    Ivaldi Henriksson
A being burdened by Nid, abandoning faith and tradition due to circumstance, hidden regret finalizing in the end.

A Hjordi-Kaini Ailor wanderer. Trekking across the frozen wastelands when he was much younger. Vivid memories that are kept away.

    Curator Rokenn
The once faithful, a follower betrayed by their deities, and a creation abandoned by their creator. They had left a swath of violence in their anger, their fury subsiding too late.

Bronn Bralona. Age, history, and achievements lost after their abandonment. A faithful adherer to tradition until it was ripped away. Bitter to give up control, yet desperate to give wisdom, despite how little remains.

    Ivenn
The amalgamation, a being to find his own purpose, and so that he could redeem his predecessors.

    Age & Heritage: Brakin-Bralona
Orientation: Male-Presenting, though is mostly uncaring of what you refer to them by. This also relates to attraction. Demiromantic.
    Occult: Void-Given | Ívaldi's Gift of Burden

    Appearance:
Ivenn is a Brakin, an amalgam of Ailor and Bralona ancestry. While more outwardly male-presenting, there is a sense of androgyny in his angled face, accentuated by the metals that intertwine with the sides of his face and head. Ivenn is also scarred quite heavily, but it is mostly hidden either by metal or through clothing. Their most striking feature is unnaturally harsh, glowing white eyes, complemented by a surrounding blue hue. Blue, in fact, seems to be a bit of a common motif, as the draconic light is spread out through his body, dimly glowing in draconic markings, or gaps of their metal. Their metal often flows and twists, almost like overlapping wires, although there still is an uncomfortable stiffness with their movements. As metal has unequally replaced organic material throughout the body. He has a tall, athletic, stature, but is a lot less stockier then what is seen, as due to his stature's asymmetry, he tends to wrap fabrics underneath his clothes, to also hide scars and pad when his body is uncomfortable. Like other Bralona, his resistance to temperature means he often seems out of sync with the weather, rarely altering his attire unless he feels out of place. To further decrease himself from sticking out, he also tends to opt for very plain attire, occasionally layering with cloaks and furs.

    Plothooks/Backstory
    Tangled Memories
Ivenn is the amalgamation of two individuals, resulting in a complex nature. While Ivenn possesses a self-conscious awareness of their own body, it is their mind that is most profoundly affected. They find themselves in a strange situation where their life is influenced by the memories, impulses, and unconscious experiences of their predecessors. Where does their own identity begin and the past's end? Are they one person, or many in one body? They do not know. There is a powerful urge within themselves to uncover the actions of the people they once were, yet this desire is now accompanied by a fear of losing themselves. Still they make their way forward, wanting to find the answers on, why they are the way they are.

    Where One is Born

Not so long ago, Ivenn awoke somewhere in the Gloom, amidst a shattered shrine. Draped in cobwebs and covered in vines, it seemed that the fauna and flora had long since grown accustomed to their presence. Ivenn sat there for a long time, initially pondering the nature of thought itself. After some time, they concluded that reason was the essence of the words and shapes in their mind. This led them to contemplate their identity. Two fragmented pieces came together, revealing their name: Ivenn. For quite a while, they sat, observing the grass grow and the deer forage. Eventually, wanderlust stirred within them. As they slowly remembered how to stand, they made their first steps, muttering a small apology to the spiders for disturbing their long-kept homes. These were Ivenn’s first words. Carefully, they navigated the forest, learning about the world and its inhabitants, who still trusted one of their own. Eventually, they came upon a path—a new waypoint for discovery. Ivenn still holds the Gloomrot close to their heart, almost subconsciously regarding it as sacred. They often trek and care for their birthplace, serving as a ranger for the Gloomfolk Order, alongside various strange companions that inhabit the Gloom—some blessed, others warped. The forest brings out a more impulsive side of Ivenn, for anyone who disrupts its balance is seen as threatening their place of birth.

    A Bright New World

The city was chaotic, engulfed in a pervasive sense of distrust as the final days of conflict against the Bralona drew to a close. Although most battles had ended, the war's dying breaths still left deep scars on its inhabitants. The only saving grace was Ivenn's ailor face, which caused enough confusion among the city's residents to prevent outright hostility. This semblance of acceptance allowed the half-Bralona to learn about the city and the broader world. Despite being integrated into the city now, Ivenn's curiosity remains undiminished. His knowledge of Aloria is limited to what is available in Regalia, but his quest for knowledge continues. He regularly engages with scholars and new people, always seeking to expand his understanding.

