    Appearance Information
    • Abnormalities | Fairly early into his career, Qiyang has no scars worth noting, while bearing no mutations.

    • Appearance | Qiyang is fairly average in size, standing at 5’10” with slightly above average muscle mass. The Sihai has the look of a typical vagabond, his general appearance disheveled with his messy, dark hair concealed by a worn, straw hat and his rugged robes pieced back together through sloppy patchwork.

    Life Story
    • Childhood | Qiyang was born into a poor family of farmers. He was an only child, and spent most of his early life earning a basic education while helping around the farm by taking care of the animals.

    • Adolescence | After his father’s passing when he was twelve, Qiyang was forced to take on greater responsibilities. He was allowed to move into the city unsupervised, looking for any way to make extra money. It was where he began making friends in the city when he took to con artistry.

    • Early Adulthood | Eventually scamming the wrong people, Qiyang had a bounty placed on his head. The bounty hunter tasked with bringing him in took pity on him, seeing him as nothing more than young and reckless. He took Qiyang with him, offering to teach him the trade. Qiyang’s first few years as an unofficial bounty hunter were far from successful, seeing as he hardly had much other skills to show for.

    • Yuhai Milu | As he grew older, Qiyang parted ways with his mentor after “graduating” from his mentorship with him, and became fairly accomplished himself. He would eventually be met with a potentially promising contract, one which involved a prominent gang. Unfortunately, the gang was far better prepared, easily defeating him. They left Qiyang with the proposition of joining their gang, as they needed more manpower.
    • Regalia | After several years serving the Yuhai Milu, Qiyang along with the rest of the gang set off to the Crown City, hoping to expand their influence.
    • On a fair spring morning in 285 AC, Qiyang Zhou was conceived by two poor farmers living in the Jin-Lung Kingdom. He grew up on their rice farm an only child, and was quickly cultivated into a farmhand once he was capable of small tasks. The family, while having just enough of their own produce and meat for food to get by, found life in general to be miserable. As Qiyang grew older, he began to blame his parents for their poor status. He became increasingly unappreciative of the things he did have, desiring more to life than arduous labor on the boring rice farm he was confined to. Although he could have just ran away, there was nowhere to go, except more farmland, and he was much too young to wander the far off city unsupervised.
    • The child bided his time, doing as much as he could to prepare himself for life on the run as early as possible. This finally became a reality once his father, suffering from [deathly illness], passed away, leaving all of his responsibilities to his barely adolescent son. Despite this, Qiyang, now aged twelve, felt he was ready for city life. After his work and chores were done for the day, the boy used whatever strength he had left to travel into the city, where he saw firsthand what real poverty was like. Homeless people littering the alleyways. Crooks and robbers murdering and stealing. Mortified, Qiyang quickly realized this is what he would become if he continued down the path he and his mother were currently on: homeless, miserable, and desperate.
    • He made it his mission to make as much money as he could– legally. With his minimal experience, he found this to be fruitless. Qiyang then sought out the smartest of the crooks, begging them for work. He would be repeatedly told to “get lost,” though they eventually gave in to his persistent pleading. The crooks realized they could use the boy for menial labor and bait if the situation called for it, so they put him to work. They were brutal and domineering, though Qiyang knew this was only temporary; He would eventually use what he learned from the criminals and betray them and steal their money, before moving on to make money of his own. Knowing he could get away with a lot as a child, he took to scam artistry, deceiving the more fortunate folks of the city into taking pity on him and giving him money. This proved to be a quite successful move, but with his gang constantly looming over him, he was not allowed much of the earnings to himself.

    • While Qiyang and his scam artistry was effective and profitable, it unfortunately didn’t work on everyone he met. He was almost arrested after a witness saw him relinquishing his earnings to an overtly suspicious figure at the end of an alleyway. Another instance was with another criminal, who had used the exact same tactic Qiyang had in the past. The criminal subsequently robbed Qiyang of all of his earnings that day. It wasn’t until he came across a bounty hunter, immediately seeing through Qiyang’s lies, where the boy’s brief life of crime was cut short. He threatened to cut the child down for his attempt at deceit, though– seeing his desperation for money and sitting through an improvised sob-story from the boy– the bounty hunter took pity on him and offered to show him the ropes, knowing full well whatever the gang was teaching him wouldn’t get him far.

    • Over the next few years, Qiyang and his newfound mentor, Loushan Wen, traveled across the Zhong kingdoms chasing bounties. The first few years were far from rewarding for Qiyang, as he spent most of his time learning from his own screw ups that Loushan himself had to correct. Loushan was far from soft on the boy, pushing him to his limits and putting him up to even the most perilous of tests. He would be starved, left to fend for himself in the woods up against hostile creatures, or told to rob a group of criminals on his lonesome, each time nearing closer to death than before.

    • Qiyang, as he finally reached adulthood, was tough as nails. He had learned everything his mentor had to offer, becoming proficient at the art of the blade and able to track and bring in bounties on his own. Loushan parted ways with his mentee, indebting him with the task of making a name for himself alone. Qiyang gratefully obliged, and set off to Dexai to the Red-Light District, where he knew crime would be prevalent. He took on the courtesy name “Kuralang,” using it as his only known designation as he went hunting for bounty heads.

    • Feeling confident in his abilities, Kuralang chose to start with the more intermediate contracts. While some proved to be challenging, Kuralang still earned his dues. With each bounty head successfully hunted, however, Kuralang became increasingly more ambitious and conceited with his work. He sought out higher paying contracts, holding much higher risks. A few members of the Yuhai Milu, an underground criminal enterprise, were next up on his to-do list. After spending weeks tracking them, learning their routines, and setting up his plan of attack, Kuralang made his move on them. The bounty hunter’s arrogance would unfortunately be his downfall.

    • The Yuhai Milu demonstrated what such a high bounty entailed. Kuralang was brutally outmatched and outplayed, and they dispatched of him with ease. Kuralang’s luck seemingly paid off once again, however, as instead of just killing him, their leader noted his skills. Kuralang met their job description of an assassin. He was left with one choice and one choice only to devote himself to the Yuhai Milu, or promptly face execution.

    • Kuralang served the gang for several more years down the line, taking care of their opposition without question. He had gone from being nothing but an expendable drone used to carry out order to a highly regarded enforcer-slash-assassin, further increasing the gang’s credibility through his work. Their leader wished to expand their influence, and what better place would there be than Regalia– a multicultural trading hub. The higher-ups along with Kuralang set off for the Crown Isle, yearning for whatever riches awaited them there.

    Review.
    • Character Information
      • Keep in mind that the new Sihai do not have any subraces or subcultures that grant them an exclusive benefit (Such as a subrace racial boost). Due to this, putting "Jin-Lung" in Race isn't necessary.
    • Proficiency Information
      • Include +6 Roguery in your proficiency like the other proficiencies.
      • Include your physical stat at the end of your proficiency list.
That is all. Once you've fixed these issues, tag me in a reply to get your application processed again.

Horticulture Art is included in your physical stat, so it would be 30. I'll approve it now, but just fix it ASAP.

You've used 15 Proficiency points rather than the cap of 14. @tag me when you've pulled a point out and you'll be good to go.
