APPEARANCE Izzy is about 5'7 and very toned in muscle, with more muscle than fat. Her hair in her kokonto form is dyed split between blonde and her naturally dark brown hair. Her hair style is just simple butterfly braids. Her Sofawaati form consists of dark black horns at the top of her head and a second pair that tilt down towards her jawline. She also has a dragon like tail with scales sprawling up past her waist in symmetrical patches along her forearms and shoulders. PERSONALITY Ismaila follows the religion of Mussaktu, and while she believes in it, she’s not a fervent worshiper and approaches it in a tame way. One little foot soldier caught up with the high expectations of her family is in search for a more relaxed pace of life, filled with friendship and fellowship. She was given the Doumara of Here because she slept peacefully through the night she was born. Raised high above the rotting streets below with one very exasperated Ailor tutor, Izzy was always a little bit of a handful. She spent most of her childhood being tutored in literature, and in efforts to get her focused, her tutor would regale her with tales from Regalia. Her brothers were less than impressed but Izzy was fascinated with the city of second chances. The tutor also taught her some magic alongside a proper Songaskian Ordial mage. Life was very relaxed at these young ages, but as soon as she turned sixteen, she began training in combat in preparation for her military service. She took up the spear and shield like her brothers, who at this point had returned from their mandated military service. During her military service years she was stationed in Kouriyasui due to her upbringing in Diernali (since, apparently, she’d be used to seeing dead people roaming around). She lived just outside the city and found herself to be very bored. Izzy contemplated why she was sent here while her brothers had been sent to Dogono… and suspected that her parents may be behind this. Her three years went and came peacefully, and while she’d been content with her relaxing life in Kouriyasui, Ismaila decided to leave to visit Regalia. She’d always wanted to go there and reconnect with her old tutor (who had been sent home after Izzy had turned 16). After sending a letter to her mothers and the household explaining where she was going, Ismaila embarked on her own towards the the city of second chances.