    Found Among the Forgotten

His appearance allowed him to stay unnoticed as he attempted to adapt to what the city had in store. A memory had urged Ivenn to blend in with the crowd, yet this did not last long. There were too many things he did not know, and eventually, his physical nature led some to connect the dots. The experience of a fight did not come naturally to him. The accusation of an iconoclast overtaking a human body was too perverse for the city's inhabitants to ignore. However, in a stroke of luck, the Bralona intervened. A deep memory seemed to have guided Ivenn during the confrontation, his metal bending to cover his skin. The other Bralona—full Bralla and Bronn—were too focused and uncaring about whatever nonsense a belligerent group of armed organics were up to. They assumed Ivenn was just another one of theirs. Ivenn was pulled out and 'repaired' in the way that Bralona do. When asked for identification, his lips found the right words, guided by another memory. He was sent on his way, joining the Bralona in the remaining energy of their desperate fight, a war they had not wished to fight. Memories of war and culture long passed echoed in Ivenn's mind. Alongside the stories of his compatriots, even after the battles had ceased, Ivenn identified himself as a Bralona. The plight of the end of immortality, of children, and their memories are all things that weigh on him, perhaps not all to Ivenn's consent. Still, he continues to care for the predicament of his people, and will help any forgotten soul from Basalon find their way.

    ⏤⏤══⏤⏤

Self-Determination: (Free Will, Protection of Life, Meritocracy)
Ivenn believes in base free will. Meaning the freedom to live, the freedom to choose, and the freedom to follow or not. It does not believe in blind loyalty, and believes that followings must be earned with trust, mutualism, or respect. It also believes all cultures and peoples have a right to exist, and live, and any who oppose life, or the base concept of free will is what it supports.

Allies: Jacobins, Hymrok Followers, Evintarian Unionists, Bloodcast Knights, Afflicted (To an extent), Draconists (Its complicated)
Enemies: Ditacts, Certain Government Authority, Mind Thrallers, Collared Retainers, Draconists (It's complicated)

Cultural Conservation: (Preserving Knowledge, Learning Knowledge, Resistance/Independence)
Ivenn believes in Cultural Conservation. He believes the soul of a people dies once their language, culture, or heritage is forgotten, and wishes that all people do not deserve the fate his has gotten, and will be sympathetic to all with a similar goal, and often loves learning about the new cultures of the world, a fascination ever since he arrived.

Allies: Scholars, Maraya, Dwarves, Asha, other Bralona
Enemies: Nationalists, Imperialists, Draconists (It's complicated)

Environmentalism (Conserving Nature, Protecting the Weak/Exploited, Maintaining Balance)
Ivenn has spent most of its time wandering the lands and exploring, and often has gotten a very in-tuned sense with the world around. It wishes for the natural order of things to be protected, and will resist wanton destruction for need, as he never understood concepts such as 'money' or 'labor' due to his people's history. While he doesn't believe civilizations can't use natural resources to its advantage, he believes that the natural balance must be maintained, to protect both the wilderness, and those who might exploited from those activities.

Allies: Halfvel and Mana followers, Conservationists, Marken, Draconists (It's complicated)
    Enemies: Monopolists, Evolists

    Betterment: (Overcoming Difficulty, Healing, Redemption)
Ivenn believes in second chances. All who have done wrong have the ability to redeem themselves. All people have the ability to do good in them, some have chosen not to follow it, but people should have the opportunity to regain it. So it believes in helping others find their, helping others heal, even if its struggling with this specific ideal in general.

Allies: Religious Guides, Healers, Suffering Afflicted, Therapists
Enemies: Lothar Knights, Draconists (IT'S COMPLICATED) , Purists, Non-suffering Afflicted
    Rionna - 100
Within Ivenn's exploring of the world, came Rionna. A ailor priestess hailing from Gallovia, Ivenn never had expected much out of their first meeting, due to the differences of their histories. But with time, eventually realized their shared interest in the pursuit of knowledge. The two spent many days speaking of their perspectives and experiences, and eventually, began courting, now close partners.

    Ciodaru - 85
Ivenn's curious nature had lead to him meeting this Vlach scholar, with the two sharing conversation, eventually growing to have a friendship, somewhat kindled due to the guilt of what occurred with Ciodaru and a much more unethical Bralla. However, they managed to persevere, and with Rionna, formed what in a way, could be considered family. However with Ciodaru's troubles plaguing his actions, there exists a level of frustration, both at seeing the sufferings of a close friend, but also with a small flawed feeling that Ciodaru lacks some action in his efforts to improve himself.

