During his childhood, Ruarid would help his father in the family clinic, which was built into the side of his house. They called it Holdenclin. - Ruarid’s short-term goal is to grow knowledge on alchemy and medical science, and also to find proof of his crackpot theory of how the body works. He is reminded of home when he sees them and gets a short wave of nostalgia, one of the rare times that he feels something. The only think Ruarid cares about and likely will ever care about is his Crow ‘Able’. He named it after his late grandfather who he never met. Alchemy. Ruarid loves alchemy Dislikes: People. Ruarid likes to work alone, and he is very picky about who he will let into his life. He’s not looking for friends here. Kathar. Ruarid doesn’t express this directly but, from what happened to his father, he sees most Kathar as violent, murderous monsters. Ruarid highly dislikes being questioned or disagreed with. Life Story: Early Childhood: 1-5 Ruarid was born in a small village in New Ceardia to Adam Ableson va Holdenclin. He grew up in a house/clinic called Holdenclin. His father would work the days there while Ruarid spent the days at home. He didn’t question why he only had a dad, because it hadn’t crossed his mind that it was normal to have a mother. One day, when Ruarid was 5, he saw a Dragged Crow with a damaged wing getting pinned and eaten by wildcats. He ran down the street towards it and the cats scattered, leaving the injured crow. He brought it back to his father who said he’d try to heal it but there wasn’t much hope. Miraculously, the bird survived. He named it Able and the crow hasn’t left his side since. Late Childhood: 6-12 By this time Ruarid had begun helping at the clinic. Learning Alchemy and Medical Science as he went. Ruarid was a very observant kid. He grew to see things in his own ‘light’, disregarding fact in favor of a new theory he was developing and shared to his father. His father did not approve. Early Teenage Years: 13-15 At 13 Ruarid took up training with a Rapier. His father used one and he wanted to as well. He excelled with his view of fighting as more of an art form than anything. Is was also around this time that he had a religion crisis. While being raised into Unionism, his pale skin and pink-ish eyes were causing visitors and newcomers to the village to say he was blessed by the Old Gods. Being confused by everything and not sure what was happening, he resulted in believing nothing. Late Teenage Years: 16-17 When he was 16 his father moved to Regalia, with the dream of starting Holdenclin in the big city where they could help more people. Unfortunately, this dream was never realized. At 17, his father fell in with the wrong crowd and was shot to death by a Kathar with a crossbow. This loss impacted him greatly, causing him to slowly cut away at his humanity. He saw Able as the closest think he still had to his father and still cherishes them dearly. Ruarid’s Lost Years: 18-47 Ruarid has stopped paying attention to the passing of time, stopped paying attention to the event unfolding around him. He has cut himself off from most human emotion. To put is clearly, he has lost his sanity. Not in the extravagant way, but in a more subtle way. He doesn’t value anything, including himself. The only thing he still values is Able. He still holds on to his father’s dream of creating Holdenclin in the big city, but it seems to be drifting farther and farther away. He holds a strange mindset. Above his knowledge of medical science and alchemy he holds his personal theory of how things work. (This is a highly modified version of the humors theory) He works as a doctor and works under a modified version of the Plague Doctor’s Contract to whoever he can convince to accept it.

Here is my review: - Please include a calculation for physical stat - You also get light mend 1 from Medical Training - Ceardia is an inhospitable continent now, it was rendered extremely corrupted and borderline destroyed by the Cataclysm over 300 years ago, the only thing living on Ceardia are monsters of the Void.
