Malaqar is an obese woman standing at 6.4ft tall, she is adorned with expensive fabrics tailored into only the most extravagant designs and bears enough jewelry to make a Queen blush. (Mandatory if Applicable, if not, Ignore) A comprehensive description of alternate forms derived from Abilities or Afflictions (such as Vampire Form, Cahal Form, etc.) Life Story Malaqar was born in a small fishing port on an obscure island in the Shadow Isles, into a family of destitute mussel foragers. Their childhood was mostly joyless, toiling together with the family to make ends meet and bring meager morsels to the table. Adolescence was somewhat kinder on Malaqar, the family means having increased just enough for some minor comforts to be afforded to their humble abode. Malaqar began saving up for a grimoire with what little they could muster, in an effort to make life easier on the family. In their burgeoning adulthood they had mastered several spells, and also valuable skills. With perfect nightvision they caught themselves a job with a traveller merchant as a navigator on his ship. This began a long life at sea, crafting important connections with people on both sides of the law, both stately and occult. Years out at sea grew a strong obsession with wealth in the relatively young Kathar, having visited every major port in the known world and uncovered how life can bend to pieces of gold and silver. She fell in love. The kathar broke off from the merchant on amicable terms and struck out on their own. A lone vessel became a fleet, and tavern rooms became villas. A masterful understanding of minds and how to play them to her advantage guided her to a life of untold riches. Malaqar journeyed to the Holy City of Regalia for the same reason thousands of others do. Prosperity and peace. She was no longer content with a life on the move and desired to settle in the greatest city in the world, where she would keep expanding her wealth, network and magical capacity.
