    Basic Information
    • Rogmar is a 23 year old male Orc
    • Rogmar is from the clan "Ironaxe". He was born to two parents, one of which he never knew. The clan resides in Daendroc. He only holds the rank of Brute in the clan, as he is not as skilled as many of his Orc kin.
    • Murzush - Mother (Deceased)
    • Murzush was a very kind and honored Orc. She was not a fighter, and stayed at the Fortress tending to the wounded and sick. She was always very loyal to her husband, despite his treachery and dishonorable ways. She did not know Rogmar very well, and same vice versa. She died of an infection picked up from a ravenous beast while hunting. She was aged 45
    • Baronk Honoraxe- Father (Deceased)
      • Baronk was a hard headed simple minded orc, loved very dearly by his tribe and wife. He was an honorable man most of his life, until a duel with the tribe Chief caused his death. It was over the automatic initiation of Rogmar into the Clan's army due to his shown skill. Baronk disagreed with this, stating his son should be free to do what he wishes. He was killed in the duel, but out of honor for his once friend the Chief decided to allow his wish to become fact by giving Rogmar Freedom
    • Un-named Siblings- (Deceased)
      • Due to the extensive size of orc litters, Rogmar had 4 siblings who did not make it past Pitting. Rogmar killed them all, and this was part of the reason the chief was insisting to forcefully enlist him. They were not named due to this fact.
    • Currently lives in the Brute Squad headquarters under the Fong mansion in Regalia. He switches between this, and his tribe on time away.
    • Rogmar wants to complete his training with the warmaster of his tribe. He also wants to earn Title (Last name) and is hoping to advance in rank within both FongCo and the Regalian Army in order to gain the respect and allies required to take his eventual place as leader of his tribe.
    Visual Information

    Body Description
    • Rogmar, due to his Orcish genes, is quite tall and strong. He stands at 6 ft 9 Inches. He is quite a muscular and tone Orc, with a large muscle mass. He has broad shoulders which make him seem a lot stronger than what he actually is. He uses this to intimidate enemies and attempt to resolve fights before they begin. Also due to his large size, he is quite un-agile. Rogmar will rarely be seen trying to dodge something, as in most cases it will fail miserably. The only disability in Rogmar is on his elbow. He broke his arm during martial training and ever since it has been very sensitive, and prone to snap. If hit quite hard here, Rogmar is mostly done for.
    • Rogmar has quite grotesque skin. It is rough and full of battle scars, which he earned from hunting and sparring. The most prominent is the scar running from his bottom right tusk up to his left eye. He earned it in a mock duel with his teacher, in which the teachers tusk accidentally slashed the face of Rogmar. He wears it proud and always tells the story behind it when asked.
    • Rogmar has no body hair. He shaves it off due to being in quite a warm climate (Daendroc). Due to his traditional clothing (A leather armor piece mounted over his shoulders, with the torso/chest shown tied at the waist by a belt), during cold months (Mainly winter) he will allow his body hair to grow, for added warmth and protection from the climate.
    Head Description
    • Rogmar has quite a rough grotesque face. It is nothing pleasing to the eye, and is very angular/jagged. He has large tusks protruding from his lower gum, which reach up to his eye. His left tusk is slightly smaller than the right, due to natural growth reasons. His chin points slightly outward, and looks quite bloated due to the presence of tusks. His mouth is always seen slightly open as he can not close it over the tusks. This causes a flabbier face around the forehead and eyes, due to the pushup of skin.
    • Rogmar has blood red eyes. They are quite dark, and tend to add to his "Scary" image. His facial expression in human terms is generally described as... Angry, although most of the time he is happy. This is due to his mouth always being open in an angry fashion as his tusks force them open. His facial expression generally depends on who he is with. If he is with a person he deeply dislikes, he will then turn genuinely and purposefully scary, although in the presence of those he likes (Usually other Orcs, but occasionally other races and rarely elves) he will be seen attempting a smile.
    • Rogmar has jet black hair which will always be seen in a neat and flat "Mohawk" of sorts. It runs down the top center of his head, in a small line.
    • Rogmar does not wear any facial accessories. He does, however, wear red paint in the symbol of his tribe. At war, it will be seen as a design all over his body, at peace it will be seen as one dot on each cheek. As mentioned earlier, he has a large gruesome scar running across his face which he earned during sparring after his master's tusk accidentally ran across his face.
    Clothing and Accessories
    • Due to Rogmar's high status within his clan's society, he is given the finest and best clothing they can produce. This is also due to the Chief's grooming and special treatment of him to one day fill his own spot/role. It consists of: Very high quality/skillfuly crafted leather armor which hangs on his shoulders and covers his back and front. It does not cover his chest, which is left slightly showing in Regalia due to it's standards and fully shown in his tribe due to the custom of doing so. Under the leather, there is a thick coat of concealed Orcish fine metals (Stuck to the leather) for protection. The piece is held to his body by a leather belt with a buckle containing two symbols: His rank symbol and tribe mascot. For pants he wears red leather pants, with hidden Orcish metal knee pads and shin guards. For shoes he wears Orcish metal boots with a sharp point which is used by him as a weapon when fighting.
    • Rogmar as mentioned wears a belt with a metal buckle. This belt was created by his father when he was the same rank as Rogmar, and worn by him until death. It is the only connection Rogmar has to his father and the chief allows it tentatively, as he feels it does not alter Rogmar's state of mind toward him. He also carries two axes when allowed, which contain inscriptions of quotes from Orcish legends. This belonged to the chief before it was passed down to him during training. Due to this, it is made of the finest and best Orcish metals available to the tribe.
    Behavior Information
    Personality Traits

