This may not be the case for the honest, faithful Unionist however, due to the fact that the man is a Silven. That said, his soft spoken tone, accent and how he constructs his wording of things are often described as alluringly exotic. He aspires to entrap strangers in the illusion of his kindness and manipulate them for his own ends. After getting to know the Silven, it becomes obvious quite quickly the man is nothing more than a narcissist, who's vanity and self image is more important than even those close to him. He can be quite cruel to his friends, exploiting them if the situation calls for it, because when it all comes down to it, Dante's primary concern is self preservation. ❇ Second Paragraph | Inner Thoughts and Feelings: Dante sees himself as all powerful. He is prideful of his own abilities and looks, and doesn't spend much time, if any feeling guilty for his past misgivings as he wholeheartedly believes that they were for the best, and by mistreating others, he is inadvertently hardening them to the harshness of Aloria. He is confident in every move he makes, quick to alter his plan if he believes his safety or security is compromised, and would go so far as to murder a loved one to keep himself safe. He is by no means a coward, and is most definitely capable of making a chaotic decision for wealth, power or prestige. He perseveres, eager to reach his end goal no matter the cost, with no looking back. ❇ Third Paragraph | Towards Family and Friends: Its unsurprising that Dante doesn't have much family or friends. Those of whom can stand to be around him, for example his fellow gypsies in Troupe Fantasiá however know him to be sly and untrustworthy but valuable for his forethought, skill and resourcefulness. Of the many lovers he has had over the years, he has shown not one an ounce of respect or courtesy, leaving most dissatisfied emotionally with the man because of his knack to being uncaring. His father, knows Dante for being vindictive and scheming, and has struck him down on the occasions where they have interacted, as if disciplining a misbehaving dog. The closest thing Dante has to a brother is Tristan Kade, who again, also does not trust Dante very much, but the two have made use of each other in the past as their goals have aligned on occasion. This is the only instance where Dante puts aside his selfishness for the sake of others. ❇ Fourth Paragraph | Morality: Dante is essence is the perfect example of a neutral evil. He cares little for the well being of anyone or anything, and often cannot distinguish between friend or foe, choosing to punish both as equally as harsh for any believed slights that fall upon his doorstep. His cruel and harsh inner demeanour more often than not outweighs the man's charm and poise, and eventually leaves him lonely, not that he cares very much about that. He doesn't care for other's actions, good or bad, so long as they do not interfere with his desires or conquests, and will work with lawman or outlaw to see his aspirations become reality. ╒═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╕ ╘═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╛ Birth - Childhood ☄ Date of Birth: August 5, 270 AC. The Silven offspring of the Arken of Pride and a Daendroquin Altalar gypsy in Daenshore. His mother sold her infant child to another woman within their Troupe for twenty four regals. ☄ Dante's upbringing was harsh. On many occasion, the infant was beaten for misbehaving, and the constant travelling often left him confused and scared. ☄ By age four, he had become essentially a servant to his now mother figure, Madame Corsaire, a fortune teller and illusionist and obvious mind mage. She had a tough love relationship with her 'son', and made it clear she would not go easy on him, as the world would not for what he was: A Silven Gypsy. ☄ When Dante hit age seven, he had already traversed across the coastline of Daendroc, performing in dance routines, tambourine play and performing mock plays of what was occurring in the Regalian Crown Isle political scene, often taking on the guise of an Anahera family member for comedic effect. He had a natural affinity for acting and dancing, which became his pastime. Young Adolescence - Late Adolescence ☄ At age 10, Dante had become more than an actor. His Troupe was nefarious, mage ridden and hid criminal intent. He began to learn the secrets of espionage, pickpocketing and the importance and value of information from a moderately well known, failed Gang Lord Hector Gutierrez, who had joined the troupe. This was when Dante began to be tutored from what was known as 'The School of Vilestate'. ☄ Dante excelled