Following his imprisonment in his own home, Amory became paranoid that someone may hold him prisoner again, and as such, he sought lessons with a dagger that he could conceal to protect himself should the occasion arrive. Talent Proficiencies: (10) Bodycare Training. - 10 from Proficiency Points. Much the opposite to his father, Amory sought to train his body and strength in ways other than through combat intensive training. His teenage years were spent studying workout routines, skincare. Personal training was never a goal for Amory and he's never really offered to routinely train someone; only having ever taken on the odd friend for a small session in the gym. The ability to write has always been Amory's greatest resource, from his earliest scrawling to his later works; Amory has always taken pride in being able to carry information from his person to a page and then to another individual that might possibly stumble across his works. He has always enjoyed the creation of propaganda by means of writing, poetry, denunciations and the likes. (5) Husbandry Art - 5 from Proficiency Points. Amory took a keen interest in various interesting creatures during his time abroad was Eleonora’s Falcon, a bird that he first spotted in Etosil. It was then that he sought to domesticate one for the sake of companionship and with time, he found a breeder that allowed him a bird he named Perseus. Point-Buy & Schooling: (12) Linguistics Packs - 12 from Proficiency Points. A scholar first and foremost, Amory took to the study of various different languages in his youth, or, at least the ones that interested him. He spent the majority of his self-isolation from social situations studying Farradi and Ithanian, though later in life, he took a keen interest in the Etosian Dialect, along with Wa’an and Wa’co, two variants of the same language. (3) Diplomacy Schooling - 3 from Proficiency Points. Amory has always been quite the little diplomat, often using his vast understanding of languages and quick thinking to work his way through issues. This of course, much like his understanding of languages was translatable to other lines of work and diplomacy became quite an interesting topic for Amory to study, one that he still studies today. Amory attended Collegiate d’Évraux in Ithania originally, in search of early learning before going on to study states not taught in the school. (3) Government Forgery - 3 from Proficiency Points. Owning the various false stamps and stationery to fraud convincing Government Documents from any Ministry or Office within the Regalian Empire, Amory has always prided himself on his ability to put his trickery to good use, for the right people with the right causes. (3) Guard Forgery - 3 from Proficiency Points. Having acquired the required false stamps and stationery to fraud convincing Guard Permits, Arrest Warrants and decrees, Amory takes great pride in his ability to put his trickery to good use, for the right people with the right causes at least. Amory is given the ability to perfectly copy the writing from any specific individual, provided that he has seen their handwriting and signature on any document or on a note, allowing him to pose as them through written means. (3) Sorcery Pack - 3 from Proficiency Points. Following the fear he felt when he was practically locked in his own home by Alaric Keen, Amory found a way to break out of any blockages in his way, provided there’s a gap small enough that he can get through. Amory, following a run-up bursts into a cloud of ash and embers, the particles of which follow the path that he was originally taking and make their way between any blockages, through cracks and under doorways. (3) Sorcery Pack - 3 from Proficiency Points. Though his grandmother despaired at the thought of using magic in healing, Amory eventually caved and took it upon himself to learn how to use sorcery in just that way, now possessing the ability to mend surface tissue wounds such as cuts or bruises, casting for thirty seconds of continued channelling or deeper cuts and gashes which take up to two minutes. Racials & Abilities: Rogue Gift 1 - Olean Racial. Should Amory fail a dice roll for pickpocketing another character, he may roll a second time in an attempt to get a better roll. This effect may only apply once per person, per day. The failed attempt is simply retconned and the better of the rolls used. Rogue Gift 2 - Olean Racial. Amory is able to dictate OOCly, the use of this ability, allowing himself an instant success on any roll he pleases, though with the limit of doing this once a day only. Rogue Gift 3 - Roguery Pack. Provided Amory has seen the handwriting of a specific individual, he may perfectly imitate that person’s handwriting and signature on any piece of writing or document. Skin Purge 1 - Olean Racial. Possessing the ability to remove any and all scars, mutations, tattoos or other blemishes that affect his skin, including pigments, scriptures, textures and otherwise oddities, barring the likes of horns. He may choose which visual oddities to remove and can cause them to re-appear at will. Age Control 1 - Bodycare Training. Amory is able to change his appearance to be of any age within the adult age ranges at any time, though using make-up, skincare and posture correction to the point that the effects are just as indistinguishable as the magical version of this ability. Light Mend 2 - Sorcery Pack. Amory, through concentrated casting, can mend surface tissue wounds such as cuts or bruises, casting for thirty seconds of continued channelling or deeper cuts and gashes which take up to two minutes. The Genevaud Dialect is the most commonly spoken tongue in the Kreiburg family and one that almost every member knows, with very rare exceptions. Amory is no different, having learned the Genvaud Dialect before any other language. Alt-Regalian. - Maternal Language. A sparcely used language, Amory tends to refrain from speaking Alt-Regalian; though he cannot avoid it when his mother seeks to speak privately with him. Often he is only found speaking the language if dragged into it. Common Tongue. - Maternal Language. The common tongue is widely known, the Heartland Ceardian standard for the Archipelago; Amory is perhaps most fluent in the common tongue, known for writing the majority of his works in the language. His mother trained him to read, write and understand this language in his early