Life Story Nejin’s single mother died upon his birth, however he was quickly put under the guardianship of a soldier and swordsmith couple within Dexai. Upon his eighteenth birthday, he received a dream from Liu-Xing, instructing him to become a River Guardian and choosing the name Asonari. He also chose to take on Archon-hood to aid himself in both martial and religious pursuits. Over this time, he became more open to dragon worship as a whole, through occasional meetings with the Dragon Matron of the east, though he still remained a firm worshipper of the Saaima. In a dream, he was instructed by Liu-Xing to head west and serve as monk and warrior in his name among Ailor lands, he, without hesitation, began his path to Regalia.
