However, Umi is not overly faithful, and so Estel holds no particular sway in her life. (Subject to change when lore updates) Umilythe is a very neurotic bog scientist, with a love for brewing peculiar potions, and having them occasionally blow up. She is an avid genome researcher, exploring paths for genos editing. She loves nature, and dirt, and is more likely to throw the latter at people she does not like (and sometimes even those she does like). Across her limbs, moss and the occasional flower grow across her skin, much like living jewelry. Her right eye is a clockwork prosthetic, and she is covered in a multitude of scars from a Marken's mauling. Umilythe has light brown, unkempt hair. Her natural eye is a slightly dull brown. Her skin is kept fairly clean nowadays, with the only blemishes being her scars. Most of her clothing is haphazardly sewn, very poor in make, and closer to rags than actual clothes. She is 5'3", and has little to no muscle definition. She wears a locket at all times, which contains an Avarr Soul. Life Story Born to two Cielothar parents in the distant region of Daen, Umi lived a simple life, but one that was full to bursting with nature, love, and oddness. As a child, Umi loved to play in the dirt near the village's bog. This created her current love for moss, and all the little things that can be fostered in soil. Her father took her on as an apprentice in potion-making, and her eccentric mother began to teach her the art of sorcery. Growing into a young adult, Umi had her education, and her passion. She continued to work with her family in her little village, but spent more and more time by the waters of the bog. Seen as somewhat of an outcast, she never seemed to care that much when it came to others' opinions. Umilythe sailed to Regalia upon her parent's wishes, with the hope that she might be more successful there, rather than remaining her village's oddity.