years. Studied languages: Wa'an/Wa'co. - Linguistics Knowledge. Wa'an and Wa'co only interested Amory after the Howlester's Sihai Cultural Festival, in which Amory learned about Haikus and also became closer to his now dismissed palest; Arien Pavise. He learned the language so that one day he might study the Sihai culture to some degree. Ithanian Dialect. - Linguistics Packs. In his youth, Amory began studying refined languages, ones that would serve him well within the Holy City, as he always knew he would end up there someday, a fact that his uncles and father would continuously remind him of. Etosian Dialect. - Linguistics Packs. During his travels across the Archipelago, Amory took to the eastern coastline of the archipelago, which led him to Etosian regions such as Tessolikim Oreinó Teíchos and Athous. There, he met various interesting individuals and his companion, a Falcon by the name of Perseus. Faraddi. - Linguistics Knowledge. Amory only took up the study of Faraddi upon discovering the beauty and technique behind the written side to the language, though he rarely uses it to communicate; there are odd scrawlings in his journals. Singular words that he often hides in plain sight, perhaps using the language as a sort of redaction technique to a degree. Visual Information Eye Color: Taupe Brown. Hair Color: Ashy Blonde. Personality and Abilities How would your character express Happiness and Contentedness? Amory is happiest when left alone, to his own devices; he spends the majority of his time in his study and that is when he is at the peak of his happiness. He tends simply to smile when he is happy, though due to his misfortune with understanding social queues he can look quite the fool when he starts smiling in the wrong situation. How would your character respond to experiencing Fear? Amory has many fears, some new, some old. Commonly Amory is a cool and collected individual who rarely loses his temper, but if someone manages to set him off; by means of frightening him or otherwise, he'll start by raising his voice to try and scare others away through intimidation, and when that fails, he often becomes slightly more radical in his actions and thoughts. How would your character respond to experiencing Stress? Stress is a common factor in Amory's life, he has little patience for social situations and will often toy with people around him to amuse himself; though his stress is easily spotted in that he can become twitchy and shake, his breathing slows and breaths draw deeper. More often than not, Amory will seek to escape a stressful situation swiftly. How does your character view Law and Authorities? Amory remains aligned with the law, commonly using it to his advantage against those that would seek to detriment him; with regards to Authorities, he currently serves as an Arcanum Scribe and as such is extremely cooperative with law enforcement. He enjoys social structure to the point he's studied it and admires authoritarian structures. How does your character feel about Races other than their own? Amory believes all other races to be lesser than Ailor, considering Ailor to be superior in every way due to both his faith and his more conservative upbringing. He often utilizes individuals of other races to help himself through life, knowing a few individuals of different races from within his family's house guard. Commonly, he finds himself uttering insults about those he considers lesser than himself. How does your character feel about Religion for themselves, and other faiths? Amory is a member of the Sancellan Imperial Sect of Unionism, following the belief that Unionism should host a more militarized divine structure where the church should be headed by the Emperor himself, cutting out the Supreme Reverend and the Conclave in the process. He is extremely firm on his position of faith. How does your character feel about the Arcane and Magical in the world? Following his want to protect himself, Amory has learned two sorcery spells, though he doesn’t quite understand how they work exactly, he knows how to manifest the power and how to utilize it to his own wants and needs. He no longer recoils at the thought of magic being used on, or around him. How does your character feel towards their family? Amory has practically abandoned his family at this point, having attempted to forget his life with them since his views on his previous patriarch dropped exponentially as Theopold, in Amory’s eyes, ran the family into the ground and forced their fall from grace through a series of failed plans and plots to gain further power and land outwith their homeland of the Genevaud Mountian Ranges. What is your character the most proud of about themselves? One of the many things Amory takes pride in is his ability to learn nearly anything he's put his mind to, though a great deal of the time he is unable to put his abilities to practical use; he learns for the sake of learning. For the sake of garnering power through his studies and using that power to better those with less than him, to help those in need. What motivates your character to move forward and better their life? Amory, following his abandonment of House Kreiburg, decided to travel again, though his memories of various individuals in the Holy City drew him back to Regalia if only to live his life as he has now reformed and restructured it, with the hope that he can finally do something important and in his own name, rather than in the name of House Kreiburg. What is your character's biggest insecurity? Amory has admitted to disliking the shape of his nose and will commonly become embarrassed should someone point out it's size, considering it his worst feature by far; he refuses to even speak about it due to his discomfort. His nose was actually broken a few times by his father in his younger years, a way of toughening his son up; throwing hands with the poor young writer and breaking the nose put it into Amory's head that he's anything but pretty. What is your character's biggest fear? Amory is petrified of being held as a prisoner by absolutely anyone, a fear which stems from Alaric Keen’s confinement of his family in their own estate. As such, Amory learned how to use a travel spell to make his way through any objects that may allow him to press through in his travel form, in which he bursts into ashes and embers. Life Story Born to Godderik & Giselle Kreiburg on the 23rd of January in 