided . . . as some form of rebellion against his suppression.
What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?
    • "Chocolate: Gazi has a weakness for Chocolate. As strange as it may sound to others, Gazi rarely gets to eat anything that isn't either bland or salty, meaning he has a rather nasty sweet-tooth. He enjoys sweets like a toddler would, but give this Songaskian Chocolate and you've made a friend." - Character Sheet
    1. You mean other than Chocolate?!?
    2. Well, Gazini has been through a lot of traumatic experiences in a relatively short space of time, which has left him more emotionally damaged than physically. He is haunted by his capture and he is struggling to make his way in Regalian Society.
    3. Gazini also has a STRONG dislike of Blackmark mercenaries, forcing himself to usually back away from where they are present, lest he finds himself in a brawl with one of them. He blames them for his capture and potentially even for his Brother's Death.
Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?
    • "Haunted: Gazi is a Haunted personality by a single failure in his life. A faliure which, he believes, resulted directly in his enslavement in the Regalian Empire. As such, Gazi is often plagued by such dramatic reenactments of his thoughts as he works and sleeps." - Character Sheet
    1. Yes, Gazini is holding onto his failure to prevent his own capture and his own forced circumstance, as well as the death of his Brother. Whilst he was not directly involved and was likely unable to prevent it, he nonetheless feels like anyone would with the loss of a sibling.
    2. Can he forgive? Usually. But it'd take some work for him to ever forgive Society for allowing slavery and forgive the Blackmarks that placed him there, away from his family.
Does your character have any children/plan to have children? Do you believe they'd be a good parent?
    1. Gazini currently has no plans to have children.
    2. Gazini does not think he would be a good parent, given his line of work and the parallels between his life and his father's.

    1. How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?

The late baron Battista di Golardo had a huge influence of Audrey in regards to her ambitions and militaristic approach to things. She grew up loving and adoring him even despite the generally matriarchal framework of the family, and in a sense also learned the importance of dualism in life.

    2. How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?

Ophelia d'Ortonnaise, the former baroness of Courteaux and matriarch of the family, was obviously the greatest influence on Audrey. Though this comes with a love & hate relationship as Audrey is never sure whether she can live up to her mother's character in terms of her family's expectations as a ruler.
    1. Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?

Audrey's got two sisters and a brother, and is surprisingly neutral towards each. In a way, she poses a sisterly love to them couple with a matriarch's love to the bigger family. On the other hand though, she can be very critical of their accomplishments and ambitions. Thought the same is true towards her cousins, with twice the critique and half the compassion.
    2. What type of disciple was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?

The baroness was raised under strict disciple, though not to radical extremes. In hindsight, Audrey's grateful she grew up in a place with order and proper protocol.

    3. Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?

Up until the age of 11, perhaps. A bit too sheltered. From then on, completely independent. She was sent off to learn the fine arts of acting and play-writing, then travelled around the empire on her own from the age of 16.

    4. Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?

A mix of both, most likely. Affection was very little in the d'Ortonnaise household, but when she was given any, it had true weight behind it. And the same was true for rejection. All in all, Audrey was raised with proper care to be the new matriarch and a landholder.
    5. What was the economic status of their family?

Filthy rich. To the point that Audrey spent the first 11 years in her life without ever seeing, touching or hearing something that was not her family's property or a family member. This included all servants, the enslaved Nelfin, as well as music, art and food around the Loiree baronies. The d'Ortonnaise wealth is built upon two centuries' worth of noble taxation and trade of plantation products, and the current economic climate in Regalia is all-too-perfect for the d'Ortonnaise sugar empire.

    6. How does your character feel about religion?

Audrey's deeply religious, though in a somewhat peculiar way. She isn't only stuck between the Sancella and the Priscelle heresy, but also prefers a far more pragmatic approach to religion than others would. She's the kind of woman to prefer missionary work over sermons or entering employment under the Emperor instead of any monastic order.

    7. What about political beliefs?

Audrey, along with most of the d'Ortonnaise, is a neo-conservative Ithanian. The family always perceived the subjugation of Ithania as the homeland's greatest time of weakness and has always been part of the decentralising faction, seeking to obtain more powers and independence for the Hivres. Audrey herself participated on the Ithanian side in the Daendroquean incursion of 303AC, the Varran incursion of 304AC, was an avid supporter of the austerity movement and served one last time during the Bone Horror Crisis in 304AC. After all these and with her background, Audrey lost absolutely all faith in Ithanian pacifism and is an avid supporter of militarisation, Ithanian nationalism and matriarchal supremacy projected in a more jingoist manner.

    8. Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?

Audrey's an intellectual for sure, though heavily leaning towards drawing her knowledge from experience and not books. In fact, all her education took place on the field and based itself off of practice. She has a sense of respect towards the book-smart people, though not as much as to the actually experienced, more aged Regalians.

    9. How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?

Audrey never truly considered herself an intellectual, mostly because her family has members that are far more aligned to the concept (including his uncles, Sirio, Paolo and Silvain). Though she's self-confident about her smarts and education.

    10. How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?

Audrey's an educated diplomat and intelligence specialist which left her with an eloquent, calculated and almost artificially-perfect pattern of speech. It's rare to see her stumble in the middle of a sentence, ponder or use filler words. Her background also means she speaks in almost completely clean accent in Imperial Standard Common, with only hints of d'Ithanie injected. She does, however, have a royal hint to her speech when speaking her native tongue, and a heavy Ithanian accent in Dressolini.

    11. Did they like school, if they went?

Audrey didn't go to any formal school other than the Grenwald academy, where she studied from afar under field practice most of the time in Ithania. Her basic education in literacy, languages, etiquette, arithmetic and fief management were all provided by private tutours.

    12. What did they study if they went to school? To what level?

Audrey studied writing and acting first, then diplomacy and finally court subterfuge. Her acting's mediocre, writing is pretty good. She's an expert and renowned diplomat and a flamboyant schemer.