    Avril - 71
Ivenn spent considerable time learning from an old Yanar, whose company he finds comforting. He often seeks to help her in any way he can. However, he is also fearful of her strange disposition—not due to any particular trait of the Dulon, but because of the constant struggle she faces with various troubles. Many hidden issues are kept from Ivenn, as his mentor still treats him like a child. This creates a sense of unease, as Ivenn feels both protective of and distanced from his mentor.

    Myka - 60
Ivenn's only real source of professional therapy, Ivenn has a deep respect for his faith, not only towards religion, but also their morals. Ivenn heavily supports Myka's ideal of betterment. Resulting in a protective attitude over Myka, as Ivenn believes he is a source of true hope and healing for a world full of worries and obstacles. Having recently realized that maybe a life solely based upon helping others, may not be the easiest. Ivenn also wishes to simply know the Narim better.

    Fenric - 50
While making his rounds in the forest, Ivenn often encounters Fenric, a fellow Gloomfolk. The hardened Gloomwarrior frequently accompanies the ranger on his patrols, vigilantly monitoring the various happenings along the dirt trails of the Gloom. Though Ivenn is usually a very private individual, he holds a surprising amount of trust towards Fenric, as he finds comfort in having a companion in the quiet of the forest. He wishes to gain a better glimpse, of who they are. With Fenric often covering any direct window into their past with brew and ale.

    Kaya - 45
During his time at Fairbanks, Ivenn occasionally spotted Kaya. Initially, he was more preoccupied with the idea of the Sorenviks rather than the Velheim herself, which made him keep his distance. Originally, intimidated by the thought of starting a conversation, he was gradually introduced. Eventually, they were further drawn into conversation by Kaya's knowledge of Velheim culture, particularly due to Ivenn's search for his past, leading to the Sorenvik teaching the Brakin Skodje. Now, Ivenn holds a great deal of respect for the level-headed woman.

    Ellamae - 27
Ivenn is unsure what to make of the Bralla. There is some connection between them at Rokenn, but every interaction with them seems confusing. Still, the growing pressure to uncover his pasts lead them to try and interact with them, but is lined with uneasiness, as a person who once knew what he was, has its own worries to deal with. Still, another forgotten soul from Basalon is another to be helped, and work with.

    Einar - 27
Ivenn does not know much about Einar, but he has many questions for the Bloodcast about one specific aspect: the Hjordi. Ivenn deeply wishes to reconnect with the hidden part of his mind that keeps the winters of Jorrhildr away from him. Through Einar's guidance, he regained a memory of the Orsti language, which has fostered a level of admiration.

    Aoife - 20
Having first met the Fin'ullen in an impromptu gathering organized by Einar, they've managed to meet again as coworkers in the Repose. The Gloomranger finds her amicable, and also a tad amusing in the awkward questions she gives. Now, he is genuinely interested in becoming closer.

    Senna - 15
Like with all Bralona, Ivenn finds a connection with Senna's direct ignorance of the world around her, with only a few things tying to the actual world. He finds her a bit irritating, but somewhat endearing, wishing to help her organize her path forward, in he what also also considered, a confusing world. As Senna is another forgotten child of Basalon.

    Rayne - 15
Neutral, but leaning towards positive. Ivenn finds Rayne very pragmatic, if not off-putting, and believes to an extant that she has more knowledge and connections then he does in their combined efforts to tend to the Gloom. However, his personal opinion has lessened a bit, as he feels that Rayne herself made a deal with the Lothar, without consultation from the rest of the Gloomfolk Order. Though, as Gloomfolk, there is still a large level of trust that still exists, and Ivenn is glad that her capabilities are being put in the correct way.

    Naea - 15
Ivenn finds the Yanar a bit intimidating, but mostly is comfortable speaking with them. As Gloomfolk, they obviously are already on the positives, and also finds their devotion to his birthplace admirable. The Brakin has a soft-spot for Ventra, despite not agreeing with all of her methods.

    Dammokh - 3
Hardly knowing the Ailor? Fin'ullen? Kathar?, Ivenn has restricted feelings about a person he barely knows, having a negative disposition towards someone with a wishy-washy attitude in regards to choices like Dread Rebirth.. Though, he is quite sympathetic in Dammokh's quest regarding faith, as it is something the half-iconoclast still struggles with.

    Adagio - 0
Adagio, through the small bits of interaction, is everything the Bralona despises. Haughty as a noble, cold and uncaring as a knight, conniving as a Lothar, radical as a purist, unmoving and idiotic (in the Brakin's view) as a person. The only reason why the number is not lower then zero, is the Brakin at least has a respect for the Lothar's willingness for self sacrifice.