282AC; Amory was his father’s third child and his mother’s first. He grew up in Alpen, where his father had decided to base them for the sake of distancing from his family; his early years as a toddler were spent mostly with his mother however, his father being a Commander in the Regalian military and often being posted away from home. His mother was known for her love of reading and her immaculate pen hand, teaching Amory from a young age to read and write in the Common Language, Genevaud Dialect and Alt-Regalisch; her own mother tongue as she came from Regalia herself. A great deal of Amory’s childhood was spent in torment at the behest of his father, his older half-siblings commonly mocking him and his father even resorting to striking him when he refused to train with a weapon. Commonly beaten, starved and tormented mentally to the point where his anguish drove him to go voluntarily mute; Amory found himself put down, his aspirations dwindling in his earliest moments. During his periods of stress, his mother would often lead him to her study to read or write with her; allowing him to communicate with his uncle and other various members of his family so many miles away in Langthal. He used his writing as a faucet, creating journals of his observations; turning the world about him into a research tool to escape the cruel reality he was living. His uncle, in his tenth year of age, took him to be a scribe and Amory was sent to Langthal, where his uncle found Amory’s journals and withheld Amory from his parents for his safety. He took sole responsibility for the boy and let him stay in the Allenberg Townhouse where a study and small library was put together for the boy. Raised alongside his cousins, Amory spent a great deal of time being teased by his cousin Anika due to his inability to properly communicate; coming to find her irritating as time carried on. In his fifteenth year of study he properly took on the study of other languages after seeing a Farradi scripture in his uncle’s office and deciding that the beauty and elegance of the writing was simply too complex to pass up, he had to know how to write in the language. This led to other various influences from Qadir culture, his outfits started looking much more suited to warm weather, often showing off a singular arm for the sake of remaining within reasonable boundaries for a conservative family. He soon took to proper skincare and haircare routines, began working out and in his seventeenth year of life his father passed away. He felt no need to mourn, he had longed for a father and his uncle provided that role to him; it was just another cruel soul passing over and onto the next life. In his early twenties, Amory set out on his initial travels about the Archipelago, firstly taking to Ithania in order to learn at the Collegiate d’Évraux to study Diplomacy. He spent a good three years there, the school becoming the foundation for his interest in foreign affairs and his studies of governments within the various regions of the Regalian Empire. Such studies led Amory to take an interest in official documents and the forgery of such documents, and naturally, that interest led Amory to learn how to forge such documents. He was considered a rather unsociable type by his fellow students of diplomacy, simply due to his lack of interest in anything other than his studies. His travels following his studies at the Collegiate d’Évraux took him eastwards to the coast, into Etosian lands where he found a heavy interest in their ways of life and the dialect they spoke. He soon fell in love with the culture and remained there to study the language and the Etosian’s ways of life. He remained there for some two years before he finally received a call to attend the Holy City of Regalia, which he answered almost immediately. His arrival in Regalia was rather queer, his early months in the city being plagued with the plotting of Playeros and the later months being corrupted by Alaric Keen, all of which terrified him beyond belief. Amory’s only solitude was his palest at the time, a Sihai known as Arien Pavise, who introduced him to the Sihai culture alongside the Howlesters. All good things come to an end, however. The plotting of Amory’s cousin Theopold grew too much for him, so many failures simply pushed Amory away, forcing him to flee Regalia at the first sign of trouble and returning home to Genevaud, where he finally found out the truth of his father’s death, learning that a man by the name of Sigvard Berghalle had cut him down when he’d been attacked by Godderik. Amory felt a strong surge of various emotions, perhaps he was confused as to what exactly went down, but he felt no ill will to the stranger, instead searching for him to speak with him on the topic. It was another year before Amory found himself in the presence of the Berghalle, a man who he appeared to get on with much better than anyone else he knew. House Kreiburg was on the verge of toppling and Amory, in his desperation to escape from the household and to change his name, to seek honour under another household decided to take on the name Eichenberger, a name of his own design, a name that would allow him to be his own person, to serve his own purpose and to live a life to his own whims. It was when he had finally finished reinventing himself that he decided to return to the Holy City.

Do you have Amory registered for the WS? If yes then you will have to revert the Diplomacy investment as nothing can be changed right now. But if not I don't see anything wrong with it thematically so you'll be all set for me. Because of this I'll be marking you off as approved so just correct your proficiencies if the character is registered and just give me a tag so I know. @Vivamente
@Wumpatron - I've actually not registered him yet, he didn't have diplomacy when the system came to life; though with the upcoming proficiency rework that I've heard is in the works, would it be worth waiting due to me having to probably rework him with the upcoming changes?
@Wumpatron - Actually he did have Diplomacy and Marty said on the ticket bot "Amory has no proficiencies that need to be locked in and registered"
@Wumpatron - Slowly but surely the changes are coming into effect, I've used what's currently there as a guideline; as I will have a fair bit to cover in his life-story rewrite too, though I feel those will be his proficiencies in the long-run.