    13. What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like and dislike about it?

The baroness manages things. And that's most of her job & incomes. She manages a court to sustain her lands and noble incomes, she manages a general staff to sustain her family's presence in the military, she serves the Sancella as a Holy Dame in the church's effort to mend the schisms and support the crusade against the elves.

Audrey's been mostly pragmatic in regards to her profession as a sort-of "leader" wherever she's put. She likes it, because she can interact with her friends, retinues and vassals a lot, though she also dislikes it because without them, she feels powerless. Of her dabbling into court subterfuge, she pursues that with a passion.

    14. Did they travel? Where? Why? When?

Audrey spent most of her life travelling between Ithania and the Ithanian sub-realms of the Archipelago. During her 20s, she also travelled a lot within Ithania, between the many Hivre courts. As part of her education as a diplomat, she also visited Calemberg numerous times. Recently, she's been limbo-ing between Rie and Regalia due to the war.

    15. What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?

The baroness' deepest disillusion was the crumbling of Ithanian stability in pacifism, prosperity and culture. She saw the burning Hivres with her own eyes during the Daendroquean incursion and was part of many emergency councils addressing the situation over a course of four months before external help arrived. In this, she also grew disillusioned about the future of the Empire. At that point, and the subsequent Varran wars, she realised the Empire grew too large for itself, swallowed so many realms that it can no longer maintain its control, protection and influence. It's her most prominent internal conflict: she aims to convert and reform Ithania into a self-sustaining militaristic nation, though at the same time she wants the Empire to tone down in its jingoism.

    16. What are your character's manners like?

Audrey's well-mannered. She often has trouble toning down on her arrogance that resulted from the Ithanian upbringing, but generally considers herself a humble and approachable woman. She tends to be forgiving and has an extreme distaste towards holding grudges: it's often to her rivals' surprise when Audrey seems to completely ignore events as recent as a day before. She has a certain attitude: if she can retaliate, she will, swift and with a deadly cut. If she can't, there's no point in holding a grudge.
    17. Who are their friends? Lovers?

      [Classified]

    18. What do they want from a lover?

As much for the OOC puns and jokes, Audrey /is/ a control freak and seeks nothing but domination in a relationship with a lover. In a way, she seeks those with an affinity to Ithanian or related cultures, men of stature and size she can add to her "trophies" as having been toppled, subjugated and conquered.

    19. What are their hobbies and interests?

Little do people know, but Audrey has a true passion often hidden behind privacy and curtains. And that passion and hobby is: swimming. She also has deep interests in fashion, art, history and almost anything Ithanian.

    20. What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?

Audrey's a vane woman caring a lot about her surroundings and her own looks. Though if her tastes had to be defined with one word, it'd be "effeminate". She has a preference for all kinds of gowns, for hues of purple and pink to decorate her home and for anything fluffy or frizzy.

    21. What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?

Physically, Audrey's most visible weakness is as simple as her size and muscles. She's average in the latter, and below-average in the former. For a less visible weakness, she's a desperate addict of opiates, tabacca and alcohol. The main challenge in her induction into the holy sepulchre was not her loyalty, knowledge of the creeds, devotion, skills or intelligence. It was as simple as her sustaining her life for a week without any of the above mentioned necessities. Her only fortune was a Reverend who shares some of these qualities...

Internally, Audrey's torn between an endless struggle of maintaining her political goals and using her guile and cunning for advancement, though retaining her morals and bearing all the way forwards. Another struggle she's been obviously facing is marriage: Audrey is torn between waiting for the proper political marriage opportunity to arise since she came of age, to the point where she is now 30 and still unmarried.

    22. Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?

Mostly her vanity and pacifism. A sort-of idealism that she threw and shook off for her current sense of pragmatism. But in general, Audrey tends to reflect on those years as the "idealistic youth" before her more mature attitude to politics and life.
    23. Does your character have any children/plan to have children? Do you believe they'd be a good parent?

No. Never. She has a cat, two dogs and a minque. They are all the children she needs.

