Life Story Pellegrino was born on August 4th, 253 AC in the capital of the Torono province, Lucino. He had loving parents who instilled moderate-leaning traditionalist Dressolini and Calemberger ideals and beliefs, having had his di Orazio family experience with a falcon at age 5 in 258 AC, whom he dubbed Pippino. At age six he was tutored in Heartland-style Common, math, history, and other basic skills demanded of a growing noble child. He tested into being a Kommandeur, going to the best Vultarin university for it. Arriving at the university at age 14, Pelle was an avid student and took a liking to artillery during his time there, eventually graduating as an artillery officer soon after his 19th birthday, and stationed in a distant military post in the Sun Isles to gain more experience as an officer, became a decent front line officer during his training in the Sun Isles in the year he was stationed there, also picking up a lifetime hobby there: opera singing, becoming quite good at it, as well as becoming a decent shot with a crossbow with a Pavisa tutor. Pelle took charge of his first battalion of men in the Drachenwald Crisis. When he returned home, harrowed from his experiences in the Drachenwald Crisis and the deaths of his family members, Pelle had an affair with a member of a di Orazio cadet house, Lucina dei Moreno, and left before his bastard daughter Camilla was born. After the Senate was formed, Pelle sold his skill and services to any noble house, leading troops for roughly ten years. While dictating battles for coin, he found typical Dressolini pseudo-warfare boring and got a degree in diplomacy from the Regalian Diplomacy Academy at age 27. By the age of thirty-one, the man was bored out of his mind, and when he heard of the Medavinci and Sangiovese families forming a war hawk party in the Regalian Senate, he actively campaigned with the families as a representative of the noble house di Orazio in favor of a war, building a sense of political awareness, having never touched such a field before. While not necessarily in favor of the more jingoistic tones of the Iron Bulwark, he knew that a war would solve the Regalian Pessimism. The Azzi would spend the next six or so years in the name of working for the cause of the Iron Bulwark, and deciding to enter into the Statesman College, and then the Narlas College of Commerce to round out his skills as a future patriarch. A year before he was destined to set out and sailed with the fleet in 285 AC, Pelle reunited with his then-estranged teen daughter at age 33, deciding to stay with her and reconnect rather than go to war. Pelle went to attend family celebrations for those di Orazio returning from the victorious war, but in 291 at the age of 38, he suffered the loss of his father Osvaldo at the hands of Slizzar assassins. Pelle took his father's death very heavily, locking himself away for four years, working on various treatises of tactics as an outlet to push away the pain he felt, before the Ranger Crisis began, shipping out, but only arriving in Daen after the Ularen Horde agreed to a treaty with Regalia, ending up sailing back home almost immediately after in 295 AC. When he arrived back home, he immediately set off for the city of Calemberg, and, not wanting to bog himself down like in the aftermath of the Drachenwald Crisis, instead attended the numerous wargame sessions the New Regalians of Calemberg had, practically doing nothing but participating in those up until the Elven War of 302 AC. Having briefly toured the sites of the battle to get an idea of how to handle his next war, he came down with a jungle sickness from his time in Daen, and opted to continue going to the wargames instead of going to war sick. However, when the Consortium made its move, he escaped Calemberg, and with his family’s armies already accounted for, he simply remained home, happily reading away at the various military treatises he acquired in Calemberg. Staying in the capital of the Empire with his family to advance the political influence of the family, Pelle got his first true taste in politics, staying there for a couple of months before the First Songaskian War began in November of 302 AC, promoting an anti-Songaskian hardliner stance after witnessing the mysterious events at the Harvest Ball and the Archdemon Beashel, thinking they were somehow connected, and promoting this stance all the way up until February of next year, where the City of Regalia fell. Pelle, not wanting to risk the health and safety of his family further, with the family regent and regentee imprisoned, he signed a collaboration form with the occupiers, planning on acting as a double agent, partaking in the Crownguard rebellion briefly before the occupiers fell and the anti-Songaskian rebels were declared traitorous, and his family slipped into the background, having lost their titles and their former matriarch and her regentee after the war concluded in June 303 AC. Pelle largely stayed home in his family’s former lands of Torono throughout the takeover of government by Andrieu Anahera, learning all the different Nelfin languages from a tutor by the name of Luraell’o Aethandir. Though now commoners, Pelle decided that, without dropping his love for wargames, tactics, and actual battle strategies themselves, he would pick up a new study of the Nelfin race, having first-hand witnessed the power, eventually becoming a quiet member of the Occultae Scholarium, and attended the conflict when Regalia became involved in Torse, watching in horror at the outcome of the Battle of Curag Fields, and witnessed the beginning of the Bone Horror Crisis, at the end of the Battle of Adelaar Cliffs, where he and a Howlester alerted the Regalian forces to the incoming Isldar atop wyverns. Pelle remained on a ship in all the confusion, and duly was barking orders to the captain to leave, already under attack from the Bone Horrors. Once back in the Archipelago, he really studied intensely, often neglecting arrangements made by his newly ennobled uncle Piero, who let him take hold of one of the family cadet branches to make his own, forming the county of Alabano. When Freya Lo and her Deathlings took over in the capital city, he swiftly joined the resistance in the countryside, acting as a tactician for the loyalists to the Empire in 305 AC. During the crisis he helped capture the Alpha Marken and helped direct the eventual retaking of the city. He oversaw a brief stint as a Regalian City Councilor when he returned, before retiring from political life, aiming to go to the Calemberg Ordner School of Command to refresh his skills, taking three years to do so. Now returning to the city in 308 AC, as a member of the Marshal Cabinet, he fought in the Sendrassian Wars before stepping down after it concluded. Soon, he then joined the Wulfmacht Court, seeing them as a paragon and final bastion of conservatism, despite being more of a Hiltfrontist himself, he didn't like what he perceived as the decline of the nobility he was formerly a part of, ditching his attempted reform of his family and returning to his roots as a di Orazio. However, with the disappearance of most of the Wulfmachts, he retired to the Solacian Isles, picking up a hobby of sport hunting with his newly acquired rifle. Upon many years later hearing the news of the Bralona Occupation he eagerly took the earliest ship back to defend the city once more. Once the threat of the occupation was defeated, he promptly returned back to Solacia. A year so later, an old friend in the military asked him to come to look after a particular group of mercenaries newly arrived in the capital, calling themselves the Black Sparrows. Once more, he rose up out of retirement and arrived in the city, ready to deal with its insanity yet again.