in his sly endeavors, turning brother against brother, forging documents for money and even going so far as to sneak into other's homes to steal confidential letters as blackmail. He saw criminal life as his calling, but he wanted more. ☄ By the age of 14, Dante was using his skills on the fairer sex, picking up numerous lovers and also learning a little extra coin on the side with his wiles. ☄ In the same year, his mother figure, Madame Corsaire recognised these newfound talents of Dante and agreed to pass on her skills to him also by tutoring him in the ways of Mind Magic. ☄By age 19, Dante had learned his first spell form Madame Corsaire: Samsahri, the basic illusion hex to make objects appear like something else. This skill combined with that of his criminal tutoring brought the Silven much gratification and it soon began to go to his head. Twenties - Thirties ☄ Dante 'graduated' School of Vilestate in 288 AC, just in time to enact his first big score alongside Hector in Girobalda within the Empire. The two, coupled with some of Hector's old associates, managed to break into a baron's castle and gain access to some rather unsavoury letters to which the Baron was blackmailed with. Dante's share amounted to about 200 regals, more money than he had ever had in his life. ☄ Hector and Dante parted ways in 294 AC and Dante returned to Madame Corsaire's. With her guidance, Dante learned his second spell by the end of that year: Visage Mirage, to which Madame Corsaire used to both their advantage for less than legal affairs. ☄ By age 26, Dante had become a key member of his Troupe, rising up the hierarchy because of his talents. He became Madam Corsaire's shining glory. He had by now learned his third spell, Memory Recall from her many tomes on the subject of Mind Magic, which helped him keep himself out of the watchful eye of the various city guard orders. ☄ Dante's success with Madame Corsaire was not to last however, as his biological mother grew jealous of Corsaire's influence over Dante and wanted to use him for her own purposes. There was a fight and Corsaire perished at the hands of Dante's true mother. Upon learning of Corsaire's death, Dante under the guise of the Troupe leader snuck into her caravan and stabbed her to death. ☄ Dante was never caught for the act, and due to the nature of the Troupe, the body was left in a ditch to rot and the group moved on. He spent the next three years self tutoring himself from Corsaire's last tome and before his 30th birthday, he learned his fourth spell: Mind Bargain. Thirties - Present ☄ Dante left his Troupe in the Fall of that year, opting to go straight to the Capital City of the Regalian Empire to find a new tutor and possibly make his fortune. Within his first few years there, Dante found no one to tutor him in Mind Magic. He managed to fund himself a small den in the slums, leeching off of whatever favors he could get from the various gangs, one of whom taught him his fifth spell: Firewave, from the Elemental Magic, that he could use to defend himself. He even sometimes sold out his criminal comrades in exchange for rewards from the Violet Order. ☄ News of a new power came to meet Dante's ears when in 302 AC, Ott Keppkuula entered the city. Dante tried to meet with Ott himself, who he found out was his father through Tristan Kade. He learned that Ott was a powerful mage and as such, searched for Mages that somewhat equalled his magical strength, as he learned that staying around Ott would causing Dante immense eye pains. He did eventually find some tomes amongst some tattered books in an abandoned estate, but most if not all simply repeated what he had already known, bar some minute details. This reinforced his already known teachings in Mind Magic and helped him better understand Silven and the Void in general. ☄ After frequent abandonment and learning that he had the closest thing to a brother, Dante tried settling down in the City proper with a small commoner fortune he had earned for himself. He took on lover after lover, and contract after contract but eventually grew bored. Dante left the city after a heated row with Tristan, which ended with him sleeping under the Imperial Palace bridge, spooning with the Kade due to some magic interference. Dante disappeared for about a year, leaving for Daenshore once more to meet back up with his old allies. ☄ Now, in 306, Dante has returned to the capital with members of his original group and some others that he managed to coerce into joining subject to his leadership, under the guise of 'Troupe Fantasiá', to bring gypsy life back to the Capital and earn a greater fortune, gain authority and power..