    • How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character ?
      • Amelina while loving both of her parents, has some negative opinions on her father. He was very militaristic while she was growing up and grew even stricter once her brother died, barely allowing her to leave the lands their estate sat on. He grew more lenient once she grew up some more, but the feelings were already there.
    • How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?
      • Amelina looks up to her mother more than her father. She was the voice of reason and the person she could talk to when upset. Her mother was very nurturing and it is where Amelina gets that from.
    • Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?
      • She has three sisters, all of who are younger than her. She tends to be overly caring for them, not wanting them to get hurt in any way. Her caring can be seen as pressing and she thinks her sisters don't enjoy spending time with her. She had a younger brother who passed away, but their relationship wasn't that close because of their age difference and the fact that Amelina's father didn't want his son doing the same tasks as his daughters.
    • What type of disciple was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?
      • She started her life living very leniently, it wasn't terribly strict until her brother passed. Once her brother passed it was utter control over her and her sisters, even when on business trips they were constantly being guarded.
    • Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
      • Amelina still harbors the feeling of being over-protected as a child. She wished she could have the freedom that others had, but knows it was only being done to protect her.
    • Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?
      • Because Amelina was female her father was instantly disappointed. This is what caused their family to have so many children as her father wished to get a boy and heir to the family title. He only had girls until his final child who was a son. He spent his time with his son teaching him the ins and outs of the family while essentially putting the girls to their mother. She wishes she had that connection with her father, but the main affection came from her mother.
    • What was the economic status of their family?
      • Her family was never filthy rich, but rich enough to get by and hold titles.
    • How does your character feel about religion?
      • While her family practiced Unionism and she continues to practice it, she has a tendency to stray from the path of Unionism. She wants to better her religious beliefs and practices.
    • What about political beliefs?
      • She doesn't consider herself conservative or Jingoist, but she also doesn't see herself as liberal with her views. Some things she is okay with, but her military views are put into place by her father and she sticks to those.
    • Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
      • Amelina is book-smart and likes to think she is intelligent. She went to school for most of her teens years and prides herself on knowing the most in her subject.
    • How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?
      • She sees herself as smart, but she knows and is aware that there is things she does not know and will probably remain clueless on.
    • How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?
      • Amelina speaks very proper. She sounds out her words and rarely curses. She curses only when extremely stressed.
    • Did they like school, if they went?
      • At first she hated school, like many teenagers are, but the longer she was in the more she enjoyed it. What made her enjoy it more was the fact that her school was within her lands and she did not have to travel terribly far like others she has met.
    • What did they study if they went to school? To what level?
      • Amelina went to the school of Horticulture with a focus in Floriculture. She finished scholar level before coming to the city.
    • What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like and dislike about it?
      • Amelina currently sells perfumes, continuing on her families business. She sees her business as a way to thrive and continue expanding her knowledge on the matter. She enjoys the aspect of creating in her job and enjoys making new perfumes each season. She dislikes having to be in her shop for such long hours and the failures that can sometimes come with it.
    • Did they travel? Where? Why? When?
      • Amelina traveled a little before school throughout Brissiaud, she traveled even more to Ithania for school and business. Her travels never took her anywhere besides these places except for when she came to the city.
    • What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?
      • One of her biggest disillusions was the city itself. She had heard that the city was extremely beautiful and the most amazing city, but the city has nearly taken her life and shown her horrors she didn't think possible.
    • What are your character's manners like?
      • As stated Amelina speaks very proper and likes to appear proper in front of large crowds of people. She rarely speaks out of place, but when she is away from others or with her close friends she tends to loosen up more.
    • Who are their friends? Lovers?
      • Her friend group is a mix of people, her closest friend being Sigurna Wodenstaff after meeting her this past winter and being through so much. Amelina has had her fair share of "lovers" most of them leaving her. She is currently courting someone and considers him to be different from the rest of them.
    • What do they want from a lover?
      • Amelina wants someone who won't leave her or cheat on her. She wants someone who devotes their time to her like she would for them. Mutual agreements is something she wants to have as fighting is not something she enjoys.
    • What are their hobbies and interests?
      • She enjoys her perfume making and also enjoys her arts. She is one of the Effleurs and enjoys spending so much time looking at the entertainment and even planning the events. In lesser convention hobbies, she enjoys archery and enjoys hunting. Her father taught her archery as he was an expert Wapnbog shooter.
    • What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?
      • Amelina has her homes, her shop, and her boat. They are all clean and proper. Her home shows her family colors and always has a spot to be able to host gatherings and dinners. Personally her looks reflect this, she keeps herself in flowing dresses and during the winter she has her furred coats. The colors always a range from magenta to light pink.
    • What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?
      • Physically Amelina is small, she is short and doesn't have much strength to her. Internally she has issues with sleeping, causing tiredness to take over her at most times.
    • Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?
      • Amelina is extremely resentful. She holds grudges and has a difficult time letting go and getting over things. The death of Johann Eschevard was difficult for her and she has barely gotten over it, it still is difficult for her to talk about or have people talk about him.
    • Does your character have any children/plan to have children? Do you believe they'd be a good parent?
      • Amelina currently doesn't have children but she wants them. She is jealous of her friends who have them. She thinks she would be a fantastic mother as she is a very nurturing person, getting that from her own mother.

