His hair is dark brown, wavy, and medium length, paired with a close-cropped beard. He is often seen wearing Imperial-styled clothing, but also wears gilded steel plate armour when on duty as a Knight. He is mundane and otherwise blemish-free bar a long clawmark scar that runs down his face from his right eye to his neck, the injury resulting in slightly blurrier vision in his right eye as a result. Life Story > Leopold von Berger was born in 274 AC, Opper Calem, to Frederick & Johanna von Berger. > He was sent away at the age of 7 to become a Villiers-Eclaire Knight, remaining in Basta until he graduated at the age of 21. In this time he was briefly married to Erica du Mittenwald as a political union and had one child with her, his daughter Marianne. > Leo spent his early adulthood aiding Celates and performing in various tournaments after he graduated as a Man-at-Arms. > In his thirties he has fought in various conflicts and wars in honour of his patron Allest, and received an injury from a number of aberrants that left a grim scar and affected his eyesight somewhat. >Leopold took the von Schwarzkrau surname in 309 AC after his nephew Howland became patriarch, and ventured forth to Regalia to aid the family in its endeavours. Spoiler: Life Story > Leopold was born on the 4th March 274 AC to Frederick & Johanna von Berger. He was afforded various luxuries as a young boy given his family’s noble background, and taught of Unionism and his family’s duties. In line with the New Regalian law of Wehrpflichtgebot, his father sent Leopold away in 281 AC at the age of 7 to join the Villiers-Eclaire Order. > He spent 7 years from 281 to 288 AC as a page to Erhard Kalt, an experienced Knight at the Carainthais Monastery in Basta. He followed the usual routine of service and chores beneath Erhard, and as his mentor was a keen rider, was also taught husbandry. Leo later became Erhard’s squire in 288 AC when he turned 14 and was trained more extensively in combat, travelling across the Archipelago to protect Celates or to help spread the faith. That same year he was married off to Erica du Mittelwald as a political union between her family and the von Bergers. They had one daughter, Marianne, but Erica died in childbirth. > Leopold graduated and became a Man-at-Arms of the Villiers-Eclaire Order at the age of 21 in 295 AC. The new Knight performed the Sanktism of Fervent Service for a month after in Calemberg. He and his former mentor continued to go on their missions together for some time having built a strong rapport. After many years of training Leo distinguished himself as a keen dueller, participating in various local tournaments when not directly aiding the Celates. > Leo put his skill to use in the Elven War of 302 AC and later joined the Battle of the Curag Fields in 303 AC. He also travelled through the Calem, Dragenthal, and Brissiaud lands offering relief during the Bone Horror Crisis of 304 AC. > The Knight was attacked by Cahal when returning to Opper Calem in 306 AC and left with a long scar down the right side of his face and neck, which has since made his vision slightly blurrier in his right eye. He did not remain in the Calem regions for long after the crisis ended due to the outbreak of the Dread War in March 307 AC. He joined the conflict not only to help protect the Empire but to help put down what he deemed one of the most heretical affronts to the Unionist faith. The war was challenging, seeing Leopold spend much time offering religious respite to troops. > The death of his older brother Aldobert in early 309 AC left the von Berger family in disarray. It was at this time that he adopted the von Schwarzkrau name, deciding to find new companionship and responsibilities with his family and use his skills for the good of the Order and his nephew in Regalia. Played History > Aided his nephew Howland in investigating the Blight and protecting the von Schwarzkrau lands - August 309 AC. > Not long after he had settled into the city did the rise of the vampires beneath the Lich Lord begin, and as such Leopold found himself fighting with the Resistance. This culminated with him participating in the Defense of Theomar's Temple - October 309 AC.

Howdy! There's a small discrepancy I noticed in the Prog Talents section: Your character is listed as a Villiers Knight in their backstory, but lacks the 1 Knight level in Prog Talents. This supersedes other forced proficiencies, and should always be included when playing a Knight character. Given that the Knight update is still TBD for release, I'd recommend either cutting Prog Talents or swapping out your 1 Diplomat for the 1 Knight level in the meantime. Ultimately it's an optional system, so it's not a huge deal either which way. Ping me once you've made the necessary changes and I'll re-review ASAP!
