His childhood was relatively normal and uneventful as he spent his days being doted upon by his parents and grandparents alike. Young into his childhood a spear and shield was thrust into his hand. Many many years were spent honing the use of both items to mastery or near mastery. After many sweeps and brushes with death, his family was proud with his progress. Sometime around his seventeenth year of life, he was thrust out of his home as it is customary for all Songaskian. Left out in the dust with nothing to his name and no one to go to, he started to walk. He began selling his services as a mercenary. Eventually joining a mercenary band meant that he had a place to now call home once more. His friends would continue to get hurt repeatedly during contracts and such, so he took up the art of healing. After a few years of learning, he could go up against almost any wound and heal it properly. His time on the road was some of the best times of his life. He took up small idle hobbies to pass the time when they were not taking contracts. They finally got one, traveling through Regalia to get to their destination. His whole group fell in love with the city and they unlawfully ditched their job and duties. Ensa was wary of this, but he swore he would make up for it somehow, someway.
