Papers would be nailed to notice boards all over the city

My publication this day of November 14th, 309 A.C, is prompted by the publication of Archduke von Schwarzkrau and Duke Delmotte.

As a Viridian, you'd think the Archduke Howland von Schwarzkrau would find lying to be a completely alien concept. However, the recent accusations published by Archduke von Schwarzkrau and Duke Marceau Delmotte are nothing but fabrications. It is no secret that the Archduke has an abhorrent hatred for the Grand Duke Theopold Castley, and with this extensive list of accusations, it has become apparent that the Archduke has been attempting to dig up as much dirt as possible via any means necessary, making Mr. Hawthorne's confession all the more believable. Truly unbefitting a Viridian Knight.

The Archduke von Schwarzkrau and Duke Delmotte threatened the former Castley house guard Mister Nathaniel Hawthorne into giving up a bogus confession. I spoke with Mr. Hawthorne after his confession, and he stated that the Archduke von Schwarzkrau said there was no other choice. They threatened him with lashings and imprisonment, as the man was scared for his life. This can be expected of Duke Delmotte, who whilst a politician and statesman by nature, is an extremely violent and hateful man. The surprise comes from Archduke von Schwarzkrau's involvement, who, as a Viridian knight, should be held to higher standards. The common citizenry should feel safe and secure with a Viridian like the Archduke von Schwarzkrau, yet he unfortunately has a completely different side to him. He has betrayed the trust of Mr. Hawthorne, as well as myself through his and Duke Delmotte's lies. However, some of the accusations deserve clarification.
    • On November 3rd, Grand Duke Theopold Castley was on Main Street with a house guard who was in violation of Regalian Law regarding house guard armor. Archduke von Schwarzkrau confronted them, before moving to Greygate Prison to find the Regalian Guard. I, Urijah Jamesson, told the house guard to remove their gauntlets and greaves in order to be in compliance with Regalian Law. The house guard did so, yet the Archduke persisted. The standards of the law were met, and the point was made; the uniform was street legal, and it should've been good enough for the Archduke. However, it wasn't, and he insisted upon an arrest. I believe this to be an instance where the Archduke's composure betrayed him, and he ordered the arrest to satisfy his hatred for the Grand Duke. If these accusations are to persist, I ask that I, Urijah Jamesson, be punished for the crimes I (supposedly) committed instead of the innocent Grand Duke Castley.
    • On November 3rd, Grand Duke Theopold Castley was well within his noble rights to free his house guard who was arrested. The moment that the Archduke is referring to is insignificant, as it was a mistake of noble rights, which was quickly corrected, and the house guard was escorted to Greygate Prison without issue. After they were imprisoned, the Grand Duke and the Lord Commander legally freed the house guard from the cells. What this tells me is that Archduke von Schwarzkrau is so desperate for an angle at the Grand Duke, he is referring to instances so insignificant they cannot be called a crime, merely a blunder.
    • On the night that Grand Duke Theopold Castley was in the "Nook and Cranny", he was previously placed under some sort of spell which rendered him "odd" for the remainder of the night. He was accompanied to the Nook and Cranny by (then) house guard Froya (I don't know her surname) and house guard Amon Krazzla or however you spell it, and they stayed with him inside. Again, he was not intoxicated, he was merely placed under a spell from some sort of earlier encounter.
As for the rest, I'm sure the Grand Duke can defend himself easily enough. I'm not his lawyer, but I must speak up whenever I know something to be wrong, and in this instance, I find a Viridian knight and a governmental official lying through their teeth to be wrong. It is saddening to see a Viridian and esteemed member of the peerage such as the Archduke to stoop so low as to lie both on parchment and in the Imperial Palace, though his degrading morality has been witnessed by myself even during the Sanguine Crisis, with him and his oppressive lady friend Grand(?) Duchess Hera van Hal (Haeddi Harhold).

Daughter of the once great man, now failed tactician Hengest Harhold, Grand(?) Duchess Hera van Hal has abandoned her familial name Harhold in an attempt to distance herself from association with the Hound Lord, it seems. The Grand(?) Duchess has done her fair share of lying this weekend, and it seems to be an attempt to cover up her actions during the Sanguine Crisis. The Archduke and the Grand(?) Duchess have committed several war crimes during the Crisis, with the Grand(?) Duchesses' devious actions as a Sanguine, and the fact that both have shot more members of the resistance than actual Sanguine. House Wulfmacht has been made victim of their atrocities, having been refused curing on several occasions and have been shot at every time they've approached the Northlake Gates either on command of the Archduke or the Grand(?) Duchess. To cover up their abhorrent behavior, they've employed countless false witnesses to sully the good name of House Wulfmacht in an attempt to paint them as the enemy. I blame their actions on the degrading mental state of the Grand(?) Duchess van Hal (Harhold) who should not have had a weapon in her hands, and the two-faced morality of Archduke von Schwarzkrau. The Grand(?) Duchess is supposedly a representative of the common people, yet she slaughters them in droves!

As for Duke Delmotte, well. He has been an absentee for a while now, only hopping on the wagon of Castley hate spurred on by Archduke von Schwarzkrau and his evident paranoia!

A weekend for political stunts, yet somebody must stand for the truth.

    Paid in Full,
    -Urijah Jamesson

The Fae Ward sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose.

    "Quelle disgrâce."

He mutters, tossing the paper aside with little care for where it ended up.

The Eronidas walks home, checking the noticeboard at his district with a groan.

"Qaarn's strength. This man left his droppings on the district. Someone must housekeep him."

He crumples up the paper before tossing it into the water.

A clean sheet of parchment would be stapled directly under Urijah Jamesson's missive, bearing a seal depicting two sharks circling a bold 'M.'

    Mister Urijah Jamesson:

This will be short and simple, so here is my advice and commentary to you put into three bullet points.

~ Check the validity of your statements. This means the eight question marks aside the Grand Duchess van Hal's titleage would have been unnecessary should this step have been followed initially.
~ Remove unnecessary insults. An overabundance of abusive wordage not only is in poor taste, but it also doesn't make your point anymore true or false.
~ Who you want the public to think you are is not what the public thinks you are. Your part in this, and every other situation you've written a missive about, has been minor or non-existent. You do not write these missives to entertain yourself, nor do you abuse others to give yourself a giggle, but rather you do so to garner much-needed attention from those you think are important. Who are you when you aren't shivering from the many cold shoulders you have earned?

Rather than focusing upon the issues that others can solve themselves, I implore and challenge you to find something you enjoy that does not bring misery or annoyance onto the laps of others. I invite you cordially to speak with me at a time of your choosing, where we can discuss paths moving forward that may help you in preparation for the day you regret making the decisions you do now.

    With grace,
    Archduke Laeroth Minarith

The Neflin scanned the flyer, narrowing his eyes.
"A miracle this barbarian hasn't been thrown in the same hellhole Xilthruum crawled out of, eh."
And with that, the parchment was speared through by a sword of pure water [Morrlond's Gift 3]

The Maz-Allar known as Yautja, stared at the notice. Forming what one could depict as a smile, across their reptilian features.

    "Too true, my friend."

The Hunter ripped the paper off the board, folding it crudely, as they stashed it into their pocket. Trudging off.