Personality Traits is a bit of an odd one out of the mix. It requires 8 bullet points that have to be picked. Follow the instructions below.
    • Calm: Rogmar is quite a level-headed Orc. He tries to always avoid violence and conflict when possible. He is very hard to anger, and has an extremely long fuse. He is also quite laid back and easy to be around. This also translates into Orcish manner such as not shortening names. If someone shortens his name, unless meant as a direct insult, he will let it brush over his head as he has grown used to it from his time in Regalia and human society. This aids him when making allies, and allows him to mix better with nobles
    • Courageous: It would take a lot of fear to throw Rogmar off task. He will always put the needs of others before him quitting, and will rarely back down from something to protect a thing he loves, even if it means certain death. This is a trait admired by his Warchief and Chief, and a main reason why his chief hopes for him to become the new warchief when it comes time. He is also not afraid to take risks if it has a chance of benefiting himself or his people in any way
    • Dedicated: If Rogmar feels passionate about something, or is willing to work, then he will do so until he can do so no more, and not because of exhaustion but because there is no more work left to be done. He will rarely abandon something he has committed himself to join, and will stick through thick and thin to make it work and thrive.
    • Ambitious: Rogmar has high goals in life. This is due to an influence from his chief during the toddler/childhood years of his life. His chief always inspired him to aim high, and told him that if you don't swing the axe, you'll never win. This ties in with his Courage and willingness to take risks for something that can benefit himself or his people, and will play a massive role in his advancement within his tribe.
    • High-Spirited: It would take a lot to break Rogmar, or dampen his hopes. He always looks at the cup half full not half empty and will strive to see the good side of things even if there does not seem to be any. This ties in with his dedication, as it enables him to work through thick and thin to make something turn out great. He will always try and motivate others to be the same, and is always willing to be there for someone when their spirits aren't as great.
    • Brutal: Rogmar, when angered or fighting, is quite Brutal and will take no care to avoid mutilating someone during a fight. He is savage and will fight tooth and nail before giving in. This can sometimes go against him when he is on a call during the Brute Squad or in a fight with someone on the street, as even if ordered to just rough someone up a little, or attempting to get them to go away, his inner animal will more often than not take over and ravage them to near, or complete death
    • Crude: This ties in with "Does not think before speaking" part in the Weaknesses section. He often comes across as being crude in his humor and general speech, as he does not think the effects of saying something through before actually saying it. This can cause quite... Harsh and blunt things to come out of his mouth, which more often than not, tend to insult people and land him in some trouble. This generally does not happen with Orcs, as they allow this crude speech to pass over their head.
    • Stupid: This is really with everything bar reading and tactics. This has nothing to do with birth disability, but more to do with his upbringing. In his clan, he was never educated in mathematics, writing or science, as it was seen as irrelevant and pointless. The small bit he does know (I.e the ability to read and fluently speak common tongue), comes from his carer who spent some time in Regalia and who was instructed by the chief to teach him such things due to his plans to send him to Regalia. He also knows how to speak, read and write Orcish, a skill learned through living with them during his childhood and teens. This can often cause the educated and high up folk of Regalia to look down on Rogmar, which he does not really mind as he knows himself he is stupid.
    Likes
    • Hunting: This is a hobby Rogmar has developed since a young age. He has always had the patience of a saint, and enjoys working for his food. He was taught how to do so by his chief, who took over his fatherly role at a young age out of regret for the slaying of his father in a duel. This is not just a like, but also a skill.
    • Chess: Rogmar, although not the brightest of people, is very good at tactical games/situations. He was taught what to do and what not to do by his chief as a leader, in preparation for his one day leadership of the clan. He always likes a challenge in this, and made himself an iron board with marble pieces. They are not very well designed, but work nonetheless. He set-up a chess club in his tribe at a young age, and still leads it. He is by no means a grandmaster.
    • Sparring/fighting: This is by no means a thirst or lust for blood. This is due to the thrill and rush he gets from this activity. He is not brilliant at it in Orcish terms, but his strength can in most cases outmatch opponents. He was taught this by the clan Warmaster during training, and in particular loves hand-to-hand sparring
    • Gardening: Yes, it is far from a like expected from an orc but it catches Rogmar's attention. The thought of spending years tending to a garden, and then stepping back to see the magnificent result awes Rogmar. He is also quite a lover of plant life. This like is a source of teasing for Rogmar in his tribe.
    Dislikes
    • Disrespect: This is mainly disrespectful people/individuals. Rogmar can not stand disrespect for those who deserve respect. This is a moral enforced into him by his carer. It is a staple of his tribe to give and receive respect. Disobeying this usually lands a person with exile or worse, the death sentence, although disputes are usually resolved there and then by the two parties via a duel to death.
    • Clowns: This is more a "What in Aloria's name is that man doing" rather than a hate. He does not understand the hype behind clowns, and the reason for their existence. He finds them annoying and a scam for money. They also disrepsect many topics/people with their un-humourus jokes. He also does not understand the use of painting one's body if not for tribal/religious reasons such as his own.
    • Alcohol: This is quite a strange one for an Orc, due to their habit of drinking large amounts. This is due to it's effect on ones way of thinking and the possibility that this may lead one to say something they do not mean in any way. He also finds it cowardly to drink away one's problems, rather than face them head up like a man. Another reason is it's unappealing taste to Rogmar.
    • Enemies: If he is told bob is an enemy, even if Bob was his best friend, he is now his biggest hate. This stems from his head being influenced with ideas from the warchief since a young age. He looks up to the Warchief, and his new boss in Regalia, Dr. Fong. This is not an easy task to do though, as he will only accept influence on this topic from those he respects and holds in high account.