    1. How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?
      1. Ayda thinks that her father can be annoying, but generally appreciates him. She loves that he was more of a loving and supportive parent than her mom was and that he was always there for her. On the other hand, though, she hated how embarrassing he could be by being a goof or showing her fatherly affection in public, even after she was an adult. His influence over he was her more outgoing, optimistic, and curious sides, seeing as his positive attitude rubbed off on her and he encouraged her curiosity.
    2. How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?
      1. Ayda does not really think her mother was a parent, but more of a mentor. Her mother was distant for most of her younger years, leaving the child raising to her father, but became more involved with Ayda once she started her formal combat training. The Avanthar hated how distant her mother was, and later how she had a strict, “tough love” mentality towards her daughter. She now appreciates how stubborn and driven her mother was, especially when it came to her combat training and giving her the skills to survive and live a good life. Her mother's influence over her would be more of her stubborn, strong willed side, and her skill with her axes. That is mostly because she refused to let her daughter give up on the path to becoming a warrior and pushed her into the school of Ularenn after Ayda failed in the school of Avant.
    3. Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?
      1. Ayda had one brother, who she lovingly called Lal. She loves him with all her heart and misses him dearly. She sees him as another parent since he would often take care of her when their actual parents were out on raids. Even though she would do almost anything for him, there relationship was far from perfect. Ayda thought, and still thinks, that he was an annoying pain in the rear. He liked to antagonize and tease his little sister and the two would often get into fights that ended in physical confrontations. They usually made up, though, only to get into another argument later on that could end just as badly, if not worse, than the previous one.
    4. What type of disciple was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?
      1. Ayda’s parents were pretty lenient and let their children do whatever they wanted, as long as they were not seriously injured or killed. They did have a few rules that Ayda had to follow though, but for the most part those involved using common sense and not being an idiot. The only times they would step and assert authority would be when something serious happened to their children. A few notable times they had to do this was when Ayda accidentally almost shot a Pröta’ll with an arrow (one of the many reasons she dropped out of Avant) or whenever their kids got into mischief.
    5. Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
      1. No, not really. Ayda was pretty much free to do what she wanted, when she wanted, and hopefully learn from the consequences when she messed up.
    6. Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?
      1. It really depended on the parent. Ayda felt affection towards her father and brother, and most of the time that sense of affection was mutual. With her mother, though, Ayda felt more rejected since the older Avanthar played a very small part in raising her daughter, sometimes even outright ignoring her duties as a mother.
    7. What was the economic status of their family?
      1. Poor
    8. How does your character feel about religion?
      1. Ayda feels pretty strongly about religion. She currently worships a combination of Old Gods and the Faith of Estel, but generally says she worships Old Gods when asked. She is fairly accepting of the other forms of Estel worship and hates any void-based religion. Unionism, on the other hand, is more of a grey area for Ayda. She would never convert, having experienced various forms of abuse from its worshipers multiple times. She also disagrees with its view on Nelfin. She would never publicly denounce Unionism, though, and is generally supportive of her Unionist friends.
    9. What about political beliefs?
      1. Centrest, but she prefers to stay out of politics.
    10. Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
      1. Slow-witted, but she still likes to learn new things. It just takes a while.
    11. How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?
      1. Ayda knows she is uneducated and slow. She is very insecure about it and tends to snap at people who point it out.
    12. How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?
      1. Ayda’s speech reflects her lackluster education with its frequent use of contractions and her habit of simplifying words so they are easier for her to say. She also tends to explain things rather than say what they are, showing how she still struggles to speak Common.
    13. Did they like school, if they went?
      1. Avant, no. Ayda struggled and frankly hated using the bow and arrow. She eventually flunked out and switched schools to the School of Ularenn, which she enjoyed and did much better in.
    14. What did they study if they went to school? To what level?
      1. How to dual wield and throw axes. She studied to the warrior level.
    15. What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like and dislike about it?
      1. House Guard: Ayda is a house guard for house Wodenstaff. She sees it as a way to utilize her skills and, to an extent, make her less of a target for raceists. She likes the people she guards and doing her job in general, but she hates all the standing around that she does. At the same time, though, she kind of likes it because it means that no one is trying to harm a Wodenstaff.
      2. Safeguard Ranger: Ayda is also part of the Safeguard Rangers. She sees this job as another way to use her skills to help people, along with an excuse to ride a horse. She enjoys the aforementioned horseback riding and working with a few of her friends, but dislikes some of the harsher aspects of the job.
    16. Did they travel? Where? Why? When?
      1. Yep. She traveled around the Southern part of Daen, never venturing further north than Daendroc. She traveled because she was curious and wanted to see what was outside of the Ularenn Hordelands. Her travels lasted from 299 to 304 A.C.
    17. What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?
      1. The biggest would probably be that she sees Orcs as animals rather than people. Otherwise, she does not really have any that I can think of.
    18. What are your character's manners like?
      1. Not great. While she tries to respect and act well behaved around her superiors and elders, the Avanthar has very little experience with etiquette and often slips up.
    19. Who are their friends? Lovers?
      1. See character app
    20. What do they want from a lover?
      1. Ayda would want someone who can be her rock. She would like someone who could support and deal with her when she's in a mood, as well as be there for her when she needs them. Along with that, they would have to let her go do her own thing and not be controlling of her and her actions. She would also like someone who can cook, since she is a horrible chef and needs someone in her life who can make decent food.
    21. What are their hobbies and interests?
      1. Combat stuff, outdoorsy stuff, and to an extent, sailing.
    22. What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?
      1. Very disorganised and decorated with many tribal, Avanthar-ish items, almost like she was trying to create her own little piece of the Hordelands. Ayda personally likes anything that reminds her of home, most of which happens to be more tribal-esq objects. This can be seen on her person as well with the tribal patterns on her clothing and accessories, and the braid in her hair reflecting on her cultures use of braids to signify status.
    23. What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?
      1. She’s a hot head and mentally slow. It takes her a while to learn new things and she's generally a grouch.
    24. Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?
      1. Yes. She still despises Orcs and blames them for her brothers death. She also never forgave a specific Ailor about threatening to kill her with a shovel and often brought it up when she saw him. Ayda can forgive people easily, especially if they were once her friend. Otherwise, it can take a while to regain her trust.
    25. Does your character have any children/plan to have children? Do you believe they'd be a good parent?
      1. No. Ayda actually cannot have children, but if she could she would probably be convinced to have one or two. She would not be a great parent and would likely leave most of the caretaking to her S.O or the father.
    1. How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?
      1. Theo does not really have any opinion about her father. She rarely ever interacted with him, sometimes even going months at a time without seeing him. He had very little influence over her.
    2. How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?
      1. Theo thinks highly of her mother. While she rarely ever saw this parent either, her mother did make an effort to raise her only child. Theo disliked how little time her mother spent with her, believing that she should of made an effort to be with her sole child. As she grew older, though, the Altalar came to admire her and hoped to one day achieve a high position like her mother.
    3. Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?
      1. None. Theo is an only child.
    4. What type of disciple was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?
      1. Theo had a fairly strict upbringing. She often had to attend daily religious services and was forced to spend hours studying, leaving very little room for free time. Her parents were quick to punish her when she messed up, but it was rarely, if ever, a physical punishment. Instead, she would be lectured about her mistake, then banished to a corner or her room for awhile. She was also forbidden from leaving her family's home without the strict supervision of her parents or a caretaker.
    5. Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
      1. Theo felt very overprotected as a child. She was never exposed to the harsher aspects of life, being confined to the middle or upper class areas of Ríë Rivaëlla. Almost everything she was told about the world was through the lense of elven supremacy, which the young Altalar accepted fairly easily. While it became less prevalent when she left home for the academy, Theo was still sheltered to some extend until she reached adulthood.
    6. Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?
      1. Rejection. Her parents absence often made Theo wonder if she was not good enough, so she often tried to act like the perfect child when they were around.
    7. What was the economic status of their family?
      1. Wealthy
    8. How does your character feel about religion?
      1. Strongly. Theo follows the Altalar denomination of the faith of Estel and would never consider converting. She sees all other religions as inferior to the faith, but would never state this publicly. Even so, Theo is currently trying to learn more about Unionism. Not because she is a prospect convert, but more so she can save herself or her allies from another event like the faith pogrom.
    9. What about political beliefs?
      1. Elven conservative.
    10. Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
      1. Intelligent.
    11. How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?
      1. Intelligent, of course. She often makes it very well known that she sees herself this way, too.
    12. How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?
      1. Theos intelligence reflects in her speech with her lack of contraction use and how she often make use of longer, more formal words.
    13. Did they like school, if they went?
      1. Yes, she did.
    14. What did they study if they went to school? To what level?
      1. Theo studied Elven History and worked her way up to the level of scholar.
    15. What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like and dislike about it?
      1. Currently, Theo does freelance scholar work to support herself. She likes being able to utilize her knowledge, but at the same time she dislikes how hard it is to find a job and keep it.
    16. Did they travel? Where? Why? When?
      1. Yep. Theo traveled around the continent of Daen and to other lands that were significant in the history of her people. She did this to study various ruins and places of historical significance. Her travels lasted from when she graduated from the academy to when her father contracted his illness.
    17. What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?
      1. Elven supremacy, especially now. Theo refuses to accept that the time of Elven superiority has passed. She believes that the recently re-established empire will rise to its former glory, even though the world has changed significantly since that time.
    18. What are your character's manners like?
      1. Pretty good. While she can be egotistical at times, Theo generally treats her superiors and those she respects with reverence. She also tends to be well behaved, almost always keeping a cool head and only responding with sarcasm when aggravated.
    19. Who are their friends? Lovers?
      1. See Character app
    20. What do they want from a lover?
      1. Someone who could be her partner in crime, so to speak. Theo would want someone who can support her, as well as advise her on her actions. She would also prefer a fellow Altalar scholar for a lover.
    21. What are their hobbies and interests?
      1. Calligraphy, reading, and a small amount of writing. She also enjoys finding out about the history of a place and its people.
    22. What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?
      1. Very well organized, since Theo prefers to keep a very neat and tidy living space. Almost everything is neatly stored away in drawers or on shelves. She also seems to have a preference for the finer things in life, but her tastes would be considered much less extravagant than most Altalar. She has a few ornate decorations in her house, most of which happen to be antiques. Appearance wise, Theo tends to appear put together. Her hair is usually pulled up into a neat bun, while her clothing is orderly and unruffled.
    23. What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?
      1. Physically, she has horrible eyesight and is pretty much built like a twig. Mentally, probably her selfish nature and arrogance.
    24. Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?
      1. No, not really. It is very hard to get Theo to forgive someone for their transgressions and even harder to get her to trust them again.
    25. Does your character have any children/plan to have children? Do you believe they'd be a good parent?
      1. As of right now, no. Theo does eventually want to have children, but that is not an immediate concern for her. She would not be a great parent because of her selfish nature and general inexperience with children.