Review! All in all, I believe this is a pretty well written application, with balanced traits and an otherwise unique enough occupation. However, I do have a few edits that I feel could clarify your character further. Now, combat wise, you display Pelle's favoured weapon to be that of a sword, and yet you make no mention of any combat experience, be it sparring or otherwise. Moreover, you don't mention much exercise within Pelle's lifestory to deem him his athletic, fit build at all. I'd like to see more mention of it within his lifestory, wherein you display to me his progression of combat and fitness over the years, where he's not entirely focused on his studies and artillery practice. I doubt it'll take you too long, considering the way you write as is. I'm more so assuming it was just a lack of forethought on your part, which is fine and dandy. Upon closer inspection, reviewer made an error in approving this application. The following supposed permission: "Marshall of the Artillery in the Imperial Army." Is a made-up one that does not exist in lore. Even if it did exist in lore, the Marshal positions are not open for Special Permission registry. @HydraLana I found that I was still using the old revision where Society Knowledge costed four points per pack. I have adjusted it to be only six points in Society Knowledge, and shifted the extra two points to Siege Tactics Skill.

Here's my review; Please stop trying to revive dead old cringe families. Change the last name and try to build up something new than relying on the lore of a family that died out years ago.

@Caelamus heyo, updated Pelle to the most recent Proficiency update. Switched Polearm and Thin Blades for Duelist and Tactician, and Longneck and Puretek for Buster and Purity. I also adjusted the backstory which initially said he didn't participate in the Deathling Crisis, however looking at old progressions from the Deathling Crisis he did actually partake in the events, and thus I edited it accordingly in blue.