    Abilities and Disabilities

    Strengths
Strengths is a highlighted bullet list that condenses information from both abilities as well as personality. It is recommended to aim for 3 "main" strengths, embodying 1. Ability oriented strength 2. Personality oriented strength 3. Mental oriented strength. You can however add more.
    • War: Rogmar is an excellent strategist and decent with an axe. He also knows when to retreat and when to advance. He can take both the role of general or fighter in a war. Although he does not particularly enjoy full scale wars due to the threat it has on his tribe/people he loves he is still quite skilled at it.
    • Admirable: Rogmar is quite a person to look up to in Regalian and especially Orcish society. He is strong willed, dedicated and hard to anger. This often helps him when gaining favour and alliances in Regalia, and is a large reason why he was selected to go to Regalia by his Chief. The best part about this is he does not brag nor gloat about this fact, nor does he even realize it is a fact.
    • Street-Smart: Rogmar is very street wise/smart. He knows when someone is trying to coerce and lie to him, and his hard to fool or manipulate. This is very useful in Orcish society when someone tries to feed you lies about a particular topic in order to have an excuse to duel you. He also knows when to mess and when not to mess with someone, and is not afraid to deny a battle unless honor bound to do so.
    Weaknesses
Weaknesses works the same way as Strengths, in that it requires an Physical oriented weakness, a Personality oriented weakness and a combat oriented weakness. You can however add more.

    • Un-Agile: This was mentioned earlier, but this is a greater breakdown of the fact. Due to his large and intimidating size, Rogmar is very un-acrobatic. He can rarely dodge even a slow attack, and finds it much easier to block it instead. He is also quite slow (When running), can not climb very well and will find it hard when completing an agility stress course. He is also very unflexible. The greatest extent of agility seen from Rogmar will be completing a martial basic martial defensive move to block or get away from an enemy blow.

    • Does not think before speaking: Rogmar has a tendency to say things without thinking the consequences or effects it may have on people. This has lead to many fights, few of which have gone passed being verbal. The one which did was when Rogmar accidentally called an Orc by only his first name. This caused a duel which Rogmar easily one, due to the Orc's age of only 13 and status of recruit.
    • Slow Reactions: This is a born disability with Rogmar. He has always had terrible reaction times, and this is probably his worst downfall in combat. It means that his blocks are started a second later, which is all that is needed in most cases to get a good sword slice in. A very big contributing factor to this weakness is a head injury he picked up when younger, which has failed to fully heal and left him slightly affected. It also means his eye-hand co-ordination is worse, as they do not react at the same time. The main damage done during the injury was to a nerve ending which connected his arm to his brain. It has not been noticed by his tribe, due to the lack of medical advancements.

