Life Story Childhood: Lszana was hatched March 13, 268 AC, and given to two Izu-Allar mothers, as per the Allar caste system, born during the reign of Miko Missa’s empire. From a young age, they were expected to receive a high education, learning from tutors at a young age, receiving the best education to be expected of a child of those in governance. Lszana took quickly to their education and, once they were 18, were put into the Hadarian College of Governance, to learn to act as a political advisor like their mothers. While there, they picked up tutors in magic, recognizing the conflict between Hadaria and Regalia, but ignoring it as best they could. Soon they no longer had that option, having to evacuate from their home in Northern Hadaria as Regalian militaries pushed further inland, having to move further South with their parents and most citizens of the local towns to flee the oncoming war. Once the war was over, they went back to the Hadarian College of Governance for their final year of schooling, and completed their tutorship in the arcane, becoming an intermediate sorcerer and a well-learned statesman. Young Adulthood: Lszana was put on an advisory board in order to organize wartime relief and recovery for their province within, in post-war day, the nation of Vizzal, ruled by an elected Als-Allar ruler, rotated every few years. After rising in the ranks within the board, becoming one of the most trusted advisors within their province, they were assigned and sent off to the Cro-Aezzan Society of Observation, to better utilize their skills of deceit in governance. After 3 years within the school, during which they retook to their tutoring in the arcane to learn more sorcery, Lszana graduated at the top of their class and moved back to their hometown in Vizzal. There, they would continue their work in governance, with the occasional foray into espionage for the Lazzai they worked under. After a few more years, at the age of 30, they grew tired of their work, no longer feeling fulfillment or satisfaction in advising for their province, or in gathering information at soirees and balls. In a midlife crisis move, Lszana packed up two bags of books, clothing and an assortment of personal items, and got on a boat headed for the Regalian Archipelago. Adulthood: They arrived in the Archipelago with very little fanfare, and immediately enrolled in the Regalian Diplomatic Academy. For the next three years, they studied under diplomats across Aloria, going from Daen, to Ithania, to Altalar Principalities, even back to Hadaria every so often. They learned under fellow scholars, picking up books on the arcane from the Principalities, on jacobinism and democracy in Daen, on culture and the arts in Ithania. They accumulated quite the library in their home in Anglia, often a recluse from the locals, pouring over books and delving into the scholarly learnings they missed from their school days. After the Academy, they took a year long break, studying and reading and writing their own notes and studies and theories. It was during this time that, in one of their books on the arcane, they stumbled upon mention of Seraph Ruins. Lszana immediately took to studying what that meant, what the Seraph were, what the ruins might’ve held. They learned of artifacts, items created by old magic, magic lost to time. It is because of this that they left their humble estate in Anglia and travelled to the Crown Isle. They enrolled in the Imperial Regalian Archaeology Academy almost as soon as they landed, and, while not learning about Seraph Ruins, they learned of more lost historical sites, and took to such studies immediately. After 3 years, at the age of 38, they left for Tanaar Ivaëlle, to study more on Seraph ruins and artifacts. They found, of course, very little by means of actual ruins, or any artifacts, and fled the province upon hearing rumors of the rising Allorn Empire. Present: Lszana has made their way back to the Crown Isle and Regalian City, to the employment of the Kreiburg House as Court Mage. They’re in the city to further their knowledge of the arcane, and to try to study the artifacts that the city has possession of, if not able to find an artifact for themself.
@KrakenLord01 After playing the character for a bit, I've completely removed their Stave Combat, and piled all those points into alchemy, while aging them up 3 years, to put Alchemy at 20. Changes made in Green.
@KrakenLord01 Howdy :) Honkin' update due to the sorcery update. Aged em up to 40, gave em the sorcery spells, etc. Backstory was entirely rewritten, but it has the same mainpoints, just them being older. Also gave them linguistics, seeing as, with the age up, they'd have spent 13 years in Daenshore so learning the language made sense. Changes made in Green :)
