    Life Story

      • Born from the affair between a single highly charismatic Dar level Kathar male, and a married Rokh level Kathar female on a particularly intoxicated night Gllo was abandoned by her mother, and barely even a thought for her father, despite living in the same house.
      • Her teen years saw her running around with a few different groups of troublemakers who were either fighting with each other or stealing from someone's homes or pockets, with a very strong point of every man for themselves if someone gets caught.
      • Gllo eventually left her father's home to seek out her mother, who, after a very brief interaction between the two, slammed the door in Gllo's face. Afterward, she was recruited onto a pirate ship, which taught her how to go from a simple pickpocket to a skilled fighter and thief.
      • Gllo had soon become the right-hand man of the captain for a brief period before he was killed in battle, and a majority of the crew had been severely injured. Just barely escaping with their lives, the crew wound up in Ithania, where they disbanded and parted ways, seeing Gllo stumble into Regalia to find a new source of income and ambition.
Somewhere in Rokhara, a Dar ranked Kathar male was able to somehow convince a Rokh ranked Kathar woman to go with him for what should've been a couple of drinks. Unfortunately, they ended up having far more drinks than she had planned, and the next thing she knew, she woke up inside of his bed. She was so disgusted by the series of events that she slowly recalled that her stomach cramped and she needed to throw up. She left almost immediately. He thought that it would be that last time he'd ever see her, not that it would've been much of a problem, since it was just a fling for him. However, a few months later, he was met face to face with not only her but a plump round stomach as well. She blamed him for it and demanded that he be responsible. He thought this meant that he had to take care of a woman and a child now, which he had no care for, but reluctantly agreed to. A month after the birth of the child, the woman disappeared, leaving an uncaring father and an incapable baby.

Growing up, Gllö'jjiëa had mostly needed to take care of herself. Her father provided the home and bare necessities to keep her alive. Anything more than that, she had to provide for herself, which is what had her outside of the house for a majority of the time. If she wasn't trying to find any kind of work, she was with a small group of friends that she ran around with, stealing and causing trouble. They had the loyalty of nothing as if any of them were caught, they were left to their own devices. This led Gllo to have a mentality of dropping everything and cutting ties the minute dung hit the fan. Getting into her teen years, she started becoming more aggressive, even with her friends. She often rough-housed with them, but they didn't pull any punches. Occasionally, the fights would be a handicapped match of one or two going against several others. She also became bolder with stealing, doing things alone, even pickpocketing someone walking by themselves. With a lack of any real training, though, she failed more often than she succeeded. She soon grew tired of this weak fighter and clumsy thief she'd became, and grew tired of walking in a trashy home covered in litter and occupied by an old, worn-out, smelly drunk. She decided that she would leave to find someone who might be a little more competent - her mother.

She left his home at around eighteen with the clothes on her back and nothing more. She traveled around with the little information that she was given from the deadbeat and the few people around her home that knew about her parents. She traveled from town to town, getting slightly better at thieving, and interrogating anyone who may have known about her. After two months of searching, she came upon a rather nice looking home in a town that was far, far away from her birth town. She wondered why someone from here would ever even consider stepping a foot into that dump. She knocked on the door, only to be greeted by a sophisticated-looking, beautiful woman. Gllo greeted her, and explained the situation, that she might be this woman's daughter. The woman's face and expression went from calm to an expression of regret. She told Gllo that she had no money, or home, or anything for her. and slammed the door in her face, repulsed. Gllo was confused at first, but pondered about her father, and wasn't too surprised about her mother's reaction, but would be lying if she said she wasn't too disappointed. She only then realized that she had no other plans with her life, and didn't even really know what she'd do after she found her mother. Later that night, she found herself outside of a tavern with no life or aspirations ahead of her, and no particular skills for any work other than desperation. Only then would she be approached by someone who was looking for just that.

Gllo was confronted by a sturdy-looking man, accompanied by a slimmer, sterner-looking one. Introducing themselves, it was the captain of a ship and his right-hand man. Conveniently enough, they were scouting out potential crewmates to bring aboard, since they lost a few members on their last venture. Gllo, having nothing to lose, or even bring with her for that matter, decided this was better than rotting away in that bar. Having no experience, it took her time to adjust and learn how to work on the ship, and neither the captain nor the crew went easy on her. Even when they sparred to train her, she was knocked down, quite a lot, but soon grew to become a decent fighter, both unarmed and combat with a dagger. She was also taught how to steer the boat, navigate, and become a proper thief. She was far less clumsy, and now much more dangerous than she used to be. She was part of more than two dozen raids with her new pirate crew. She felt a new sense of camaraderie that no one had ever shown her before, as they worked together, rather than everyone man for themself. However, these good times and free life lasted only about five years together. Upon one particular raid, they grew too ambitious, trying to take more than they could chew, which led to their downfall. Though they held their ground, for the most part, they were soon overwhelmed, Gllo and a handful of others, not including the captain, were forced to retreat. They ended up sailing to the nearest landmass, which at the time had been Ithania.

With most of the crew injured far more than they could handle, and the rest considered themselves too old for this anymore, the group went their separate ways. They split what little plunder they had left between each other. Gllo once again had no plans and no one. Not sure of where to go, she settled herself in Ithania, finding a cheap place to call home while she picked up whatever work she could find, from bartending, to heavy labor, working day and night for months. She grew wary of Ithania, and wanted to see something new, plus, she needed something other than constant, bland work to take her mind off things. She had scraped enough money together to be able to get herself a new ship in functioning order. It wasn't anything too fancy and had minimal offense and defense, but it was something she could call her own for once. She found a new chapter in Regalia, where she heard the chance of a fresh start.

Approved, but the naming customs should still be changed later when you find time.
