She was raised to get her way, no matter what. And so this made her act like everyone owed her, rather than earning what she deserved. This trait was displeased as she got older and her parents eventually kicked her out of the household, as to make her own way on the streets. However, while she was in the safety of her family’s estate, she picked up Sorcery over time, researching it in the library and practicing it on her own accord. Shortly after learning sorcery, a Crúa’ciadenö came to her, and she vowed to care for the critter. 14-16 Getting a Job Now on the streets, Zayah had to make her own way. She had to pick up a job, and she seemed interested in hunting and tracking. So Zayah tracked down a mentor to teach her how to hunt and tame the wild. She had trouble learning, as she grew up in a sheltered lifestyle… that made things a little challenging. But she eventually got the hang of it, relying on her instinct more, and tapped into her energy as a Maz-Allar. She learned bola combat to capture the creatures, and even picked up using her fists as a defensive measure. Zayah was finding her way in life as a commoner. 16-19 Character ARC However, all good things must eventually come to an end. As she was on her way to sell some pelts she gathered, she was jumped by a Sanguine. The Sanguine was a Cratos and desperately needed more members of his coven, so he forcibly changed her. She was infected and was part of his coven for a few years. She fell in love with the Coven Desprince, the one who forcibly changed her to be a Sanguine. However, the coven got into some trouble with the law as they became more chaotic and brave. The two leaders, her and her lover, got captured. They were threatened that if they did not change back into their mundane ways, their lover would be slaughtered. Quite the conundrum. Zayah took the deal and decided to become fully cured, in fear of losing her first love. As the days passed and the two were supposedly cured, they found that she was mundane… while her lover was still a Cratos. He would rather choose his power over Zayah and she realized it wasn’t love after all. Instead of following their word, the guards killed the Desprince and let Zayah go. The Maz-Allar once again went out into the world, starting over. 19-21 Fixing her Life Upon entering the world again, Zayah took up hunting once more, doing what she loved, although she lost her shop she worked hard for prior to infection. She prepared herself for the day she might get infected again, fearful of going back to what she was. Zayah is now on the streets of Regalia, fighting against Sanguine and hunting for monetary gain. To distract herself from the trauma in her past, she took up dancing and became closer to her Dragon deity, learning to heal and care for animals. Best of luck to her in her adventures.