    Combat Styles
    • Offense: Rogmar on the offense will use his strength to attempt to overpower an enemy. He knows some skillful styles, but mostly he just uses axes to slash an opponent up to quite a good degree. One of his main skillful styles/moves used is in hand to hand combat, where he will use his adept knowledge of martial arts to overcome an enemy.
    • Defense: During defense, Rogmar will usually use the gaps between his axes to move an enemy weapon from hitting him. He will sometimes use this method to also attempt to disarm an opponent. For the most part, Rogmar tries to kill someone and keep them under pressure so they are unable to attack him. Sometimes he will be seen sidestepping, but will rarely be seen doing complex dodges or rolls.
    • After battle: After battle, Rogmar will bow to the corpse/corpses of his opponent(s) out of respect, and thank the father Vakgar for his success. He will also offer the death of these opponents to Vakgar as a trophy and good gesture. Sometimes, if starving, he will resort to eating his opponent after battle, but if he had respect for the opponent or it was an honor bound duel he will not do so.

    Weapons of Choice
    • Axes
    • Martial Arts
    • Tusks
    • Boot points

    Life Story
    Birth
There is not really much to tell in this section. At birth, Rogmar went through the same procedure as all other Orcs. He was put to the challenge of pitting. His Chief saw great potential in Rogmar at this point, due to his ability to slay his siblings in unarmed combat with nothing more that his blunt tusks and hands. It was around this time he decided to forcefully enlist Rogmar when he came of age. His father was outraged at this fact, and was the present warchief. He demanded a duel with the chief, who accepted tentatively. The chief and his father were good friends. He did not want to have to fight, but was honor bound to accept. He easily won the fight, and out of respect for his friends memory and plain guilt, decided to make his wish a fact by not forcefully enlisting Rogmar. Rogmar was the only one to survive his pitting out of the 30 Orcs put through it. It was then he was named, after his Grandfather, the greatest warchief to ever be apart of the clan

    Childhood

During his toddler years, Rogmar's mother died of a disease. He was given to a carer, who Rogmar looked up to and praised. She taught him valuable lessons and tribe customs, fleshing the mold for what he is today. Although she did not know much about it, she tried to teach Rogmar to understand Storm magic. He could not retain the information, and so she stopped. At the age of 5, the chief began nurturing and implanting ideas into Rogmar to become the new warchief in place of his father, and possibly even advance one day to chief. He was taught to hunt, play chess and strategic information. He loved the chief as a father, and the chief treated Rogmar as a son. Eventually, at the age of 7, he decided to pursue a military career of his own choice. He enlisted with the Warchief, who was commanded to accept him and put him in the higher education class. He exceeded expectation in this class, and was loved by his teacher. It was the age of 8 when the chief gave him two axes which used to belong to him and a belt buckle which used to belong to Rogmar's father. He graciously accepted them and won his first sparring battle to the death that day with them.

    Teen life

For most of his teen life up until the age of 16, life continued on as usual. He learned and continued to amaze in his classes. He graduated from the academy, and was placed in the full army as a grunt. In the Orcish army, ranks are hard to achieve and no promotions have occurred yet due to the lack of wars and battles available to partake in. Rogmar continues to attend regular training with the regular army, and develops his skills all the time. The also started giving him one to one classes on advanced combat for his one day advancement to Warchief. It was during this time he received his gear which he still uses today. It was crafted by the tribes greatest smith, and took 6 months to create and find the materials for.

    Adult life

Rogmar was sent out at the age of 21 to Regalia as a representative of his tribe. The chief wanted him to establish bonds and alliances for his eventual leadership of the army and potentially the whole clan. He set off immediately to Regalia by boat, and arrived 1 month later due to it's many stops in various locations. He lived in an apartment in the poor district for a year, while he sussed out and got a feel for Regalia. After this period, he joined up with FongCo as a member of the Brute squad. He has been establishing alliances with the Fong family for months now, and took a holiday back to his tribe in which he received a warm welcome. He told his chief of what happened, and stayed for 2 months. He has now returned to Regalia and lives presently in the Barracks of the Brute Squad. He is being conscripted to fight against the Qadir in the ongoing war due to his role as a brute squad member. After writing to his chief and receiving a yes reply, he is planning to leave very soon. This war will hopefully strengthen him as a member of Regalian society and earn him many allies/support within the empire.

    I am reviewing this character!

    • The weakness "can't use anything but an axe" isn't so much a weakness, as a way to say he's good with axes. I'd like you to come up with a different weakness to replace this. Keep in mind, you need to focus on balancing Rogmar.
    • Make the above edit and tag me when you're done. @sprrow26

I'm afraid you're missing the forest through the trees somewhat. The inability to use a certain weapon isn't a weakness, you need to come up with something that is more or less unique to Rogmar. I'll have to ask you to come up with something different. @sprrow26

    @Jared4242

Hello again! Sorry I missed the message about making a non weapon based weakness. I think the one I have added in it's place it quite unique and balances it out quite nicely. Hope you enjoy!
