    Basic Information
    • Argol is a 43 year old male Maiar
    • He is an only child born to a mage living as a hermit in the Ithanian swamps
    • He lives in a re-purposed crypt within the Ravensong's walls, though he tends to wander around Regalia when given the chance
    • Argol's goal is to become a better mage than his father, typically traveling to old libraries to find books on his preferred magic
    Visual Information
    Body Description

    • Argol is a tall thin man, though not without some strength, standing at 6 feet, 3 inches, and weighs about 180 pounds. He has some muscle, enough to allow him to swim as fast as most Maiar, boasting stamina to match his natural speed.
    • Argol has grey skin and no tattoos
    Head Description
    • Argol has a round head, thin at the sides and a little long
    • His eyes are an odd pink that seem to glow in the dark, and never seem to blink
    • He has no fins on his head, but rather has tentacles over his mouth
    Clothing and Accessories
    • Argol wears dark robes made from the silk of the spiders that roam around at night, died in grey or pink in some places
    • He had heard before coming to Regalia that mages are required to wear lapis collars, so he crafted one of his own so he would not need to be detained for being a mage

    Behavior Information
    Personality Traits

    • Patient: Argol is an incredibly patient man, willing to wait hours for something to happen. He also tends to carry various books to read while waiting.
    • Quick Thinking: He is able to formulate complex plans in a matter of 30 seconds, and carry them out with as much ease.
    • Arrogant: for all his intelligence, Argol still falls victim to grandiose thinking, tending to think more of himself than he should.
    • Naive: Argol has little understanding of the Regalian life style, and even less understanding of Regalia's prejudices, which leads him to misunderstand many things other people do.
    Likes
    • Argol enjoys practicing his magic and learning new ways to use it, sometimes dedicating weeks to this end with little sleep.
    • He also enjoys a good book, being able to lose himself in a novel after reading the first few lines and usually not stopping until he is disturbed or he is done with the book.
    • Argol also likes wandering around Regalia, having never seen architecture quite like what the humans had used to build the city.
    Dislikes
    • Argol dislikes pointless fights or violence, believing that all confrontations should have a reason behind them.
    Abilities and Disabilities
    Strengths

    • Solid Frost Magic: Argol began learning from the age of 8, and by the time he could begin casting at 14, he had already memorized many magical theories and spells pertaining to this form. By the time he left his swamp home to travel at age 20, he had already become a journeyman mage. at the age of 38, he finally became an expert at Solid Frost magic and began focusing on finding new ways to use what he knew rather than learning anything new. He is acclaimed as the first non elf-born mage to be given the title of Shardseer.
    • Strategic Mind: Argol is able to analyze a situation quickly, and respond to it.
    • Wisdom: Despite his relatively young age compared to most wise men, Argol has seen much in his travels, learning about things that most people only learn at a greater age.
    Weaknesses
    • Argol cannot withstand much physical abuse due to his relatively weak form and lack of combat experience.
    • Argol is also Obsessive Compulsive, and has a tendency to over-think simple problems.
    • He has never had to deal with people like those in Regalia, and so has no idea how to react to some of their actions or words.
    Combat Styles
    • Defensive: Argol typically uses defensive tactics when in a confrontation, never doing anything to harm his foes. He typically uses his magic to freeze the ground or air in an attempt to slow or halt their attacks, then tries to get close enough to his attacker to temporarily freeze their limbs.
    • Offensive: Argol is also able to deal with foes offensively, forming shards of ice out of the moisture in the air and launching them at enemies, or making ice form along the ground or walls only to have it spike outwards. He is also partial to flash freezing the air or even his enemies.
    Weapons of Choice
    • If forced into a physical fight, Argol would prefer the use of a scythe.

    Relationships
    • Sezkol: Father and mentor of Argol, and one of few maiar ice mages.

    Life Story

Argol was born in the middle of an Ithanian swamp. His mother died soon after the birth, leaving his father Sezkol to raise him alone. Upon reaching age 8, Sezkol began to teach Argol about magic. Throughout the years before he could cast, Argol studied magical theories and techniques extensively, memorizing many of them, which gave him a head start when he began casting at 14. Over the next 6 years he trained constantly, rarely ever stopping to eat and only sleeping when he collapsed in exhaustion. When he left home to travel at age 20, Argol was already a Journeyman mage ready to go and learn on his own. During his travels in Ithania, he continued to practice his magic in an attempt to become a better mage, traveling to many magically relevant towns and cities, eventually leaving Ithania for other lands. In Daendroc Argol finally achieved expert level in Solid Frost, simultaneously earning the title Shardseer, becoming the first non-elf to do so. However, due to this new title, Argol became arrogant, thinking more of himself than he deserved. He became somewhat obsessive compulsive, over-thinking simple problems as a means to attempt to keep this title. He continued traveling until he reached the age of 43, at which point he heard about Regalia and decided to travel there next. Upon entering the city and witnessing the decorative architecture, he decided on staying in Regalia long term. He has yet to find a home here, though the Ravensong Family offered him a place to stay until he does.

This is pretty good! I don't really see anything wrong with it.

    • You start study at fourteen, and begin casting at probably 17 or 18. You got some stuff mixed up
    • How would he be able to fight with a scythe? With all that studying in Magic he would have to use a knife, or nothing.
    • Make your life story has to be three paragraphs.
Well that's some of the things you need to fix. I am tagging @MegaMummy200 On this. And you @Professor Clue so you can see >.<

38 is a bit young for an expert, try the high forties if you want to be younger than the average expert. Also you did not mention his mother on you descriptions, she may have not affected you much but she is still relevant. Also there is very little magic relevant cities, only 5% of people are meant to be mages, also it is not wise to call your self the first non-elven shardseer, that venturing into special snow flake area, also I doubt you were the first non-elf too, mainly because there is a lot of powerful non-elven mages in the lore.

-You must include 8 personality traits.
-You must include 4 likes AND 4 dislikes.
-Space out your Life Story and go in more in depth on his life. One large paragraph will not cut it.
-You'll have to explain why he chose a form of Ice Magic over a form of Water Magic. As Water Magic is easier for Maiar to adapt with, having to be around water all the time.

Also follow what Mage and Billy stated on their posts, that will also help.
To be honest, I don't know much about maiar, so I can't really go in-depth on his application to do a peer review, that's why I gave you these small tips.

Right, i'll get around to that. Right now i don't have much time to be on here, just checking on it. Thanks for the advice though. And about the summery, i am quite rubbish at writing things like that, so that may take the longest to get edited. Again, thanks for the constructive criticism.
