⊏ Θ ⊐ The League of Sports Spoiler: Thread Ambience To compete against one another breeds growth, and thus those at the top can claim their superiority over one another in feats of physical strength and strategy. The League of Sports is an organization consisting of multiple organized teams that will play in scheduled games against each other. Events consisting of a single or several sports are not uncommon, but the purpose of the League of Sports is to compete over the course of a tournament (Which will be referred to as a LoS Season), as well as providing both participants and viewers entertainment. It was created on the first of June, 309 AC, by Lord Dorothios Spathous upon searching for ways to participate in sports. While sports are mostly played as a pastime activity, this league takes it a step forward to making it as equally ambitious as a combat tournament. Thus, rules & regulations will be maintained, and in return accommodations will be provided to the winners. Those who do not find themselves in shape to participate should seek out the Imperial Isle Athletics Club. ⊏ Θ ⊐ Rules: ψ Cheating done by any single or multiple players on a team will cause the entire team to forfeit their game, leading to an instant loss. What counts as cheating is breaking any of the rules of each specific game, which will have its own set of rules declared before it is hosted. ψ Herbal, Alchemical, Magical, and Counterfeit performance enhancers are prohibited by standard. Any exemptions will be written in a list, otherwise you may not participate in the games. ψ Sabotaging the other team at any point in time within the league is prohibited. Sabotaging falls under doing anything to put a player, or the entire opposing team(s) at an inherent disadvantage. Sabotaging another team will lead to the disbandment of the team the rulebreaker is on. [ OOC ] You do not have to have an approved character to partake in the league. However, the games have bonuses and whatnot which only players with specific proficiencies and physical stat can access.