How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?

Harald has a rather small memory of his father. He was sent to live with the Viridian Elders at a very young age and the minimal years he did have in his homeland were spent learning basic etiquette and general studies. Needless to say, his real father had minimal interaction with him. The influence is backed by stories of his father's alleged greatness. He sees himself living up to the idealized image of a man who barely raised him.

How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?

Harald's relationship with his mother is similar to his father, but in a more direct approach. She had more interactions with Harald as a boy, but nothing to create a long lasting impact on the man.

Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?

His relationship with his brother Dietrich is rather close despite the two living two separate lives and not seeing each other until they were grown men. Harald views his brother as an idealized Drache, seeing much of his father in the man. At many times he questions the decisions made by the man, especially with the removal of his daughter from the family. Harald doesn't resent Dietrich over this, instead he sees it as his own inability as a father and seeks some semblance of redemption in his daughter, who he views as having failed.

What type of disciple was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?

Strict. Even ignoring the upbringing in Drachenburg, he was raised by the greatest knights of the Viridian Order. There were expectations to be had.

Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?

Not sheltered, but definitely isolated from the outside world. He lived inside of the Viridian Castle for many years, having minimal interactions with the outside world, experiencing most of it through literature. He was raised to serve as a Commander for the Viridian Order and as such was destined to experience the cruelness of battle, he didn't have any true experiences until graduation. It's all a matter of perspective on what being sheltered is.

Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?

He felt some form of rejection, being sent away as a child. Though no grudges are held due to the great amount of attention provided to him as he advanced in his studies with the Elders.

What was the economic status of their family?

    They got cash

How does your character feel about religion?

He feels strongly about religion, to a point of bordering zealotry. The Viridian Order is based on Unionist teachings and when you factor in the long time spent there this ideology shaped Harald into what he is. However, he also witnessed many men being expelled from the Order and began to view all men as being corruptible, no matter what they wish to achieve. This notion has led him to get into verbal confrontations with reverends to out Unionist them. While he won't outright state them as incorrect, he will take their words with a grain of salt.

    What about political beliefs?

Harald is relatively conservative. His ideals are centralized within the Archipelago and are heavenly influenced by Unionism.

Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?

It's a mix of street-smarts and book-smarts. He is an intelligent man, but this is only caused by his ability to retain information. It becomes difficult for him to adapt on the spot, but given time to reflect he has an arsenal of interesting facts and practical knowledge. His years of combat experience and frequent travel has provided him a degree of street-smarts, understanding how people function and how to gauge a situation.

How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?

He sees himself not in terms of being smart or educated, he simply sees himself being fortunate to have been awarded such a high education. He is actually quite humble which is ironic for a Viridian Knight, since those within the Order frequently look for loopholes to brag about their skillsets. Harald is just a simple man, but he does not see himself as dumb.

How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?

Very much. Harald attempts to uphold as much civility as he can, though recent events have seen a decrease in his finesse of language.

Did they like school, if they went?

Yes. It was quite literally his life, he likes to live and is content with most situations.