Let's ride, ride, ride over the sand
the sun is setting behind Arnarfell

    Name: Ivaldi Henriksson
    Age: 28
    Heritage: Hjordi Velheim
    Gender: Male-Presenting
    Occult: Void Mage

    Apperance:
Ivaldi is a hardened individual, with a scarred, angled face, that has obviously been through much wear. However, despite his callouses, his skin is light, with rather then tanning, it seemed to have been heavily burnt. With red patches that never seem to disappear on his person. He seems rather sickly, for such an athletic man, with gaunt cheeks and graying hairs. His clothes seemed to be bleached, perhaps from light, with weathering colors that seem to bleed on the pale man. It is decorated with red paint, clearly indicating a following of Thirun, yet even the ink on his skin seems to have faded. His appearances are scattered, at least for Ivenn, or the rare visages he showcases himself through Nid. His eyes are greatly faded, as if he was blind, however seems to react like he can see. Despite this, his gaze is always distracted, as if directly staring into something behind whoever he is speaking to. The pieces of a broken collar are also visible on the Hjordi's neck. Occasionally, a handheld mirror in the visage of Bev can be seen on his persons.

    Personality:
Ivaldi is a relatively aloof individual, as due to his long history, he has difficulty articulating his own thoughts on most modern things without negative reaction, as a result. He usually is unresponsive to anything that triggers his guilt or fears. He is extremely blunt, yet always hides it through cryptic wording. Never really seeming focused on anything, except on what is beyond, there is clearly something else that had long affected how he speaks and thinks, then just experience. He clearly is an expert on the utilization of Trolldom, moral void magic, though more so in its control and utilization rather then theory or its origins.

    Interaction:
For Ivaldi to appear and influence, there will be a roll depending on interactions. To help absolve his detachments and guilt, his persuasion stat is a 8.

    (Roll 100)
    1-10 Negative Takeover
    10-30 Negative Memory
    30-50 Negative Reaction
    50-70 Positive Reaction
    70-90 Positive Memory
    90-100 Positive Takeover

When Ivenn is exposed to Velheim (especially Hjordi) cultural connections.

    • When Ivenn is exposed to Void Magic
    • When Ivenn is exposed to deep cold, snow, or anything related to the north.
    • When Ivenn is exposed to Urlan (Locked to negatives, roll 50)
    • When Ivenn is exposed to something related for the dead
    • When Ivenn interacts with Lothar or their Pentinents

Ivaldi was born in Arnarfell, a squalid village in Jorrhildr. Most of the inhabitants were refugees, having fled from the three Skags. There were a total of a four families that made up Arnarfell, Ivaldi himself, hails from the first family, who's head, Henrik Aamodt, arrived to Jorrhildr to escape the chaos that had enveloped Midskag. Their long isolation, lead to a lack of knowledge of the outside world. However with the arrival of the three other families, their isolation was somewhat broken. With Arnarfell eventually absorbing the other settlements. The descendants of Henrik and his extended family had decided to adopt a surname that included his name, Henriksson, or Henriksdottir. The other arrivals eventually all adopted this idea, naming descendants after the family head that had brought them to Jorrhildr.

The Four Families in name, are the Henriks, Iselds, Tjorfis, and the Gudruns.

Like all settlements in Jorrhildr, Arnarfell is hidden, with various tactics to allow the survival of its population to occur. WIth various approaches to this idea. Ivaldi has very limited knowledge on what occurred to Arnarfell after a small group of lone Urlan, managed to discover its location, to which he was involved in. Arnarfell has a good chance of either adapting and recuperating, or simply dying out, either from the Urlan, or simply Jorrhildr's frigid conditions. Still, Ivaldi has a small bit of hope Arnarfell still stands, as a resolute determination to protect its culture had always existed, across all four families.

    Arnarfell Settlement
The first and largest settlement, the Henriks run Arnarfell, which the entire village is named after. Due to its long isolation and survival, Arnarfell was treated as the cultural anchor, with moots often held in the large storehouse underground in the gathering of the four families. Arnarfell held many of the Hjordi's classic traits, with dried skins of deceased family members decorating the walls, and with the practiced art of Trolldom, it had cultivated a dense shrubbery amongst the forest to keep this settlement and its woodcutting hidden.

