Lavish silks and well-preserved antique finery contrast with the swarms of greasy black rats that frequently scuttle through the area, creating a sense of discord within it's dimly-lit corridor. A sign hangs above your head, christening this shop as “The Den of Miracles”. Contrary to its appearance, the sale of valuable items is not The Den of Miracles’ primary value to the denizens of Crookback, though it does offer a daily selection of rare and unusual artifacts. These objects seldom have a magical component--though we cannot guarantee the absence of curses! Each one can be purchased for a trade of equal value—no regals strictly necessary! We do not claim that our services cannot be explained by mundane science, but rather, our service is the miracle that is being sold. Miracles will be delivered instantaneously where possible, and where not possible, we guarantee that our side of the bargain will be delivered within a maximum of 5 days. Requests for specific items can be discussed with your Miracle Maker. ♣ Miracle of Revenge — A chosen act of vengeanceAt a scale equivalent to their wrongdoings and the currency offered, we vow that any victim of your choosing will experience a day of misfortune and unpleasantry. Requests for specific punishments can be discussed with your Miracle Maker. ♣ Miracle of Legitimacy — Letters, Permits, and WarrantsWe can acquire you a permit, letter, or a warrant to do whatever it is you desire: from a simple weapon permit, to a personal Noble grant allowing you to access restricted areas. Private letters can even be forged with a sample of the individual’s handwriting. ♣ Miracle of Attraction - The affection of your unrequitedRegardless of any previous conflicts, we will imbue a sense of fondness upon your chosen individual, ensuring they see you with both endearment and curiosity. Perhaps knowledge of recent gang movements that may have a noteworthy effect on Crookback? Knowledge is perhaps the greatest currency of all. ♣ Currency of ServitudeIf all else fails, and you have no money--nor objects--nor brain to your name, the offer of temporary or lifetime servitude is an incredibly high-value form of payment.