What did they study if they went to school? To what level?

He studied bannership under the Elders, however, the skill was learned more from practical application in the field. He is at the highest level he can achieve for the skill, acting as a Field Commander from time to time.

How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him?
What influence - literal or imagined - did they have on your character?

Aelfric, due to being admitted to Seminary at the young age of four, does not remember his father in the greatest detail. The only times he saw his father were his visits to Anglia for business at his verwaltung, and finally at the man's funeral. Even though his visits were short, Aelfric enjoyed the time with his father, and did not see his flaws. At that, his father did not have much of an influence on Aelfric through his daily life.
How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?
The same goes for his mother, the both, father and mother not having a large part in the Reverend's life. Therefore, he saw his mother as the same, kind, and enjoyed the time spent with her as well.
Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?
Aelfric was an only child, only living with a female Anglian Shepard which he considered his sister.
What type of disciple was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?
Aelfric, growing up as a inhabitant of the seminary was disciplined, his mentors being strict towards the young boy.
Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?

Aelfric did not at all feel overprotected, though not free as well. More so closed off in a way until the young boy grew and became a curate. This is due to Aelfric not being raised by the nurturing hand of a loving parent, being raised by mentors who gave the boy the respect he deserved though did not hold the love for him as his parents would of.
Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?
Aelfric, during his childhood, did not feel rejection nor affection. He felt that his parents made the right decision by sending him to seminary, not feeling affection due to him being raised in the hands of mentors and not birth-parents. As Aelfric looks back on his childhood, he is glad that his parents sent him to Basta to attend seminary, though still feels a slight sense of regret as he would of wished for his parents to play a larger role in his life.
What was the economic status of their family?
The family of Aherne's economic status was wealthy, being born to a successful farmer who was his father, and a woman who was born to a wealthy Anglian family which sold jewelry being his mother. Aelfric was not able to enjoy his family's wealthy status for long however as he was sent to seminary. The elderly Reverend in the present holds the assets of his family now, such as the somewhat estate that stood at the farm which his family earned most of it's regals from.
How does your character feel about religion?
Aelfric, explained by the occupation which the REVEREND took on is a devout Unionist. The elderly Ailor prides himself in his workings, being a mentor of Unionism. This is one thing that he is truly grateful to his parents for. The choice they made to send him off to seminary, his father and mother allowing him to pursue the position of Reverend and surely placing down the ground work, Aelfric having to put up the metaphorical house which would be soon built on top.
    What about political beliefs?
Aelfric does not really place himself in a political ideal group. Therefore, Aelfric places forward his Themai, the Themai of Thal, to explain his political beliefs, being a "old school" man who believes in the olden workings of things. Aelfric could also be considered a "Sancellist", or will sometimes explain his ideals as a Unionist, which entails placing the Ailor's well-being first, and a devout believer in the Spirit, including the Great Way, finding any way to assist Regalia's efforts.
Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
Aelfric can be seen as an intellectual or "book-smart", being able to hold his own in a battle of wits. Though, Aelfric's street-smart nature can equal with these intellectual categories. Aelfric will be placed in the street-smart category due to his age, holding a large amount of knowledge on the workings of the city, able to site danger upon the streets of Regalia and knows how to get his way out of a confrontation of sorts if need-be.
How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?
Aelfric sees himself as intelligent, his proof being his years able to study multiple topics fully. Aelfric holds no arrogance for this though, allowing others to make decisions upon Aelfric's intelligence, personality and the like on their own.
How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?
Aelfric's intelligence reflects on his vocabulary, able to throw in some "spicy" words into the sentences which he emits. His intelligence does not show a profound reflection upon his pattern, as said, the elderly Reverend not holding any arrogance for his advantage in intellectual points.
Did they like school, if they went?
Aelfric did enjoy seminary, being a fast learner. The young boy at that time had a small group of friends, though this was all Aelfric needed. Other then speaking with his small group of friends in his free-time, Ael usually found himself focused upon his studies, making sure to learn in private as well so he could show his full abilities during his teachings.
What did they study if they went to school? To what level?
Aelfric during seminary, studied reading, mathematics, participated in choir, the Creeds, and etiquette. The level on which he learned these studies was to his full potential, some of these "extra" teaching being bought by his parents, his mother and father spending some of their economic value to make sure Aelfric learned to his fullest potential.
What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like and dislike about it?
Aelfric's profession is holding the position of Reverend of the Sancella, and member of the Holy Synod. Due to the elderly Ailor being a devout Unionist, Aelfric sees his profession as an honor to have gained. Therefore, the Reverend does not really have any dislikes to being a Reverend, enjoying every moment of it.
Did they travel? Where? Why? When?

