As a single child living in Genevaud, he became accustomed to a life of hunting on the mountains almost immediately, and scavenging for food seemed natural to him. Many of his friends lived a different lifestyle, engulfed in wealth and riches. Able to afford their luxuries at times, Hanz did not feel left out. However, at the age of thirteen, his mother fell extremely ill, and the only way to help her survive was to go and find herbs in the wild. After searching for days and weeks, his mother passed away, causing Hanz to feel extreme guilt, thus leaving him and his father alone. After a brief period of one year, Hanz decided to join the Order of the Great Oak and take time away from Genevaud. While hunting Hanz often prayed to the old gods asking for a good hunt and to keep him safe. He often used his hunts as a way to build his spiritual connection to the gods that he prayed to often talking to them. He most often prays to the union of earth offering part of his hunt to the old gods to please them. After praying so much to the gods to keep his mother alive he started to loose a lot of his faith when she died of an illness. Hanz started his training in his order by working with the Swordkin in carrying out basic tasks around the Lodge. He quickly gained more trust and popularity after being a very skilled hunter. He trained every other day to build his strength and his ability to win a fight. After several years Hanz petitioned to go on a solo hunt and doing so he proved to himself that he has improved since his mother died. This time not praying to the old gods he carried out a successful hunt with his own skill bringing back two large deer. After his success in his solo hunt he achieved the title of Swordkin, becoming a full-fledged member of the Order. For many years, Hanz continued to hunt with his group and Order, feeling needed and now satisfied. Through the Great Oak Order, he met a lifelong friend named Grevis Halensige. For many days, Hanz and Grevis spent time together in the group, having been fairly new recruits at the time of their meeting. However, for years, the two stayed close together and successfully graduated from the academy at age 24. Soon after ending his study at the order, Hanz traveled back home to Genevaud, only to discover his father had been killed by mercenaries, causing him to be left alone. From the new found grief, Hanz traveled to the Kreiburg Castle in Genevaud ,asking the family who ruled the lands to help avenge and make justice to the mercenaries that had killed his father. Doing so he joined the Genevaud professional mercenaries commanding their troops to hunt down the mercenaries that had killed his father. After doing so he wanted to help the Kreiburgs in any way he could. The Baron Theopold Kreiburg then offered him a job as a Kreiburg guard in the city. He accepted knowing that it would bring him closer to the people he respected most in the world. He then left his home and was sent off to Regalia to begin. On his way to Regalia he came across a hermit in Dragonthall who helped him get over the death of his family and finally come to closure, his name was Jervas Dudley. He helped him by showing him a faith that was not the old gods that he had lost faith in. It was unionism. Jervas then decided to go to the city with Hanz to make a new life. He taught Hanz more about his faith on their trip to the city which lead to Hanz offering him residence with him. Now Hanz tries to attend every unionist event he can.
@Stewyblue To start, your formatting is very off. I'd suggest removing the numbers at each section title , and centering those titles. Something like this: Then repeat for everything but the Life Story and you're set. It might get a bit rough to handle when window-editing (especially when you reach the Proficiency section), so don't be afraid to use the More Options button to make it a bit easier on you. I'd also ask that you add another paragraph to his life story. Give more detail to his training as a whelp in the Great Oak lodge, maybe explain how a middle-class teen in Genevaud managed to get to one of the lodges in the first place, or how his Unionist faith persisted in the North, what with all that hunting. After all, 7/10 devotion is pretty heavy. After all that is done, I'll gladly approve this application.
I made all th I've made all the changes in blue besides me fixing the overall visual improvements. i decided to pick a religion that goes better with his character and explain more about his order and his religion.
@Stewyblue Please clarify on how Hanz became Unionist and learned to command troops in your Life Story.
