Personality Traits

• Calm: Richard is always calm no matter what situation he's in. Even when other people are panicking he'll stay calm enough to think of a plan. This makes him a good fighter in big or small fights. His level head also makes him many friends and allies.
• Friendly: Richard is polite a nice to people that he first meets. But once he gets to know them he judges if they're bad or good and most people he judges bad. This causes him to disrespect many people who he judges bad. This also makes him many enemies.
• Humorous: Richard is an extremely funny person and it's also very easy to make him laugh. His deep booming laugh makes many people feel at ease, which he can use to his advantage if he wants to pickpocket them later. It also makes him seem to be a very easy going person. This makes him many friends.
  
• Unforgiving: Richard never forgets something done to him and most likely will never forgive the person till he exacts his revenge. He would never forget a rude person or someone who did something bad to him or a friend. Richard would hunt the person down and make them sorry for what they did. This makes Richard seem cruel to some people but he won't just forgive something right away and pretend that everything is fine with the person.
  
• Adventurous: Richard gets bored very easily which makes him curious and want to seek out adventure. Whether he's helping someone in need or fighting someone he can't get quite enough of it and always hungers for more. This causes him to make a lot of enemies in fights though and sometimes a few friends. He gets into trouble most of the time because of this but still wants to adventure.
• Stubborn: Richard is very stubborn and usually never listens to anyone, especially people he doesn't care for. He always wants his way whether it's possible or not he will always try. This makes him seem annoying and a fool to most folk, but his friends know him enough to not care. Richard would go to take on a force larger than himself just because he wants to, even if he had no one to help.

Personality and Abilities

• First Paragraph: How is your character perceived by others? Richard is seen as a clever and thieving scoundrel when people get to know him. If someone first met Richard they would think him a calm and friendly person. If they heard of him by a person who doesn't know him well they would think he is a polite fellow who they could be friends with. If they heard about him from a person who knows him well, they would think him a thieving peasant who should be locked up.
• Second Paragraph: How does your character feel inside? Richard feels that he needs to protect and stand up for himself at all times making him act impulsively. He feels he needs to do this ever since his parents died and he was on the streets alone. He also has a big fear of losing his people since his parents died. This makes it harder for him to make friends since he doesn't want to get attached to them. Richard feels he is always right which makes him stubborn and gets him into trouble.
• Third Paragraph: How does your character act towards friends and family? Richard acts easygoing with close friends but talks to them about his crimes and such because he's comfortable with them and knows they won't turn on him. He makes more jokes, laughs more and all in all talks more when with friends. But with strangers he doesn't laugh or smile as much and doesn't talk about his "work". He acts more comfortable with friends than with strangers and the closer the friend, the more the comfortable he is.
• Fourth Paragraph: What is your character’s morality? Richard may seem a bad person when you get to know that he sometimes steals but he isn't. He steals from people who are wealthy and not from people who are poor like him. He will also interrupt something if he thinks it unjust or wrong. He makes medicines to help people as well. This makes him a neutral person not good, but not bad.

Talents

• Thievery: Richard is very skilled in picking locks and being a pickpocket. Having grown up in slums of Regalia he was always trying to steal something to keep himself alive. This makes him a valuable asset for someone wanting to break into someplace or to steal something from off a person. This brings him enough to stay alive. At the moment he is settled down and doesn't need the skill.
• Agility: Richard is a very swift person having always been running away from people he stole from or from guards. He uses his speed along with his bow and dagger to help him fight. This helps him find a good spot to use his bow from and to use his dagger to quickly dodge and slash at someone. Without his speed he would end up dead or in a cell.
• Alchemy: When Richard was 17 he met and made friends with an Allar named Zzickar. Zzickar taught him basic alchemy. He started selling his medicines for money till he could afford to go to the School of Alchemy. This is a very helpful skill for when he needs to make some money or help a friend out.

Weaknesses

• Strength: Richard can't fight with brute force since he isn't very strong. He has to rely on his skills and on tactics to take the person down. If in a fight with a stronger person he would fight from afar with his bow trying not to let them close and trying to keep them at bay. This makes him have to run away from some fights if it comes down to melee or hand to hand combat.
• Impatient: Richard is very impatient and can never wait long for someone to do something. He will always go do it himself or argue with the person that they should do it know. Richard values time and doesn't want to waste it waiting. This makes always in a rush and annoys some people, but his very close friends have gotten used to it.
• Blind (Left Eye): When Richard was 16 he was caught as he was pickpocketing from a fire mage. The mage pushed him back in surprise and started to cast a spell. Richard tried to stop him with his dagger but was too late to pull it out. The left side of Richard's face is burned, his left eye blind and the scar is still there serving as a reminder to be more cautious.

Life Story
Richard was born January 12, 292AC onto the streets of Regalia by his parents Edmund Northwode and Elizabeth Northwode. He grew up learning how to haggle and protect himself. At the age of 8 Richard's parents left in the morning to go somewhere (They didn't tell Richard) and never returned. Richard waited for about 3 days for his parents to return to their small home but no one came. Richard after mourning knew that he had to survive on his own and gathered what was valuable from the house before he was kicked out.

When Richard was about 14 he started doing more tricky jobs than just pickpocketing, he started to rob houses and soon started selling the valuables he found earning himself enough food to survive for a while. He made a few friends on the streets who he survived with till they split up, each going their separate ways.

When Richard turned 17 he made friends with an Allar named Zzickar who taught the basics of alchemy and helped him make a good amount of money selling his medicines. Zzickar recommended him for the School of Alchemy. Once there Richard took Discipline of Alchemic Theory and History reaching and expert level of understanding before leaving.

Now at age 23 Richard sells medicines to people and comes over to their houses looking at their wounds. He also sells few poisons and combat used concoctions to some shady people. He hopes to join a group of doctors soon.
