You do not have to be a Dragon Worshipper to participate in the festival, and it is even encouraged for those of other faiths to come with an open mind and spend a lighthearted evening learning more about Dragon Worship culture and enjoying fun events. The festival will begin with market stalls opening up on the street, offering wares from local businesses and minigames with a variety of Dragon themes. Dragon Worshippers in particular are encouraged to sign up to help run a stall, either to sell products, offer seminars on information of their choice, or to manage games. Of course, there will be plenty of prizes to win as well! Fundraising will be held throughout the event, with all donations going towards repair and maintenance for the city's Dragon Temple. Here is a list of some of the minigames you can expect to see during the fair: » Caius's Judgement: A Test of Strength! › | Show your true strength to your peers by striking the target as hard as you can with the hammer.» Aurora's Eye: A Test of Accuracy! › | Display your dexterity in a trial of dart-throwing, and hit the targets to earn prizes.» Regulus's Knowledge: A Test of Wisdom! › | Impress others with your intelligence by correctly answering trivia questions!» Severena's Balance: A Test of Mastery! › | Showcase your restraint, judgement, and precision by tossing rings to land on the targets! And, of course, the main event of the evening will be the tournament itself. Bring your fighting spirit to the arena and face off against once another, climb your way through the brackets, and strive to become the Champion in the Festival of Gladiators! The winding of it reminiscent of dragons' bodies moving in the wind as at the center of the choker would be two bright red rubies. It was shined to perfection and almost looked as if eyes gazing out. Twisted Draconic Ring The thin ring looked to have small indents in it that seemed reminiscent of a dragon's scales. They were small details, but might be comforting to run one's fingers over in stressful situations. Meanwhile, the small head of the dragon on the ring looked to contain two tiny rubies for eyes. The Dragon's Hold The short gold chain looked to contain two dragon heads which were the claps that both held a ring at the center. It was a more simplistic necklace, but if anyone viewed it up close, it would hold nice and elegant details. The Scale's Blade This short dagger looked to have been made with steel as the tip of the blade looked to have four hooked, serrated edges to dig in deep and rip from the enemy. The hilt of the blade looked to contain a dragon scale-like pattern made with indents, and where the blade met the handle, there would be a tiny ruby star on either side. ╒═════════━━━━━━━━━━┛« ♕ »┗━━━━━━━━━━═════════╕ █████████████████████████████████████████████████ █████████████████████████████████████████████████ ╘═════════━━━━━━━━━━┓« ♕ »┏━━━━━━━━━━═════════╛ OOC INFORMATION » What? | An event to celebrate the Festival of Gladiators, featuring both a fair and a tournament. » When? | Stalls begin opening on April 15th at 5:00 pm EST. Tournament begins at 6:00 pm EST. » Where? | The Isldar District » Who? | Anyone and everyone, providing they're legal in the city (or have a way to disguise themselves)! TOURNAMENT INFORMATION Optional CRP rules will be required in order to keep the timing of things to a manageable schedule, and Ability cooldowns/HP will be refreshed between each round. Rounds will last between 15-20 minutes max, with the timer starting on the first combat emote. After the timer is up, the individual with the highest HP remaining will be the winner. In the event that there is a tie of HP, the round will continue until someone lands a damaging hit and breaks the tie. Those caught cheating will be penalized!