Aelfric has never traveled out of the Archipel, though travels from the Holy City to Anglia and Basta. These trips happen frequently, at least six times each year and sometimes the more. The reasoning for these travels is usually for business, visiting his verwaltung in Anglia and traveling to the Holy Land of the Sancella, Basta.
What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?
Earlier in life, Aelfric's deepest disillusion was the progress that the Sancella sometimes took, as he is a member of the Themai of Thal. Now, the elderly Reverend's deepest disillusion has to be the disrespect that the "lesser" as he calls them show towards the Ailor and the defiance that some take to undermine the Great Way, Regalia, the Government, and Humanum. This usually means others finding him reprimanding and correcting "lessers".
What are your character's manners like?
Aelfric's manners are courteous, showing respect towards others that find themselves in service to the Great Way, the Emperor/Spirit, and Regalia. You won't usually find him bowing to others unless they are His Imperial Holliness, or possibly someone who has committed a great and noble act to further the Great Way, Regalia, and Regalian goals.
    Who are their friends? Lovers?
Aelfric's friends are most Ailor, highly respectful and Unionist lessers which are quite rare to be found in his assortment of friends, and members of the Sancella. Due to Aelfric's position as a Reverend, Aelfric has no lovers and has never sought one out.
What do they want from a lover?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Aelfric is a Reverend and his relationship is with Unionism.
What are their hobbies and interests?
One of Aelfric's hobbies is playing the piano. He has gained a somewhat mastery of the instrument, knowing an assortment of pieces which he is able to play to full completion and close to perfection. The man practices the piano in his free-time everyday, hoping to one day perform for an audience.
What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?
Aelfric holds two homes in his possession. His estate in Anglia, and a home in the Holy City. The décor in the estate is seen as lavish of sorts, his parent's taste as he kept everything the same as the way the two left it as they ascended to the Everwatch. His home in the Holy City is quite large, though the décor inside is quite humble. Each of these homes are neat and tidy, Aelfric enjoying swift access to items and an organized living space. His attire reflects wealth, though does not possess gold linings and the like, unless you speak of his Sancella robes. Therefore, his clothing, hair, etc reflect his neat and tidy characteristic though do not show as a humble commoner.
What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?
Aelfric's main internal and physical weakness share the same reason. His old age. In internal terms, he knows he only has a few years left and although he projects a free air about this, Aelfric is afraid that he will not be able to fulfill his duties to their completion. Now, in physical terms, Aelfric is severely weakened by his age. The elderly Ailor is of eighty-one years of age, and he shows this prominently in his movements. The man uses a cane to assist him in walking about. Steps anger him to a great extent, not due to the difficulty, though due to it being proof that his remaining time on Aloria is short.
Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?
Aelfric does not hold any grudges from the past. The slight thing he holds onto from the past is the regret that he feels from not having a role in his parents later years before their deaths. This grudge is mostly held on himself, and he likely will not be forgiving this action anytime soon.
Does your character have any children/plan to have children? Do you believe they'd be a good parent?
Again, the elderly Ailor is a Reverend. He does not pursue relationships and he holds his Anglian Shepard Chance as his child.

How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?
Lucien adored his father for the time he was alive, though his father met his demise in battle. His father remained his role model for the largest part of his life, even going as far as Lucien trying to fill the gap in the family left behind by his father. So, while he loves his father dearly, he hated him for dying, for a very short time.
How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?
Lucien loves his mother, though he rarely sees her. His mother has had a very positive impact on his life, and while she doesn't really impact him much now, she taught him his manners and his etiquette, and he loves her for being around after the loss of his father.
Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?
His favourite sibling is his slightly older brother, Bryn, though he does hate a few things about this sibling. Whilst they have a rather close sibling bond, Lucien detests how much Bryn drinks, even though he sympathises with him. He wishes Bryn would just let go, and move on, because the way he's holding onto the past isn't healthy. His younger sibling is his sister, and while they get along, they are not especially close.
What type of disciple was your character under at home? Strict, lenient?
Fairly lenient, for as long as he stayed on the grounds he could mainly do as he wished. His parents were around enough for them to be a presence in his childhood, but they weren't always there, and Lucien would often occupy himself in the grounds of his family home.
Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
He was relatively sheltered from most things, due to his parents wanting to keep him safe. He rarely felt overprotected- only at times where his parents restricted movement did he feel like this.
Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?
Great amounts of affection from his parents, especially his father when he was home. Lucien was very much a Daddy's boy, and the affection shown by his father only strengthened this.
What was the economic status of their family?
The Rosendahl's are Nobles, so Lucien was brought up in wealth. While not excessively high nobles, the Rosendahl's had enough wealth to happily allow Lucien all the things he wanted for.
How does your character feel about religion?
He's a devout unionist, and his beliefs on this will likely never change. He was raised as a Unionist, and he attends masses and sermons regularly.
    What about political beliefs?
He follows the same political views as the majority of his family. (Conservative, I believe.)
Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
Intelligent is a good word to use. He spent five years in the Discipline of Battle Command, and it shows. Able to hold his own in any skirmish of wit, and fully literate, Lucien is a smart cookie.
How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?
Much like above, Lucien is intelligent, and he knows it. While he doesn't flaunt his education, it often comes up in conversation, and he likes to mention it when School's enter the discussion.
How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?
His words are clearly pronounced, with little to no accent upon them. He is both a native Common and Leutz-Vixe speaker, and is fluent in both, his vocabulary wide.
Did they like school, if they went?
He enjoyed his school a lot, and counts those five years as some very important years in his life. He made friends, most of which he has fallen out of contact with, and overall just enjoyed his education.
What did they study if they went to school? To what level?
He went to the School of Leadership, and spent five years in the Discipline of Battle Command, leaving at Learned. He also has spent two years learning in the School of Falkentrag, and this education is not yet complete.
What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like and dislike about it?
He's head guard of his house, and he mainly enjoys the job, though finds it stressful at times. He enjoys the fact that he can guard and protect his family, but he dislikes how stressful it can be.
Did they travel? Where? Why? When?
He's rarely traveled in his life, merely going to boarding school, then home, then Regalia, where he now permanently resides.
What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?
    TBA
What are your character's manners like?
He has good manners, taught by his mother in his younger years, and a habit that stuck. He is respectful to all others in the peerage, and polite to most others.
    Who are their friends? Lovers?
He has a few friends, though not masses. He does, also, have a lover (Solaine d'Vaud (@Mayaran)), who is someone that is very close to him.
What do they want from a lover?
    Exactly what he's gotten.