    Arnarfell Helbowen
Due to the harsh lifestyle of Jorrhildr, Helbowen are never traditional, especially for the old Henrikssons and Henriksdottirs. To prevent scents, the Arnarfell do not bury dead to preserve, due to the rocky forest making the land around them bad for agriculture, the Arnarfell instead, have a buried house near the large frigid coastlines, where the remaining parts of the deceased are let adrift into the sea, to ensure that the dead do not attract Urlan. Ceremonies are usually not held, but the family keeps record of them in the Helbowen, usually a trinket with something of little use, such as a small bone.
    Eilenberger Settlement
The second, in both age and size, the Eilenberger Settlement, or Lonely Mountain Settlement, had buried themselves on the grassy hills, just along the base of the large ice capped mountain range that could be seen farther along in the distance. Founded by Tjorfi Gunnvaldsson, the Tjorfis are usually seen as rivals to the Henriks, however this rivalry is mostly on who can survive the longest, rather then anything else. With a joke between the two families, that, if Arnarfell ever died out, the extended village would take up the name of Eilenberger to finally end the rivalry. The inhabitants of Eilenberger are skilled at the raising and gathering of plants in the frigid climate, often trading their vegetables and medicines for fish and wood.

    Eilenberger Helbowen
Eilenberger, unlike Arnarfell, has a reason to bury their dead, only for a completely different purpose. Resources are limited, so even bodies are a boon for their small patches of agriculture. However, each body is spread out, with their bones left in the ground to rest, a simple marked stone serving as their identifier under the ground. A hidden house, on the edge of the Helbowen, serves as a hide, for the Helvigja and Helvarjar, who are effectively also farmers.
    Killian Settlement
The third family, also third to arrive, is also the smallest, however has an important role in the extended village. Killian, founded by Gundrun Breathnach, are marked by two houses, not necessarily because of buildings, but because Gundrun's family consisted of two groups. Killian is nomadic, constantly traveling along the long plains of permafrost, scouting out the movement of Urlan and the few wildlife that exists on Jorrhildr for the rest of Arnarfell. Trolldom is cultivated heavily by the Gundruns, who grown to be incredibly skilled in its practical and combative usage. The settlement is named after Gundrun's late husband, who was a Gallovian hailing from Clannadh Alba, who had traveled to the Skags during the tumultuous political situation via the Regalian Empire. Despite Gallovia's complicated relation with the rest of Regalia, the village in Hvitskag did not realize this distinction, and Killian was ultimately killed, with the rest of his small extended family, alongside Gundrun's much larger one, eventually escaped to Jorrhildr to further themselves from the war. Gundrun eventually passed, and was laid to be remembered in the Eilenberger Helbowen, alongside a keepsake from her husband. While Killian mostly absorbed Hjordi language and culture, Gallovian culture and language still exists to an extent in the settlement.

    Iseldsdottir Settlement
The last and final settlement, Iseldsdottir. The name, means Iselds' Daughter, directly referring to the original founder as the surname. Iseldsdottir was most recent Settlement, and the most difficult to understand for the rest of the village, as they still spoke Skodje, a language somewhat intelligible with Orsti. Despite this, the Iselds have adapted quickly, having covered their homes in between large boulders, living near the coast line to harvest ice and fish, becoming a source of food and fresh water for the entire village. Iseldsdottir also utilize the Arnarfell Hellbowen, only bodies are used as bait indirectly, as at times the Iselds float atop the frozen ocean to guide the bodies further out.

    Hi again!

Also wouldn’t hurt to add a line about religion here either, though I suspect I know what it is.
Be sure to mention which dimension this sis sourced from here.
So, there is a bit of an issue in the backstory, and that is that no Bralona prior to the Bralona Occupation were against or outside of the Bralla-Bronn High Command. Some operated on the fringes of it (such as being underwater, which is fine), but they were always loyal to High Command, up until the point as which the Rebellion appeared. It’s going to make more sense within lore if your character joined that Rebellion following the Occupation, as opposed to before, which isn’t possible.

Let me know what you end up changing for the life story, mark those changes with blue, and then tag me when you’re all set!

@ezalB Religion isn't really necessary in his steps. So I feel there is really no reason to add it, as it is up to determination at this point.

For the backstory, sorry about the confusing wording. I meant that he did start fighting in rebellion against High Command during the attacks on Regalia, but that in the beginning he was just more detached than the rest of the kind while still staying a part of it. I'll change it if it must to fit better, but I just wanted to let you know.

I assume this is Primal, but you should specify what dimension your character is sourcing their magic from. Do that, and I’ll give this the ole’ approved tag!

    Oh, and @tag me too.
