She grew up with a large, militaristic Fin’ullen family, alongside her many siblings, parents, and other relatives, though she shared the closest bond between her elder sister, Joyielessa. ☼ The young Fin’ullen was always eager to learn and explore, often roaming around the town unsupervised. The moment she was able to, Olli’ began learning how to sail, tagging along on boat rides with her elder sisters. Being skilled sailors themselves, the young Esta’lorn learned things that would normally be taught in an Admiral academy. ☼ After hearing word of a underground knight order called the Monzon, Olli’s curiosity was piqued. She convinced her mother-- who had not yet learned of the Monzon, that they were a respectable order much like the other famous orders. Despite her mother’s concern, Olli’ sought out the order after traveling in the dead of night to board a ship headed to Girobalda. She was greeted with heavy scrutiny, though accepted into the order as a Page, nevertheless. ☼ The first years were grueling, being forced to do debasing work like dressing the other knights in their armor and cleaning their weapons-- and with the added longing for her home and family, the Fin’ullen was miserable. After her 14th birthday, Olli’ was finally promoted to the rank of Squire, where she began training and accompanying her mentor on missions. ☼ Nearly 7 years after her training began, Olli’ graduated from the order with the rank of Dame-at-Arms at age 21. Instead of setting off to do work, she headed straight home, where she was greeted by a displeased, yet unconditionally loving family. Olli’, eager to do work, took on small-time jobs from the underworldly areas of her region in Daendroc. ❂ |CHAPTER TWO| A Pirate's Life ☼ Years later, as she completed job after job, Olli’ had become notorious around her town. She was popular among the smugglers-- pirates especially, for her extensive knowledge on sailing. Olli’ would be hired for numerous jobs for a particular pirate crew, until they developed an understanding. The pirates, no longer wanting to pay for the Fin’ullen’s work, decided to kidnap her from her home and lock her in the brig as they left the port. ☼ For the majority of her time on the ship, Olli’ would be kept in the brig until the crew was certain she wouldn’t attempt to escape. She would not partake in raids or plundering, or indulge in drinking and partying. She would be escorted everywhere she went when on land, and given tasks to carry out only when absolutely necessary. ☼ The years passed. The crew had finally managed to regain a semblance of their previous relationship with Olli’. They let her out of the brig for good behavior, and allowed her to partake in plundering. The more time she spent with the pirates, the more she grew open to their lifestyle. Olli’ allowed herself to indulge in their way of life, including their vices. Within a couple of years, the Monzon went from being a somewhat respectable knight, to a thieving, conniving pirate. ❂ |CHAPTER THREE| The Crown Isle ☼ The crew went from port to port, city to city, in search for supplies, rest, and a good time. They had yet to come across any ship worth raiding, the only ships they came across being small fishing vessels and ill-supplied merchant ships. It was during her last year as a pirate that her crew stumbled upon a ship right for plundering. ☼ Upon boarding the ship, the crew were surprised to be met with skilled fighters and especially skilled captain. The raid was a failure, leaving more than half of her crew decimated. Olli' was able to cheat death yet again and managed to escape with her remaining crew, leaving her with only minor injuries. However, this failed raid coaxed Olli' into an early retirement. ☼ Eight long years Olli' spent as a pirate, and she felt it was high time to settle down and start a new life. Afraid that she would be caught by authorities in Daendroque after their failed raid, she set her eyes on the Crown City, having heard stories about it from many of her shipmates. After stealing the ship’s only lifeboat, Olli’ escaped what remained of the crew, rowing aimlessly until she was picked up by a Regalian merchant ship, conveniently headed for the Crown Isle. Spoiler: IC Happenings ☼ Olli' arrives in Regalia at age 43. With no money or connections, she is forced to live in the slums. She quickly acquired several jobs around the Emporium, and gradually began gaining traction within the community. ☼ After joining a mercenary band, Olli' commits an unspeakable act: poisoning a village's water supply and razing its crops. Hearing word of this, Olli' is promptly excommunicated from the Monzon Order. ☼ Olli' meets her first lover, a Kathar. Despite their relationship, Olli' sets off to fight in numerous battles during the Dread War, serving as a ship captain. ☼ After she and her lover split, Olli' murders a Sihndar, stealing their Khoptar and refusing to return it. This in turn angers the entire community, who all vow to avenge their fallen comrade. ☼ Olli' meets her second love interest, Sibyllad Lykke, in Regalia at a tavern she worked at. The two were reluctant to start courting, though they gradually became closer, and eventually married a few months later. Olli' legally changed her name to her alias, "Molly," and took on the surname "Lykke." ☼ Molly becomes an acolyte to Nym'vrae Helvath, who would go on to teach her lightness sorcery. Through her, she becomes one of the first to be enlisted into the Arcanum, a magic-based guard charter. Shortly after, the Clicker Crisis begins, and Molly aids in ridding Regalia of the beasts after raiding the "Rift." ☼ Molly meets her elder sister-- Joycie's twin, Aerendyl. The two catch up, and quickly form a sisterly bond. ☼ Her now ex-Alpha and friend, Lorelei, kidnaps Molly, and infects her with Werebeastism. She is deemed missing by the Arcanum, and is forced to hide out in the sewers for several weeks, before finally resurfacing. She leaves the Arcanum shortly after. ☼ Months after leaving the mentorship of Helvath, and with little job opportunities, Molly is once again infected with Werebeastism, this time willingly. With the entrance of a new year, Molly yearns to start fresh and make a name for herself in the city of already popular and infamous figures. ╘◖════════════════ ∘◦❁◦∘ ════════════════◗╛
My few review points have to do with her life story: But she doesn't have any Proficiency with a bow and besides, the Drow barely use them because of their martial culture and glorification of hand-to-hand combat due to their following of Drovv ideals. But why did she need a new life? There is no mention of her being bored, or of something bad happening in her life to warrant this abrupt shift away from her homeland. @Caelamus Big Update: She's been tranformed into an Altalar ICly by Osowiec's mage, and gains all of the perks and abilities that go with it. Her proficiencies have changed, as well as her age. The Life Story has also been updated to accommodate for her change in race.