He wants someone who can share interests with him, and listen when he needs it. Someone who he could trust. Lucien wanted someone who could have ambitions and goals and be able to share these with him. He wanted someone who could be support where he needed, and a clear head when his was not. Someone who could purely be there when he needed her and provide another thought process when his made no sense. Someone who he could love and who would love him back.
What are their hobbies and interests?
Among other things, Lucien enjoys music, horse riding and cooking. He also enjoys reading. When he has time to spare, he'll most likely be cooking some food in the kitchens or playing his guitar/piano.
What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?
His living space is actually quite ordered, everything in drawers or in piles, and mainly without mess. His tastes are less to suits are more to clothes that, while still noble, have an aspect of casualness to them. His clothes reflect this, in the way that while noble in nature, they are not overwhelmingly formal.
What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?
Physically, Lucien is small compared to the vast majority of other males, and this can provide a disadvantage when he doesn't have his usual weapon. Due to his smaller size, he can often be overwhelmed by a larger opponent, and without his sword or a falcon, he can do little damage to them.
Internally, he's still grieving for his father, because he never really had time to. Bringing him up can upset Lucien to the point where he cuts down his socialization by a massive amount, because it upsets the balance in his life.
Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?
    TBA
Does your character have any children/plan to have children? Do you believe they'd be a good parent?
Lucien does, in time. He wants to have children, and he believes he'd be a good father.
I believe he would be a good dad, albeit slightly overprotective when it came down to it. He'd encourage the military among all of his children, regardless of gender, and would most likely push them towards some form of combat school. He might be a bit strict at time, but I think he'd just be looking out for them.

Just because I did the other one, why not this one too?
How does your character think of their father? What do they love and hate about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did they have over your character?: Solaine sadly never knew her father that well, due to her moving constantly between family members. Though she has heard tales of him, and respects the man for who he was and what e had achieved.
How does your character think of their mother? What do they love and hate about her? What influence- literal or imagined- did they have over your character?: Same goes to her mother as her father, only tales and stories. She does remember a little from when she was a child, and that was the lullaby her mother used to sing when Solaine was throwing a fit to calm her down.
Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their sibling(s)?: Let's start from oldest to youngest of her siblings.
Hamelin, though she respects this man more than anyone she does see his views and opinions.. Rather strict. This, of course, is due to her open minded self.
Ida, her favorite of her siblings. She always looked up to her, wishing to be as beautiful, caring, loved and brave as her. She knows she will never be, but, Ida is her role model and always has been.
And then.. Czylle.. Solaine does not know what she feels for her youngest sister. She loves her to death, of course, but other than that her opinions on her are very mixed. Not even she knows what these feelings are.
What type of disciple was your character under at home? Strict, lenient? Solaine was brought up many different ways, some more strict than others. She adapted to these switches quickly, learning when to be on point and when she can relax her tone.
Did they feel overprotected as a child? Sheltered?: As she moved quite a lot, she never felt as sheltered as she could have. She lived comfortably, yes, but the constant moving got tiring very quickly.
Did they feel Rejection or affection as a child?: Very rejected. She did not feel welcomed anywhere, making her main goal to impress her family with something. Some skill, or achievement, though she still does not know what she could do to impress them.
What was the economic status of their family? A little.. Wishy washy as per say. It was enough to give her a 'fancy life-style', to put it bluntly.
How does your character feel about religion?: A must. Unionism in her opinion is the upper power which must be followed, and those whom break the holy laws must be ridiculed and shamed for their heresy.
What about political beliefs?: The same as her family.
Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?: Some have said she is wise for her young age, speaking words with meaning behind them. Every word she speaks when it comes to explanations of a situations are from long thoughts, long sessions of understanding and finding a view on it.
How do they see themselves: as smart, intelligent, uneducated?: Intelligent, though she does not see herself as someone to go to for advice on life altering choices.
How does their intelligence and education- or lack thereof- reflect in their speech pattern, vocabulary, and pronunciation?: She speaks very proper when she sees it fit, always making sure her wording is precise, but also understandable.
Did they like school, if they went?: Solaine adored her school years. The new environment, the teachings, everything about it she loved. She did not speak with many though, leading to her not knowing barely anyone when she graduated.
What did they study if they went to school? To what level?: She attended the school of Griffer, attaining warrior level through five short years of training.
What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like and dislike about it?: Even though she does not necessarily want this profession, she works as a bartender in her family's bar. She bakes everything there, keeping everything in order, or... As much as she can anyway. She also works in the Violet Guard force, though often spends her time in the Premise.
Did they travel? Where? Why? When?: Mostly during her childhood. Not one year went by before she traveled somewhere else, often by ship or caravan.
What are your character's deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?: TBA
What are your character's manners like?: Always polite. She sees no need to be rude, unless she was spoken to rudely first.
Who are their friends? Lovers?: Solaine has few friends, often only seeing them as acquaintances. Though she has one good friend, Ana du Polignac. She sees her as her best friend.
She also has a lover, one even herself is surprised to have, Lucien Rosendahl.
What do they want from a lover?: Nothing more than she's gotten.
Someone who is there for comfort and who cares about her, not just for her title or appearance, but for her, even her broken sides. She would not want to ever feel ashamed to be herself in front of them. Someone who can show her everything she is not able to see, new views, new ideas, suggestions. Someone to keep her safe, and someone she can joke around with when no one is watching them like hawks.
What are their hobbies and interests?: She writes, fences, and has begun picking up singing. She does not do any of these for the public to hear or see, though.
What does your character's home look like? What are their personal tastes? Do their hair, clothing, etc reflect this?: Comfortable but stylish. She always want to look her best, but never to the point where she's uncomfortable. Her dress sits neatly against her form, not tightening it, only fitting against it.
What is your character's weaknesses? Physical and internal?: She is more one to be in the defensive stance in battle as her muscles are rather weak. She also gets easily flustered, perhaps a bit too easy, though she tries her best to always keep her composure.
Are they holding onto something from the past? Can he or she forgive?: Solaine is one to not hold grudges, forgiving someone quickly, depending on what they have done.
Does your character have any children/plan to have children? Do you believe they'd be a good parent?: Solaine does not have any children, though she wishes to have at least one child in her life at some point. She believes that she would be a good mother, as she already is a good cat mom.
