This message serves no purpose but act as a pushy, in-your face "buy premium" reminder. There's no reason for it to show up every time you place a painting. In fact, there's no reason it needs to show up at all. Nobody is gonna wonder "Gee golly willickers, fellas! Why can't I change this painting by scrolling?!" Instead, it's just spam on your screen whenever you try to use paintings without premium.

Go old school and break the painting until you have the one you want, simple

he’s saying he does do that, the message of “you can’t scroll” is just spamming his screen every time he lays down a painting and it’s obnoxious

Exactly. I try to do it the old school way, and am punished for not having money to pay. Every time a non premium places down a painting, they are greeted with this message. If you try to get the painting you want the old school way, you can kiss your chat goodbye.

I feel as though choosing paintings "the old fashioned way" is nothing so stressful. I find it quite easy, actually, and have learned to isolate paintings according to their size by simply framing the wanted space with extra blocks. It only takes a few, patient clicks to get what you need.

Oh no, he’s not complaining about placing pictures normally. He’s saying that 9 out of 10 times when you place a painting it will say “You can not scroll to change the painting, get premium to do so!” or whatever it says and then it ends up spamming the chat and washing out anything anyone says to you.

9/10? 10/10. If you so much as place a painting, it does that.
